So I've received an angry DM from Mora for sharing the conversation (I genuinely thought that it was interesting), and in it he answered some of your posts.

Timezone is UK for me BTW.

God, I hate smug people like that who have this mightier than thou attitude.

You're not smarter than anyone for suspending judgement about something that has insurmountably more evidence for one side than for the other, Moria. That's not being smart, it's wishful thinking.

Probably read Popper once and now acts like this. Guess what, dipshit: no one can absolutely 100% prove that it's Phil, NOT EVEN PHIL!

Because even if he himself said that it was him, you could still create more obstacles to oppose the fact that it's him, e.g. "but what if he said that to troll the trolls?", "what if he was threatened and had to admit to something that's not true?" etc.

. He could have said that he was an old fan who copied the name, he could have claimed to be a "troll", and, if I was telling him what to say, he should have said that he was a fan or just some nobody who bought Phil's account
Tied to your apple id / google stuff, cannot be transferred by any means unless you actually sell your phone with your personal info intact.
Otherwise fair point and also phil just said the other day that "he's a normal person with friends and family" or something, I forget exact quote and don't wanna listen to phil again;
12:50 onwards if I messed up the timestamp.

Re: Moria; Pignosis has really messed them up, they have turned into a miniphil, deflecting arguments and never addressing them properly. Like my example of why not use occam's razor; In case Moria is still reading here then this is for you since not sure if you got what I meant:
Suppose there exist two explanations for an occurrence. In this case the one that requires the smallest number of assumptions is usually correct. Another way of saying it is that the more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation.

Phil or some troll. which requires less assumptions, I suppose one could pigsplain that assuming it's phil without busting him with some IRL recording of literally him playing it with today's newspaper in hand or some shit is not enough evidence; but the troll explanation requires so much more assumptions by this point.

I think one of my favorite parts of this whole arc is just how uncaring phil actually is in all this, assuming it’s him(it is)

like this shit got found out and brought to his attention, and he couldn’t be bothered to try and vary is login times, he was still getting on pretty much after every night stream, his guild got doxxed so he just leaves and joins another one immediately putting them in the crossfire, he makes his own guild in the 25-30 minute window of one of his breaks.

this might honestly be darks biggest chad move since cucking kats ex, like this man knows this shit isn’t gonna cost him any significant paypigs so he just didn’t give a shit lmao. He got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and just flipped us the bird and kept stuffing his face.

Like when this shit first happened people were like “well know that he knows we know he can just do something to raise doubt” imagine being a Buffon and thinking phil would put effort into something like that, he just keeps going to the point you think “maybe this isn’t phil because now it just looks so blatently obvious it’s him...no normal person would keep incriminating themselves this much...”

And the best part is if you actually suspect this is some big brained troll spending money to this degree and lining up his schedule to this level, you gotta think that after this shit was made public the troll would’ve had to basically make the concise decision that “okay now that they know about the account I should do stuff to make it look like phil is trying to throw them off his trail....oh wait no Phil’s a lazy loser he wouldn’t give a fuck, I’ve just gotta keep doing the same”

Dsp might’ve been what the joker was referring to in the dark knight when he was talking about an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object. I can only imagine how many wacky hijinks it would take from the joker to actually get phil off his couch and do something to stop him, the world may never know.

We can try to make all the justifications as to how this could be fake, but I think that the nail in this coffin ironically came when it was first found. I can think of multiple ways that Phil could have faked it at the start that would have created enough doubt to keep us running in circles. He could have said that he was an old fan who copied the name, he could have claimed to be a "troll", and, if I was telling him what to say, he should have said that he was a fan or just some nobody who bought Phil's account after Phil realized how much he'd been sucked in and Kat snapping him out of it. Phil even could have brought it up on stream when someone confronted him the next day. He could have "admit" to spending a few hundred to a couple thousand in mobile games like this when he was depressed, tell the paypigs an inspiring story of how your soulmate made you realize how bad things were, implicitly blame Leanna without saying her name and tell them how you made a responsible financial decision and sold it to get your money back. Brag about how you actually made money if you want to go full Phil. Tell them you never mentioned it before because it was a private issue, you were a little ashamed, "and you guys know I don't like to talk about my behind the scenes financial shit if I don't have to. We're here to game and be positive, dood!" We'd all smell a rat immediately but what could we honestly do to disprove that? Every new purchase would have a ready made explanation and we'd be the bad guys for harassing some random dude online.

But he had to pretend he had no idea who the streamer DSP was, how this was all a coincidence and then deny it on stream. That one split second, dumb lie which is so Phil doomed him so every piece of evidence only made it more and more obvious who it really was.

Best of all, if he had literally one IRL friend, he could have killed this by taking a picture of them with a piece of paper saying they were "TheyCallMeDSP" and sending it to his guild day one. No one there would have cared after that: they'd have their plausible deniability and they'd happily keep taking his cash. This is the perfect DSP story because it encompasses everything about Phil and why he is his own worst enemy.
Exactly. Not only has he acted exactly like DSP would and never cared to provide even the slightest shroud of evidence to the contrary from the very first days of accusation, he kept on providing absolutely nothing. In everyone's normal human mind would a switch make CLICK when the water boils dangerously hot and he provides some simple proof.
But just in Phil-style he couldn't provide anything till it was too late and stil came up with nothing, not even a fake. Phil would say: "I can't proof anything, detractors wouldn't believe me anyway." and this might be true in this case because when you can create one flake of proof you can also provide a better one. And there is a limit to how much you can fake, even Phil knows this.

He fucked it up from the beginning by calling himself DSP. All for the sake of meaningless recognition, which bites him right back in his curled bacon tail.

Exactly man. Phil won’t prove the account isn’t his. The player won’t prove he’s not phil despite having detractors making his life hell in game. How much clearer does this shit need to be?

So, just for example, these were most of the things I found you can spend actual cash on instantly in wwe champions.
Sorry for the currency but in any case.
It's easy to see how our little paypig can spend a ton of money on this shit. The most predatory gacha out there? Quite possibly.

They also have special limited time 1 purchase only deals that pop up only after you purchase a full-price lootbox.

Also I'm not gonna lie, I'm really enjoying Moria's theory that someone scoured all Phil's social media posts to the point they're able to consistently type messages 98 to 99% like him, and they have some kind of autistic cheat-sheet next to them of all Phil's idiosyncratic typing tells and favored word use and structure because imagining said cheat-sheet is cracking me up
  • type 'lol' at the end of every message
  • Capitalize random words so people understand you meant them LOUDER! For example type 'lol' as 'LOL' if you really want people to believe you laughed
  • Always type 'because' as 'bc'
  • Never add the apostrophe to almost everything
  • Periodically say variations of 'Well Im boned"
  • Periodically say 'Idiots spamming me', especially if it was like 2 messages
  • and on and on and on and never once broke style

Damn it, this is wrestling. You have to stay in character at all times.

Phil doesn't understand that this wwe champions saga is never going to end until he admits everything. It's been months of this shit now and the trolling hasn't slowed down but gotten more intense. Just look at the fucking wwe champions twitter account now, lmao.

He thinks he can just ignore it and it'll go away. Sorry Phil, not that easy.

Im at work so i cant do the math, but is it possible he spent more money on yhis game then during his whole lets player carrier? Games, consoles, subs.

If you only count things post getting fired from the helicopter plant, yes. He has spent $40,000 and counting on Champions and even my very high estimates for how much he's spent on vidya come out to $38,000 and change. Obviously there's large error bars on both of these numbers but I rounded up his vidya costs so much that the real difference (as in, the excess he's paid on Champions) is probably much higher. Once you include his other wrasslin' money sinks the difference is almost definitely in the 5 figures.

* If we say one new ($60) game/2 weeks, that is $14,820 (the 9.5 years since he left the helicopter plant). The one/2 weeks is kind of arbitrary but it makes up for long LPs and replays he does in slow release months. Even if we say one/week that goes up to about $35,000
* Consoles: Not counting consoles before he started full time streaming he's bought a PS4 ($400), Xbox One ($500), WiiU ($350), a Switch ($300) , 3DS ($249), and PS Vita ($249) for a total of $2,050. I am not counting replacement consoles or controllers because that's his own fault and the PS4 Pro was strictly optional.
* Subscriptions: PS Plus and XBox live at $60 each for 9.5 years = $1,140.

Dave has bought a shit load of vidja games. Generously assuming he's spent about 10k on consoles, subs, and gear in his career, 30k would buy a brand new $60 game each week for about 9 years. That's not counting when he would trade in vidja games for gamestop store credit though, so I'm going to say he probably has spent more on WWE than his business overall or it's at least on par.

Also to the general discussion, the WWE account is definitely Dave. Why else would he refuse to try to prove to anyone else who he is? If someone had spent 40K on a vidja game and then is getting ousted from the community in that game because of a mistaken identity, the thing to do would be to prove they're not the person everyone thinks they are. But nope, never heard of this DSP guy doods, just happen to have the same very specific name as him for no reason. At least Phil was smart enough to not go the Chris Chan route where he would make an alt and then be like "by the way, have you ever heard of this cool comic Sonichu?"

@actually @agent proper @LyteSydeByll @SoapQueen1
Have you made, or know of anyone else, who has made a video breaking down the evidence piece by piece? Something that someone who isn’t very familiar with dsp autism could follow? I know Rekita is going to go over it on his stream but I feel that it’s be very beneficial to have in a video format and just lay everything out, piece by piece, in chronological order and explain what it is, what it’s important and how it links back to him. Something that doesn’t have clips of dsp jerking of, no “WHY AM I TOXIC”, no funny editing, no name calling or dsp/internet specific slang, or YouTube comments- literally just the bare bones facts.

I’m not suggesting anyone send something like that to Nancy, but I think it would be something that she’d be interested in and would help her follow along and understand what’s going on. I also think the “just the facts no poking fun” approach will get through to people who are (donating) fans in ways this thread hasn’t or won’t. As if this writing its 146 pages (and can add as many as 2-3 pages a day if something happens) and the way people talk about the situation can be confusing.

I tagged you guys bc you’re the ones who seem to either be on the up and up on everything, or you’re making videos that I’m aware of. Anyone else is more than welcome to jump in and answer or make something or whatever. Just a thought.
Edit/ think I got a name wrong- it’s @Proper Pangolin. Sorry about that friend.

He thinks he can just ignore it and it'll go away. Sorry Phil, not that easy.
He's not going to admit it until it starts hurting him financially. He could care less what is rumored as long as he keeps the tips flowing in. If the big whales stopped tipping and demanded that Phil come clean, he probably would. And he would use the "that was my depression" angle to get pity bucks. He still would not admit fault, he'd just say he was a victim in all of this.

The most believable part about all this, for me personally, is the missing puzzle piece that Phil has a giant black hole where money seemed to disappear and was never understood. Imagine if we hadn't known about this and we saw his bankruptcy filing. There would be endless speculation about where his money went, probably thinking he's dumping it into an offshore account or has a serious drug problem. The revelation about WWE Champions explains is enormous debt while having a huge income perfectly, because Phil sure hasn't explained where all that money went over the years.

In the infinitesimal chance somehow this isn't the gouty one, I would like to know what fucking idiot has dropped $40k plus on a shitty mobile game.
Over the course of ten years the value of all my xbox 360/xboner games is about $16,000 and lots of them were games with Gold, won through sweeps or sometimes even free because I applied to beta test .
My 3ds games maybe $300 but I sold them back when done.
(Fuck Onrush, by the way. Even free it was shit).

If it's someone else they may deserve a thread or at least a few pages on Obscure laughingstocks.
You have something tangible. You can replay your games. Or you could say eff it and sell everything and come away with something. Phil has absolutely nothing of value. I guess he could sell his account but even that is against the end-user agreement. The real fuckery is that if he doesn’t spend more and more every month, his roster won’t keep pace with newer wrestlers. Again, Scopely has one hell of a business model.

What confirms it for me is that this "theycallmedsp" totally not DSP guy has not proven his innocence. As someone mentioned pages ago, if you believe that its not Phil (yeah right) then you believe there are 2 that can prove it fake. Its not just phil, in that case the other guy would be very motivated to film some kind of proof or do literally ANYTHING to prove they arent DSP. (especially now that they lost their 40k account basically since they cant join a guild)

But it is DSP, so such proof is never coming, and at this point if it does come, its going to be some gay op that phil does with a mod or something that will end up getting caught so that will be fun anyways.

The lack of a faction saga 99.9999% confirms it's Phil because anyone whaling this hard would be panicking proving they're not Phil. If not, this is the biggest loser A-log x10000 troll at this point.

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread and it's an incredibly good point. Even if this is a troll, they spend 40k+ dollars in the game, once they start getting removed from guilds and have the game ruined for them (Guilds are the entire point of the high level game based on what people in this thread have said), then they'd probably just admit they aren't DSP and prove it with a timestamped selfie. Especially when people around them are getting doxxed and friendships lost.

This is why I asked what level of proof the pay pigs would accept - numerous pieces of circumstancial evidence is sometimes more damning than forced evidence.

Finding a username that Phil openly uses, that is only active during Phil's breaks, on a game we know he has played in the past from his own admissions. He's in a discord server with his guild when we know he has discord installed on his computer and he has stated on stream that mobile games are addictive and predatory and he knows the inner workings of how it works. Phil certainly has the income to whale this hard too, so that doesn't rule him out. And postings on a discord he never knew would be discovered match the lexical choices and sentence structure of his known tweets.

Now that's without the smoking gun of screenshots 'proving' the person in the guild discord and in Phil's 'definitely doesn't exist' mod discord. If screenshots can be faked then any proof 'TheyCallMeDSP' might offer of a photo of 'him' holding a sign saying 'I am not Phil Burnell' could easily be scrutinised. If you aren't willing to believe all the small pieces of circumstancial evidence then you sure as fuck shouldn't believe that Phil wouldn't pay some twat on the internet $10 to cover his ass with a photo. Didn't PewDiePie pay some Indian boys to say they hate Jews?

What would be concrete proof either way? Can scrutinise pretty much anything presented.

I honestly can't believe people are still debating if this is Phil.

1) Spending tens of thousands of dollars using someone's screen name does not "troll" them. Doing so in secrecy (remember, this was discovered by someone here) is not how you "troll" someone. You don't spend $40,000 in secrecy to "troll".
2) As documented earlier in the thread, the account is used when Phil signs off from his streams. Happened many, many times.
3) The wording of all of those comments from WWE Champions DSP using the same language he does in his tweets, documented many times earlier in the thread.
4) Phil refuting any of the accusations about mobile games by calling them "nonsense" and "detractor memes" the way he did the bankruptcy, so he can weasel his way into admitting it later if need be, still doing so right up to today.
5) The various comments from "off the record" people in Phil's faction that he was a big spender who helped no one else.
6) When the guy's status in his faction is threatened and all he has to do is prove he's not Phil, he....is banished from the faction rather than prove it, throwing away all he "gained" from the money he's pissed away playing the game.

It's Phil!

People have also forgotten that if it was a troll, not only do they have to dedicate months of time, $10,000's but they also have to spend the correct amount that matches Phils bankruptcy filing...

We know his expenses now, they are listed and public. A guy who makes $130k a year should not be in this mess and his expenses for his business make zero sense at all unless he's spending several $1000's per month on something his tax attorney can write off but also something we don't see on stream, like a mobile gaming addiction.

We can also use his schedule to calculate how much he's spent on games over the last year and see there is a rather large black hole of money eating oily jpegs. We know he's not spent any money upgrading his stream and this isn't even taking gifts and things paypigs bought him into account.

The dude is a straight up classic gambling addict. He's talked about mobile game addiction, he's admitted to playing the game on stream (but won't share his username/account), he's admitted to spending money on mobile games, his other IGN's have been found that show massive spending on other games, his discord ID matched up, writing style came back as a match...

The only way anyone can believe it's a troll at this point is their own massive bias to DSP and his related scams. All DSP has to do to make Kiwi Farms detractors look dumb as fuck and lose ALL credibility is open WWE Champions and put his screen towards the camera. Instead we have childish/poor acting from Phil and twisted accusations like "THEY SAY I SPENT $140K ON A MOBILE GAME, FUCKING MORONS" which no one claimed or said...

The guy is done, Nancy will find this. 17 years in the bankruptcy business... It will be public soon enough.

It'll be interesting for sure. Even I'm extremely curious about it at this point, I really do want to know where all the money is going. It makes absolutely no sense. Everything being a business expense is bad enough, but even if they're all lies, I want to know his bullshit reasoning.

"THEY SAY I SPENT $140K ON A MOBILE GAME, FUCKING MORONS" which no one claimed or said...

Phil always talks about They/People as if these conversations are even taking place. But we all know for a fact they're not. Every piece of bullshit he has ever said has been thrown someone that doesn't exist "every time people say "phil you should play this", I do it, and then they complain" , and "people always ask me", "people wanted this", "people don't like that".
