When cloud gaming works as it should, it's a great convenience to have.
More convenient than owning your game offline forever? Being able to play whenever and wherever?
I'm not denying Internet flexibility or latency during use, especially with PvP games.
It would be during all games. Not just PvP. All games would have latency and lag issues including single player games. Imagine trying to play Unreal Tournament, Street Fighter, or Dark Souls against the CPU enemies but with random latency dips and input drops or lost connections.
Say you're on vacation with good Internet, you could pull up your laptop and a controller, log in, pick a game, and play (relatively) seamlessly where you are. No downloading needed.
You can do that with a laptop that has your games downloaded already. Why would bring your laptop with you just to access the cloud? It would only make sense if you could cloud game from any random terminal or PC so you don't need to carry a laptop with you. But if you have your laptop on you.....it should have your games ready to play offline. You've just introduced a bunch of entirely unnecessary steps for no gain.

oh em gee you n i g g e r.
you could just pick a shitty NVME USB adapter and slap a kingspec on it since they have reliable chips to them according to gamers nexus and use your controller to play via bluetooth, if you are going WiFi then you are probably not going to play PvP games (unless you are masochistic or something) so... buying the shitty nvme to keep your steam library to carry along your notebook will save you alot more money than doing subscription niggardy.
love u bby, kthxbye.

Cloud gaming isn't a bad idea. Internet speeds are fast enough to handle that. However, basing your whole ecosystem around cloud gaming when the technology isn't fully proven is a bad idea. Nintendo is learning that the hard way where some games are digital or cloud only.
I briefly played Killing Floor 2 with Geforce Now and it was unplayable with the mouse and keyboard. Can't recall my ping, but it would have been around 25-30 ms. I did play through Halo 5 on Xbox Cloud with a controller and that was more playable, but definitely inferior to playing locally.

' I also didn't expect my gamertag to blowup and the reality is more boring. I created it recently to learn and understand this world.' - okay so she's at least starting to be honest and admit she's been larping as a gamer.

'I’ve played with my family, and it’s a shared home account across devices (which you can see in the range of games /achievements). Fixed that this weekend and everyone is only playing on their own GTs.' - I have the feeling 'played with my family' are weasel words for 'I watched my children play'.

New reported CEO of Xbox doesn't play games, yet decides to share their gamertag and gets surprised when people find out? Who is THAT DENSE?

Like I said before with Indians, they talk unnaturally, it's uncanny and tedious.

You aren't inherently wrong, but what really is the use case? Why would you be gaming on your vacation and not instead just install the game ahead of time? Hotel/travel internet is notoriously bad and for short intervals there's an entire bevy of games to kill time with on your phone that are usually better on shitty/no internet car/plane trips anyhow.

It's neat, but extremely niche and almost always too expensive in the few areas that it could conceivably work.

Typical jeet behavior.

They are too stupid and arrogant to ever believe someone would figure out their scam and call them out on it.

This dumbfuck poojeta probably thought she was being so very clever with her fake gaming account, and would fool all the Whites with her jugaad.

I'd like to actually own my games not playing them on some server 100 miles away where they could at any point go down or the games are just taken off.

lol yeah I can imagine their technology's kept up quite well. Kinect has always been brilliant at facial recognition :story:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=SOO72k8Y8qIGood fucking luck, players!
That’s the Xbox Vision Camera, not the Kinect. Also, I love how that female character model in R6: Vegas, a 2006 game, looks better than female character models TODAY.

Brother, maybe they're fast enough where you live. In some areas of the country it doesn't even matter how much money you have because a fast enough plan just isn't being sold. Or you pay for a certain speed and then the ISP fucks around and doesn't give you that speed.

More importantly, when I buy a video game I want to actually buy it and not just watch my money go down the toilet for a meaningless "license" that the tranny devs can revoke because I said nigger.

I'm not holding my breath
You should.

I strongly suspect she's there to be a bag holder and draw attention away from any real changes happening at Microsoft.

Sure she's unqualified, but also doesn't seem agentic enough for the scenario.
Her job is it put more indians in power and extract more wealth before it collapses.
She's holding a bag but its the bag of money and loot they're plundering for the great poo nation

Y'know I always had a naive hope that Microsoft's overwhelming technological incompetence would be the cause of its ultimate demise, but I'm happy to see jeet scammers gut and loot its still-living corpse until it dies as the viable alternative.

Shame they can't rob Bill Gates blind too just to punish that faggot for setting it all in motion in the first place.

Duke Nukem forever got in development hell because the studio lead kept playing new games and saying "We need to add that feature" over and over.
Brussard should have just stuck to the original design document, and kept new features in mind for sequels or expansion packs.

Being a gamer is not essential to running a gaming company.
I only eat McDonalds and struggle to scramble eggs. Make me the king of Four Seasons.

sir this is Xbox, not Sony.
With how popular PC gaming has become, mandatory monthly fees for online access might be on their way out. It’s certainly a way to stand out amongst the other consoles.

I have wondered if there will ever be a revolt against subscriptions. They’re insidious, and they’re everywhere. There are entire services that have dedicated programs to scrape your transaction history and find unwanted subscriptions. They are the manifestation of “You will own nothing and you will be happy”, and it seems rare to meet someone who doesn’t have at least one subscription other than essentials, like phone service.
