Let's not get carried away with his spending numbers. He got like $150k discharged. $400k was his total debt - including 2 condos.

Yeah, lots of people seem to get this confused. His credit card debt was ~$140k. He still owes ~$110k on the CT condo. He owes something like ~$220k on his WAkhando. The $140k is the only discharged debt. Once the CT condo is sold, he'll be out from under that debt unless MidFirst 1) tries to and 2) is legally able to collect on the deficiency.

He also has equity in both condos so even "he owes $110k in Connecticut and $220k in Washington" is not telling the whole story:

The Connecticut condo has a mortgage of about $100,000 and was initially assessed at $60,000 by the court ordered appraiser (deficiency of $40,000). Since then the price has increased to about $95,000 for a deficiency of $5,000. I have no idea how this interacts with MidFirst's motion for strict judgment, which I believe entitled them to the $60,000 it was assessed at back in 2020 irrespective of sale price. It also entitles them to money slightly earlier in the process but that is not relevant to Phil. Either way the deficiency is no more than $40,000 and could be small or none if the sale occurs while COVID is still keeping the price artificially high. At the risk of sounding like a broken record the combination of things going back to normal and the expiration of executive orders forbidding eviction/foreclosure is going to have a major and difficult to predict effect on the housing market.

For the WAKhando/Snort Fort he has a $220,000 mortgage on a $350,000 property so the equity there is about $130,000.

When you look at it like that his real net worth pre-bankruptcy was about $130k - $40k - $140k = -$50k and is now somewhere between $90k ($130k WAKhando equity less a $40k Connectikhando deficiency) and $130k (WAKhando equity). This does not count cash, the value of household goods, or equity in the Toyota but those are in the low five figures at most. This was still a ton of debt and $130k in home equity is a smaller and less liquid nest egg than any financial planner would recommend for his age and income but the $400k value is so misleading that you may as well round up and call it wrong.

We all know 110k is rookie numbers for Phil.

Hes shooting for several million and instead of buying his condo, will basically piss it all away

So you can pay to reroll the available items at the shop. You pay for the privilege to maybe pay straight up for what you want.

Do Scopeley deliberately time these special offers with Phil getting his twitch payment?

That's a real possibility because the middle of the month is payday for a lot of people, not just Phil - depending on the job I've always been paid either weekly on Friday or biweekly on the 15th and 30th/31st of the month.

Considering how Scopely is knowingly exploiting gambling addicts they are definitely scummy enough to time events to line up with payday, i.e. when players will have the most disposable income. There's also a sick kind of irony because Phil does this exact same thing; he used to e-beg for his viewers' Christmas money and in the last ~nine months he's increased the begging whenever another round of COVID funds went out.

Uh oh, something tells me Phil is going to desperately need money for some more "emergency home repairs."

I cant believe dsp had that line earlier this week about "its okay to drop a few hundred dollars 'here and there' " on a game you like.

Was this a night stream? Because he sounds drunk. He talked himself into a hole, stream of consciousness lying, then he said he spent more on supercard than champions. Every now and then we get one of these mobile game rants from him. It's disturbing to watch

Edit: he threw the word investment in there a few times too. Delusional gin roach

If I remember right the RNG is also rigged. The Champions page on reddit did the math and found that either not all wrestlers of a given rank were equally likely to appear, or once they unlocked a new wrestler s/he was MORE likely to appear on future rolls than ones they hadn't gotten yet. I love watching Phil get robbed blind by people even scummier than him but some of what Scopely is doing comes really close to "how is this not illegal".

He also believes that you're "guaranteed to win" if you play the lottery enough. How this man(child) graduated from university is beyond me.

Scopely's making Fate GO look mighty generous and makes Granblue even more generous than it already is.

This guy never learned about the gambler's fallacy. Past outcomes don't influence future ones when it comes to gambling, Phil. Losing 99 times on slots doesnt increase your odds of a jackpot anymore than when you sat at the machine an hour ago.

I'd love to see him playing WWE Champions for an hour as he stares dead-eyed at the screen spending hundreds of dollars and getting nothing in return. To see the sighs, the laughter to conceal the rage burning inside. Remember during his Yakuza stream he played Blackjack and for those 20 minutes or so, his entire world was that blackjack table. Total focus, not one mention of low tips, he was totally absorbed. That he tries to casually say he doesn't have an obvious gambling addiction is such a joke.
If he didn't think doing so would extinction level event his whale pod instantly, we'd get the greatest Phil Burnell performance in vidya games since he finished fourth that time on the bugged port of SF2.
The thing that ties into this which is what made that unhinged rambling even more hilarious to me was the part where Dave said if the bankruptcy court made a mistake they would've lost their jobs and everything and that courts don't tolerate incompetent judges and other kinds of employees...thinking that government employees are competent..it's filled by boomers. What the fuck does Nancy know how much someone doing "Live-streaming and on-demand begging services" should realistically have as monthly expenses.
How many dockets came before the pigroach docket? How many came after that same day? It had to be 20-30? Just one day that week out of how many they were open for? 100K mobile game whaling is a relative drop in a bucket.

If you believe the ludicrous cover story Phil gives for this account, they've had time every day to "set him up" for the last three years and nearly three whole more months consecutively. Not even Derich has a stream watching streak of DSP that long I'd imagine at this point in time...

With his Twitch partnership cancelled, it'll be interesting to see how this affects Totally-Not-DSP's WWE activity. He'll probably whale for now as he got like $500+ today, but if this cheer/sub ban sticks, that's a lot of income that he won't be getting....

I don't know how to check PR's stats on WWE Champions but this needs to be looked at for sure. This is a good indicator of if the Pig Roach still has money to blow or if he has any sort of self-control on gatcha. The pressure is high right now for PR.
