Phil points out "well it can't be me because the bankruptcy was approved". It's not the courts job to decide if you spent the money in a reasonable way, he could have gambled it all away at a casino and the bankruptcy would still get approved. It's the courts job to decide that if Phil has the income or assets to pay back the debt. He also managed to put his CPA into pignosis by getting him to sign off his mobile game spending as a business expense because the guy isn't going to sit there and cross reference 100's of hours of youtube videos to decide which games Phil can put as expenses and which he can't... He just takes Phils word for it.
One of my friends pointed this out, he works for a collection agency and he hates it, but he told me that if there is that much money to be just gone and no trace of it from purchases the only explanation for that hole is from gambling losses.

Humor me on this one and lets play devils advocate.

Is there any kind of evidence out there that shows that he's right and we are wrong about his sweaty men addiction?
What mainly suggests that it’s him:
  • A Discord account confirmed to be used by the addict, created around 20 minutes after DSP got suspended from Twitch, years ago.
  • DSP’s statements that he used the leaked Discord account (the one above) to contact his Twitch staff member.
2.png
  • In that same image (8/15/2020), the claim that he deleted an account “last month” which checks out on the approximate date TCMDSP’s Discord was set for deletion.
  • DSP’s confirmed new account, created around the time the first mod’s chat leaks happened.
  • Anonymouse’s claim that those leaks are real and not doctored, and specifically saying that the name and numbers of the account are the same.
  • Other moderators verifying to LSB the unique ID of the account.
  • DSP’s Twitter PFP, only uploaded there by his own words, cropped differently than the same image used by Rafters in Discord.
7.gif
  • A Line account registered to his phone number (normally used for Champions factions), when he said he didn’t change it. His Twitter recovery option still shows a number ending in 24 linked to it.
8.png
  • The fact that in order to start a plan like this means you’d have to assume that if DSP decided to debunk this by showing his account the second this was brought up, would result in a loss of money, time and effort involved in the intense stalking of his online activities.
  • Him not showing the account because of actual rubbish reasons.
What suggests it’s not him:
  • The level of scumbag you have to be to lie to your fans like this.
  • That at least to my knowledge, the trustee didn’t start a report to request an investigation on the already suspicious 5000 dollars in business expenses, and therefore possible bankruptcy fraud. But then again, none of the creditors put any challenge on the meeting (just the guy that got as confused as the trustee towards the end, because they didn’t bother to read the files properly).

Well if we're going full devil's advocate, all the evidence provided that it's him could be fabricated. For this to be a reality though, it would take a team of people with a large amount of financial resources and uniquely talented folk who would have to have a hate-boner stronger than Superhound's and autism levels that would put him to shame and they would have to be solely focused on DSP's schedule on and off Twitch to manufacture not only the playschedule of NotDSP over the course of ~3 years but also all the time spent socializing with others involved in WWE Champions playing as DSP. A team this nefarious would be able to topple small governments but would have to think that of all the other applicable benefits of having these skills and resources that a relative nobody streamer who scams wheelchairs for a living would be worthy of such endeavors to not hurt him financially, not hurt him legally, but simply make him look like more of a ridiculous human being knowing that all he has to do to ignore this scandal is deny and ban people talking about it till it goes away.
The rub for me on this theoretical troll (or troll group in your case) is that they would've had to have been setting this account up years ago in advance with tens of thousands of dollars invested on the expectation that the account may never actually be discovered and the investment would effectively be wasted. I have never ever seen a troll do something like this in all of my years of watching people online. It's easy to see why too; all trolls are motivated either by lols at their mark's expense, and/or because they're attention whores that want to be recognized by peers even if they're online strangers. Dumping several years of time and tens of thousands of dollars while simultaneously patiently hoping that someone else finds it just doesn't fit the MO of a troll no matter how you slice it. Why take such extreme risks when there's simpler, easier ways to make Phil look like an idiot?

Another issue with this theory is Phil's own spending problems. One of the reasons regulars here were so quick accept that Phil was wasting his life savings on a gacha game is because it neatly explained both how he was able to get his bankruptcy accepted despite his obscene spending, and how he was still behind on things like his taxes, credit, and mortgage despite earning six figures annually. With the gacha gambling addiction reveal it suddenly all made sense, Phil really doesn't have any money on him when he begs daily because he pisses it all away on Champions every night. He had no assets that the state of Washington could force him to sell to avoid bankruptcy because that's not where his money is going. Spending on a mobile game means he doesn't have overcome his crippling social anxiety and laziness to piss away his cash gambling at a casino. When you assume that Phil's financial problems stem from a mobile game gambling addiction, the rest of his behavior suddenly starts to make a lot more sense.

We were speculating for a long time where his money was going. Gambling was an idea but it didn't make sense. He is a hermit he's not going to the casino every weekend. Then this whole saga was discovered and everything made sense. There were certain red flags that it is dsp. For example any discord user knows that if this was some random guy being harassed he would just turn on his voice chat in discord to prove its not dsp. Also nobody would use the username "theycallmedsp" and phil has done this before where he used his real account name on a forum. He probably did this to gain followers after flexing his champions account.

Phil is not very creative with forum names, he cycles through about 5 or 6 different usernames whenever he's made an account somewhere, they are mostly relatively similar to each other as well, often using his DSP related names or a similar word structure, DSP going incognito on the internet is an oxymoron, because he just has to pick a name where he can show off just how grandiose he is and you can evidently tell that it would be him.

IMO if he did reveal he plays the game it would have no impact.

He landed his scamruptcy and there is no reverting it once granted.

His whales don't give a shit what he spends his money on and are objectivly retarded.

He could just open his pre stream, tell everyone it's his account and make no big deal about it, then bitch about having groceries and bills to pay if the stream was slow.

His "stealth" WWE Champions names weren't terrible, it's just that you can't really hide a whale as big as him.

His consistent hypnotised stream viewers wouldn't care so much because they're too absorbed into Phil's jargon and will continue to hang around anyway regardless about what detractors say about him (but these people are slowly dwindling in numbers over time as his streaming numbers have significantly been dipping over the years and apart from his retarded slow fans, these people are an extreme minority in his chat, like below 10% in his streams all the time now it seems).

The "Ironic Fans" (essentially detached trolls) are just a revolving door, they'll continue to bring up other antics to poke fun at him and will just keep getting banned, until the day Phil realises that people will keep doing this because he takes the troll bait, every, single, time, and starts drama all on his own accord.

The big time whales that chime in from time to time don't necessarily care too much either way as well, but they seem to donate for specific reasons along the lines of competing among each other for that respective big tipper spot so they can be that leader board "saviour", and if they're throwing that much money at Phil to begin with, I doubt they care so much to suddenly stop once they would find out that Phil is throwing his money away like a middle aged gambling addict (honestly some of these people probably already know what he does, but it doesn't phase them at all, either because they've dug too deep into the roach hole or a continuously looking for desperate gratification as their life becomes more depressing and worthless).

I started thinking about this the other day after I made a post about the Net $12K Emerald_Seven gave Phil that just disappeared into the Phil Burnell Financial Black Hole and definitely did not get put towards paying his taxes. In fact Phil screamed at several people for being 'fucking idiot children who don't understand how the real adult world works' when people asked him where the fuck all the Emerald_Seven money disappeared to during his 2 Tax Begathons.

It's not just how much of a scumbag you have to be by feigning distress daily and begging from your fans while spending this much on a mobile game. Phil has been spending almost $20K per year on this game since shortly after Kathy moved in around Feb/March 2018!

Phil, just like a classic gambling addict, is lying to every single person in his life about this. Phil is lying to his parents about this. Phil is lying to his girlfriend(SoulMaid) and later wife(Mom) about this. Phil is lying to his "Tax Guy" about this. Phil lied to the bankruptcy court about this. Phil lied to his strip-mall bankruptcy attorney about this. It's even possible Phil is lying to the IRS about this.

  • Phil accepted $4K from his elderly parents and an all expenses paid week-vacation to see them and they paid for his wedding. . .while he was spending thousands on WWE Champions.
  • Phil's parents offered to pay for a honeymoon vacation for Phil and Kathy to go wherever they wanted, and Phil refused to take his new bride Kathy on a dream vacation for a honeymoon because Phil said he "couldn't afford to lose another week of money from streaming". . .while he was spending thousands on WWE Champions.
  • Phil stopped making Federal Income Tax payments in 2018, and since has payed the absolute bare minimum he can get away with paying. He is on a years long repayment program just to pay his taxes that were more than easily affordable with the thousands he was concurrently spending on WWE Champions.
  • Phil very likely fell behind on his credit card debt and began only sending a payment on final notices, allowing his balance on 14 cards and lines of credit to balloon to the point he had to declare bankruptcy to avoid litigation.
  • Phil hides his gacha gambling addiction spending behind his business from the IRS and bankruptcy court.

Phil lies to his own parents about his financial distress and happily accepts thousands of dollars from them that he has verbally acknowledged on video that he knows they can't afford.
Phil lies to his own wife about his financial distress and denied her a honeymoon because of it.

This shit is darker than just Fat Faggot Clown Burnell fleecing ♿s out of their :tugboat: on Twitch. Phil is actually exploiting the only people in his life IRL for his gacha addiction. Phil will fuck over anyone to get what he wants.

I would have thought drugs #1 followed by gambling #2?

I got a notification on the next big thing they're doing. I don't think receiving these PMs happens very often, at least for low level accounts, so it must be something special.

*I haven't participated in this type of event so I don't know exactly what's about. It may also not reflect anything in his expenditures if he's already stacked up in health packs and other.

I bet it's a strap on peripheral that vibrates in your gout hole when you buy $200 pudpacks

You are misunderstanding "gambling". Paying for loot boxes in the hope of unlocking characters or abilities in a mobile game is the gambling. No one thinks Phil is playing blackjack off stream.

These mobile games work like casinos except the house cannot possibly lose. A "win" for the player is a few pixels, not a pocket full of cash like in traditional gambling.

Even if you look at poker, the most profitable and popular game is WSOP. There are millions of players who pay real money for virtual chips to play the exact same game of poker that you can play with real money and cash out of. The psychology behind this is amazing and it's not surprising that these companies behind these apps all have massive internal teams that focus on creating addiction. Their entire business model depends on finding that 1 in a 1000 player and keeping them hooked with new promotions, new items and never letting people feel like they have finished the game.

Well yes, that's the point. No one believed Phil was enough of a robust marinara adult to actually go to a casino, and yet the money kept vanishing. That's why it was such a revelation when we realized he was gambling right on the toilet.

Phil himself has provided zero evidence besides the Shaggy defense.
Now for the things that could exonerate him simply have never happened. The account never logs on when he's on camera, does the bulk of the grind when he's gin tweeting at 4 am or during breaks, and the most damning the dude that is totally not DSP never bothered to prove he wasn't DSP. He decided to endure the harassment and doxxing of his guildmates rather than hopping on discord somewhere and use voice chat to prove it wasn't DSP.

Scopely is privately held, for now. But bet your ass once they announce an IPO, a ton of Kiwis are going to get rich at Phil’s expense.
I take it that every Kiwi dedicated to the Cult of Phil will buy early so the stocks resemble something of the GME space mission.

Cept this time we're going to Mars.

Edit: the Company's total value shot up over 300% over the timeframe in which Phil began dumping everything that wasnt for food money into sweaty man jpgs. (do not know the mobile game's actual release date or when Phil began playing.)

phil singlehandedly financed an empire.png
