They really don't tell you the rates in WWE Champions like any other gacha?
Not on their public website anyway. I don't know what the legal requirement is in Japan for just how disclosure has to take place.
Any mega-autists feel like downloading the Japanese version of the app and seeing if there's any "odds screen" in there? (I highly doubt it, but...)

They do tell you “odds” in the loosest definition. I’ve mentioned it before but the 3.6% includes shards in multiples of 5. It also doesn’t say individual odds, just the odds of getting one of the ones in that block. Like for these loot coins, it’s 5 bucks a pull. You get 20 coins you get a slight chance for featured. And yes you could have a 3.6% to hit, but to get rock here, it may be .1% of that 3.6%!

Besides the "comply with applicable law" and what you'd expect from any policy, the App store's developer guideline lists this as one of the requirements.
If they deem that Champions isn't following it, they could kick them out of the developer program, from what I understand.

Note the use of "type of item" where we enter semantics:

If you want a couple of the full list of odds:
Nigel has posted the percentages of some of the loot boxes, this is an example of one of the previous ones. You have a lot more of different posters for the featured category, so if you're "lucky" enough to get one, pray it's not the 2-3 stars.
It's generally one coin per pull, TJ posted the price for these:

That one has already ended, so there's a new one for you to spend even more. This is a screenshot of the percentages, it seems just a bit more generous, but that's not saying much:

That's for the ones you have to pay that I have not experience with, but there's some free stuff that also has insane low odds.
I tried some bags that you sometimes get as a daily reward, it claims to have a 2SB or 10-1000 shards, and you need 2000 to recruit her.
No matter what, you always seem to get the lowest amount, here as a test I got 30 shards for 3 bags. By the time the month ends, a new superstar will replace her so a F2P account will never have enough chances to get them. Much like other items in Champions, they just work as an incentive for people to spend money.

I decided to make another round for Scopely's percentages in the loot. They're doing the usual type of "event", but this one is weird as you've seen from TJ's post, it's Christmas in July.
They're also giving for free a regular Alexa Bliss and Stone Cold at 3SB (if you go and claim them), but that's useless for a whale.
Anyways, this is the list of the posters:

The percentages are atrocious, and the only wrestler that I could see useful for a whale of DSP's calibre would be the special Alexa because she's at 5 stars silver, but that's only 1 poster amongst many.

If and only if Scopely is playing by their rules and common sense, if the featured category is at 1.39%, and the chance of getting one of the wrestlers in that category is equal for everyone, then 5SS Alexa should be at 0.058%.

They do not have to tell you the individual rates.

They have to say the rates per rarity.

This is how all gachas work besides certain high profile japanese/chinese ones that get wrist slapped.

A gacha can say '1% for ssr' and be done with it.

I am sure I mentioned this earlier, but the dirtiest one they used to do was called "Equal Odds Loot" where it would appear that you had an equal chance of either pulling a character at three star whatever or shards of them instead.

In actuality, you were pulling for either the character or shards in increments of five (from 5 to 100) which each counted as their own tier. Instead of a 50% chance, you actually had a 4.7% chance (1 out of 21).

How they were legally allowed to call it "equal odds" is beyond me.

The fan Reddit page also did some digging and found that the odds of getting a specific wrestler were dependent on who the player had already pulled, which means the % chance of getting a wrestler would depend heavily on his (let's be honest, there are no women playing this fucking money sink) existing roster rather than being simple RNG.

If I understood it correctly, the RNG would adapt based on a player's roster to give him higher odds of giving them wrestlers he already had - if this is true then all those estimates of how much a given wrestler cost were probably serious underestimates because they underestimated the number of duplicates.

If I get this on console, how many Hogans in how many turns to summon “Puddzodia the ever throbbing”?
Do they censor his Speedo crushing the opponent in the western version?

It's so sick that Phil have 1649 days active gameplay in WWE Champion, it's four and a half years. A 40-year-old man just throwing his time and money away - just mind-boggling…
The best part? This isn’t WoW (or any other game that will survive a nuclear holocaust because ppl will still play it): this shitty wrastling gacha game will die eventually and he will have absolutely nothing for the ungodly amounts of money he’s pumped into it.

The worst part? We are all Phil when developers & servers shut down; games like WoW will die eventually, unless they're being played locally with physical copies.... even fan-made resurrections like ToonTown will vanish if/when hosting stops.

True, but hopefully those games we loved weren’t predatory to the point where we’ve had to fraudulently declare bankruptcy to continue playing.
