A. I doubt Phil will be doing that stuff. B. I don't think that changes anything either if they do most of their talking in the Line group he would for certain have his name as the name people can see in the leaderboards etc

When we say Phil has the memory of a goldfish we're usually talking game mechanics or being competent at something. We don't mean he's a literal Alzheimer's patient who regularly forgets Khet exists and starts driving back to Connecticut. Even discounting the mountains of other evidence he's specifically mentioned playing WWE Champions up to Nov 2018 and possibly even later and its been on his mind a lot recently. He also has a very long memory when he feels like it ala 4th place US world champion. Plus a lot of his 'bad memory' is simply lying and retconning constantly. The notion that he'd just plumb completely forget something like this seems pretty far fetched to say the least.

DSP is for sure going to try and play like he has a leadership role, he didn't dump 40k+ into a game or run his streaming career like a despot just to be quiet and play his sweaty man jpegs without trying to big dog everyone he can whenever he can. To that end, and probably part of being the only person with a jacked up user name that leaderboards different than his in game communication so his group demands it, he's going to have to stick with TheyCallMeDSP for communication purposes.
 
Just cross-posting this here from TKOH Forum thread about how Phil himself told us as recently as a month ago that that is still his phone number. He's panicking hard :stress:

He's panicking so hard he forgot that just 1 month ago he made this video to wash his hands of the detractor takedowns in his name.

Who's even heard of Line and why would anyone have it installed other than for weird shit like this?

Why would Phil bother changing the name to cover his tracks when it's linked to his Phone number? The username could be SuperHoundTevin42069 it wouldn't matter because it's his phone number.

Why would you deny having ever installed it when you clearly did unless it was to cover up you being a degenerate gacha fiend.

Can you name every app you used in the last 5 or so years? I don't get why you're trying to strawman me,I think its entirely reasonable to suggest he could have just forgotten about the app completely. I'm not sure the second half of your post even matters, I'm not trying to suggest it isn't his account at all, I'm just saying that I don't think it is the final nail in the coffin nor is it evidence for him using WWE champions at all. Several people have pointed out correctly that WWE champions isn't unique for people using line and his name not being his ingame name is a major red flag. I think its entirely possible to come to the conclusion that yes Phil plays WWE champions but this line account isn't evidence for that, its just general evidence that he plays these kinda games.

I would take it the other way. We all know Phil and we all know what an entitled fuck he is. I would imagine that would be the case if he was still in faction with other whales he was trying to impress. But right now he's a big fish in a tiny pond and he probably views himself as being above everyone else and refuses to do anything. I see your point but I would imagine for either of us to be correct we would need to see the faction chat. Up until that point I would argue that given that there is doubt around it we have to maintain that its doubtful until we see evidence to the contrary.

On a completely different note. Does anyone here live in Seattle? Every single restaurant in Tokyo has a line account you can connect to and get offers for and given so many Japanese people move to Seattle for University could it be that restaurants there do the same? That doesn't really explain why he denied all knowledge of the app but maybe he used it a long long time ago and forgot. I know that I'm essentially giving Phil a lot of outs but its kinda important to run through the possibilities

I'm not an expert at WWE Champions but I'm assuming the Line App doesn't preinstall with it and is associated with guilds rather than being a necessity for casual players. Its something you would onlyreally come across if you were doing more than just wading in,. Which means it would take a modicum of extra effort to install let alone use it on top of the extra effort of running with guilds which means if a goutjin like Phil has it, that probably means he was in moobs deep and serious about the whole affair.

Find me when DSP changed anything about his personality for anyone ever and you'll have changed my mind, but in 6000+ posts on the main thread I have yet to see it.

Also Line is a popular app in Japan because that's where it originated, it probably doesn't get use much outside of Japan and certainly wouldn't be a go to for restaurants in Seattle.

Phil doesn't have to change his stripes in the context of what I'm saying. Doesn't it sound very Phil-like to be helpful in a faction where people are at his level in the game but not help people in a faction where he views them as below him? By your logic Phil would treat Kat like a kid because he treated Pandalee like a kid

I'll wait to see if anyone else can shed light on restaurants. I think in a way it is plausible.

He does treat Kat like he treated Pandalee minus Pandalee taking shots at him on stream. He wasn't helpful in any of the factions he was in, he was trying to flex his wallet and his "skill" at the game and of course he would continue doing that. I think you're trying to stitch together strands of logic that don't flow together here to be devils advocate.

It's true that you can use Line for anything, but it's also true that Phil would only use Line for communicating with gacha guilds. It's not like he has friends or is a weeb.
 
Just to add on to the "how do you know I didn't change my number?" It costs money to change your mobile phone number. Any major carrier charges around 40 to 50 to do it. I also seem to recall wingz crying about having to change his number less than a year ago after it got leaked, and him saying something like 70 bucks. Thats off the top of my head, so pardon if it's incorrect. And while he wouldn't want to announce publicly that he got a new number, he would 100% cry about the fee to change it, and thats not even debatable. Judging from what we know due to the bankruptcy, this piece of shit isn't spending money on anything but the bare minimum, unless of course its for mobile games, statue's, food, junk, etc. Which also means he ain't spending 50 bucks (or more), plus go through the hassle of calling the mobile carrier and taking the time to do it (especially when he has important champions business meetings to attend via the line app).

Somebody also pointed out upthread that he just recently admitted to having the same number after he went shopping for an alarm clock (expensive I'm sure). This was like 2 or 3 months ago. Get fucked, 🐖

You're either saying he still plays casually or once played but just forgot. I'm saying a guy who can't even be arsed to upgrade to direct capture even having an account shows he was/is serious about the game so that eliminates the phil is a casual theories. This app is supposedly a big deal in game so the theories he is hardcore but forgot about it doesn't seem all too likely either. What other possibilities are you thinking of?
