Since it's obvious Phil has learned fuck all from filing for Ch 7 earlier this year given that he's still spending like a madman, what will happen when he inevitably gets into another $500 grand debt, but can't file another Ch 7 since the first one hasn't expired? Will Ch 13 still be an option, and/or will he be branded a bank bitch that'll basically never be allowed to retire?
debtors eat him alive until the 7 years are up

He will beg until he can't beg no more.

In the 1.5 years I've been following Phil I've always used him and detractor content as background noise. Luckily in all that time I never really paid any attention to his face, until a few weeks back when the stroke speculation resurfaced again in the main thread.

Holy fuck does the right side of his mouth look just completely paralyzed. In this clip when he faces the camera it looks like he just straight up rolled out of the dentist office with how swollen his right side looks. The only thing preventing his mouth from completely sliding off are the fat reserves in his cheeks. Stashing some delicious nut in there for winter, Philip?

Part of me was hoping the gravy train would come to a halt with the bankruptcy and the WWE arc coinciding, but seeing Phil's health issues manifest on stream is a whole other treat for us to enjoy.

so the wwe 2k battlegrounds game is coming out soon, and dave will be playing it

it's 2k, so it's gonna be packed with mtx, there could be some cross-over whaling

i'm more interested in his body language when he goes through the mtx store, cause he'll no doubt pretend to be against it

Pigroach luck will result in Trump announcing bankruptcy forgiveness for Covid related issues, and despite not qualifying, as Phil filed much too early for that, he'll manage to get it just like he managed to get chapter 7 without qualifying. At this point, he will be free to file again immediately.

You son of a bitch, if this happens I'm blaming you!

From what I can tell there is no grace period on filing Chapter 13 so long as he comes in under certain limits on debt and takes another debtor's education class. He could even file today if he really wanted. The million dollar question is whether a Chapter 13 trustee would let him get away with perjury:

United States Bankruptcy Code said:
The plan need not pay unsecured claims in full as long it provides that the debtor will pay all projected "disposable income" over an "applicable commitment period," and as long as unsecured creditors receive at least as much under the plan as they would receive if the debtor's assets were liquidated under chapter 7.

[...]

If the debtor operates a business, the definition of disposable income excludes those amounts which are necessary for ordinary operating expenses

The takeaway here is that Phil could do the same thing he did with Nancy and exempt everything from creditors by calling it a business or living expense, and the installment plan would be limited to a very small amount of his income. I think he's ballsy and stupid enough to try this in the near/intermediate term (or another Chapter 7 in about ten years) but I don't have a good sense of how lucky he got with Nancy and the banks this time around or how strict Chapter 13 is. Other posters in the bankruptcy thread commented that Chapter 13 is even more unpleasant than wholesale liquidation but few or none of us thought he'd get a clean Chapter 7 either.

And to your last point, he has only about $130,000 to his name and it's all home equity. That's a very small amount for his age/income and given his spending habits + shortsightedness he will probably never be able to retire. Even if he really cut back in the coming years it'd be tough for him to retire before his mid/late 60s.

You're also assuming he wants to retire-he might hate dealing with us dang dirty trolls and generally being more radioactive than plutonium, but his inability to stay away from internet slapfights (for fuck's sake he argued with us on his wedding night!) makes me think he'll stay "active" enough that he can keep drama/attention whoring until he dies.

I don't feel like DSP could get hooked on something like WWE Battlegrounds, though it is WWE-related.

I've always felt like DSP spends so much on WWE Champions because it is a mobile game. You can pay to be the best in WWE Champions with minimal effort required - there's no actual competitive aspects of the videogame other than the bank accounts competing with each other, if you want to count that. I don't know much about WWE Battlegrounds but it at least looks somewhat like an actual videogame, so Phil can't just pay to be the best in it - he'll have to actually play the thing too which means he might get outplayed by someone else.

WWE Battlegrounds is too close to a videogame to allow Phil to win by just throwing money at it, so he won't bother. He hates videogames - he just likes winning.

He likes to play WWE Champions because when he spends quality time with his wife they both sit there, Kat playing Switch and Phil on his phone, while African tribal music plays on their wireless speakers and the televison plays Animal documentaries.
