did phil die?

You shouldn't rely on the website if you want good accuracy, it takes 2-3 days to update the page (if it updates), and words like "yesterday" used in the last-online section have too much of a margin of error.
This is a screenshot taken around 10 minutes ago:

Also, new trial character:

Look at this guy's stats, I cannot upgrade him, but at 5SBronze it costs half a million coins to enhance him. So when you have him at 5SSilver it will cost you around the same per level of upgrade, i.e: to get him to Lv.211, I think. Imagine leveling up a silver character to max, where do you get all the coins at that pace?

And also, 4,000,000 health? At that tier health packs must be used en masse to cure him (or maybe wait for an entire day if he gets badly beaten up)...

Edit: Fixed something.

I don't think you want a complete run down on all the mechanics, that would be kind of boring and the important bits were already posted in this thread, but you play the game by having matches against wrestlers (that's supposedly the fun part).
You match gems to deal damage, and based on the gem's color it'll fill up the moves you've equipped the wrestler, which have different effects. The main goal is to deal enough damage so that you KO the opponent or manage to pin them down.

What you see in the screenshot is the "talent" of the wrestler (the 17657 digit), which is essentially how strong he is, (depends on his stars, Lv, and Lv. of his moves). All the white numbers you see next to the gems is the damage he'll deal per gem when you match them on the board, and the green number how much it'll improve when you level him up. So if this guy wasn't on "trial", you'd need to upgrade all of his moves (uses "Trainer Points"), max his Lv. of 5SBronze wrestlers (uses coins), and spend a bunch of tokens, and at this level that requires a massive amount of resources.

There is a very small aspect about Champions when it comes to startegy (knowing when to use the moves, cascading gems, equipping trainers/straps/whatever) but the game is so unbalanced that if you have one of the OP characters maxed out you essentially can 1-2 shot the other, sometimes you don't need to match gems or even think.
These are 3 OP characters DSP has at high level, all of them can potentially 1 shot you and little to none startegy is used:

Timestamp: 5:21
The game is already boring normally, but at DSP's level it has to be literally painful. It's white noise at best, you have to be a masochist to willingly log every day and spend money every week just to do a bunch of meaningless matches, unless you're working in some way with Scopely for their product (pretty sure he isn't).

Great post, I appreciate it.
I knew it had something to do with match 3 due to all the bejeweled jokes but watching the guy literally kill the opponent in a single move just by converting half the gems on the board to his color is hilarious.

I made a joke in the "what game do you wanna see DSP play" thread, that while I know it will never happen, I sometimes imagine DSP playing a game like Europa Universalis 4 and how funny it would be. But considering this WWE game is basically all just currency trading and management in all its 6 trillion forms, maybe he would actually be good at EU4 since that's all that game is as well, and getting that full game is *only* 300 bucks, rather than hundreds of thousands.

You would think he would at least pick an exploitative gambling game that is fun, I know there are a lot out there. Is the pull of the WWE IP really that great? What it probably is, is that he started playing it early when it came out, spent some money and was near the top, and has been kept in by a combination of wanting to feel like he is on top again and the sunk cost fallacy. Makes you wonder that when inevitably another of these WWE games comes out, potentially one that is far more fun (if just as exploitative) if he won't move over to it. We know he played the marvel game and the DBZ game before (or even still is), so I think a great gacha migration is possible in the future.

I think when you match 3 pink gems that inflates Hulk's boner, while the white gems allow you to spray your opponent with "happy goo", and the brown gems let you attack the rear of your opponent.

3. Unrelated to points #1-#2, but Phil, if you want to gamble, at least do it right you fucking pussy. Get your fat ass to the casino like any mature adult would do
He could just play the penny stocks or shitcoins if he doesn't want to leave the house. One of them would have mooned by now. It's crazy to me that these cards aren't NFTs or able to be sold in any way. It just blows my mind. I'd have gotten professional help by now if I were in his situation. There's resources out there for people who need help and can't afford it. I'd also throw my phone away and get one that can't run apps.

Oh my gahd, this is hilarious.
"Liberator. Bonus gem damage, uuh..."

In Fallout, Phil? Bonus gem damage?
Just cut the stream and start your gatcha pulls 🤣

Unless he mumbled something completely different, thank you for admitting.
He'll absolutely try and play the stationary negger defense.

Apparently what he was reading said "Bonus limb damage x2.5". Limb sounds nothing like gem, so I'm assuming "bonus gem damage" is a phrase that shows up quite often in WWE and his gin addled brain just saw "bonus" and autocompleted the rest.

DSP didnt rank in the most recent contest again. this one was a faction feud that required LOTS of work (20 hours straight) to make top 100. TeeExTee did get a snapshot of his roster in faction feud at least
