I was sort of on the fence. If you held a gun to my head I'd guess it was him. But with all the evidence coming in these past couple months I'm now firmly on the believer side. And I would feel very comfortable betting like 100 bucks if you wanted to quantify it. Everything lines up and all signs just happen to point in one direction with nothing really pointing the other way. The hypothetical frameup artist has made no mistakes we know of in any of the pieces he sends up. In just the previous page theres another screenshot of his supercard account showing indeed he has history when it comes to mobile addiction. Just another log on the fire pointing one way. The strongest counterargument I can think of is we don't yet have undeniable video footage of him playing that 'he can't be THIS stupid right?' And we all know how well that turns out when it comes to phil.

Am I mistaken? Are there other strong reasons to doubt this?
This is your brownie epiphany?

The problem is that Champions has very expensive pulls. So instead of $5 a shot, you’re talking $49 or more. It’s really easy to blow big bucks at that rate, I thought Dave was some anomalous outlier when autism and addiction intertwined with financial exceptionalism, but then you discover that there are multiple guilds with multiple members who spend like Phil. Scopely has one hell of a business model.
What the fuck! People are paying what could be a full videogame per pull for this shitty bejewled clone? Guess it shouldn't be shocking seeing what people spend on Phil, and streamers in general, but still.

How many times has this guy bitched and moaned about spending $60 on a game when he will unquestionably get that money back first stream, probably before the games even booted up? Even more evidence Phil and his fans are exactly alike. They'd rather toss money into a bottomless pit then use it for themselves.

Lets be real here even other whales aren't (mostly) spending like Phil.

You can see the drop off on leaderboards for these kinda games where the hardcore elite are a shitton of points above everyone else.

Even guilds dont usually require thousands of dollars whaling. I'm sure that mole we had hasnt spent Phil bucks.

Phil is the moby dick of whales, even people that spend money on gacha make fun of dumbasses like him.

The only reason Phil spends like this is because he HAS to be #1 for every event and grinding is too hard. Phil gets out-grinded whenever those events came up that weren't strictly p2w if I understood our inside guy right.

WWE Champions factions are 100 people, so you don't need to whale even 1% of what Phil does to get in a good one.

The funny thing is as much as Phil spends, he's never come close to winning an event. I think his highest was 4th (lol, good meme there). Even in WWE Champions where success is based entirely on spending money and having no life, Phil can't win.

What’s the point for the long-con troll argument here? What does the person who’s going through tens of thousands of dollars to immaculately impersonate Phil get out of this?

To have a thread of him made in the Farms? A couple of detractor videos on YT that never break 10k views on average? The inevitable “haha gotcha fags” moment? I know using logic and reason to resolve this question probably isn’t the best course of action but the time and money investment for such a whimpering outcome is what makes no sense.

If you wanted to troll Phil, you don’t need to spend that amount of money. It’s unnecessary and unless this person is obsessed with being talked about on KF, it just makes no sense.

The only one I can think of is the Escort Saga. If you relayed that from beginning to end to a normie I guarantee you they'd be staggered that such a thing just to happened to have involved a cow like Phil, and whole swaths of the site wanted it to be true, either because people knew Phil really was Ground Zero for that much autism, that he'd really do something like that, just that it'd be funny, or some combination thereof.

I always thought it was bullshit because the idea that a prostitute lets you run up a tab is ludicrous on its face.

It really did put on display the lengths to which some people would go to fuck with Phil, even if the Brongstreets might not have necessarily known the measure of the man they had in their crosshairs. It's anecdotal, yes, but it's the best example I can think of to show that yes, some people really are that insane.
The thing is with the escort saga, they were trying to extort money from Phil. This is, playing devil's advocate and actually believing it's a troll, spending tens of thousands to... make Phil look incompetent with money? You can do that without spending anything by just taking clips from his streams. Hell, you can make money by uploading the clips to youtube.

So I've received an angry DM from Mora for sharing the conversation (I genuinely thought that it was interesting), and in it he answered some of your posts.

Timezone is UK for me BTW.

There is no way any woman let's someone like Phil use her vag on contingency, and certainly not for "le epik trolling".

Any posts here about some long term troll I just assume are people just being contrarian and not actually serious posts since the amount of evidence is absolutely unreal at this point. I can understand his paypigs having doubts just because they can't cope with the idea they are funding some WWE bejeweled whaling but anyone else is just being disingenuous at this point.

The idea of a troll when this was first revealed was maybe viable for a week at best but once login times, typing style, and tons of other stuff started matching 100% it should've been dismissed quickly. This is nothing like the escort saga and the evidence in this case goes far beyond a few pictures of dildos and hair.

In the infinitesimal chance somehow this isn't the gouty one, I would like to know what fucking idiot has dropped $40k plus on a shitty mobile game.
Over the course of ten years the value of all my xbox 360/xboner games is about $16,000 and lots of them were games with Gold, won through sweeps or sometimes even free because I applied to beta test .
My 3ds games maybe $300 but I sold them back when done.
(Fuck Onrush, by the way. Even free it was shit).

If it's someone else they may deserve a thread or at least a few pages on Obscure laughingstocks.

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread and it's an incredibly good point. Even if this is a troll, they spend 40k+ dollars in the game, once they start getting removed from guilds and have the game ruined for them (Guilds are the entire point of the high level game based on what people in this thread have said), then they'd probably just admit they aren't DSP and prove it with a timestamped selfie. Especially when people around them are getting doxxed and friendships lost.
When you're at the point where your guild leader is getting his and his wifes pictures posted along with his dox and the guild leader wants you to prove you aren't Phil Burnell, like you said you weren't, so the headache goes away or he'll kick you out and you still won't take the simplest step to prove you aren't Phil Burnell. . .like if they weren't Phil and could have made all this stop easily but instead just said 'nuthin' I could do', let everyone get fucked over, and ended up in a clan of 1 too paranoid to let anyone join. . .
It's Phil

For me there was no “one thing” anyone showed me that it made me think it was absolutely him. What got me was, strangely, something i thought while falling asleep:
No troll, literally, no troll is this patient. To sit and create such an obvious account and put so much time, $, and effort into it to just what..? Hope at some point it’s discovered? How? Phil gets a lot of shit and a lot of ppl dont like him but there’s what? Maybe a few thousand people who really dislike him? Do they dislike him to the point of spending 10s of thousands of dollars? Im 100% unsurprised someone could copy his writing style, people here do it frequently and even in a mocking manner it’s passable. So what do we have left? Either the troll of the century- who copied phil exactly and has the patience of a saint- and it totally willing to put absolutely anything and everything into this with *no pay off whatsoever*, or it’s Phil.
Investigating trolling is like investigating a murder: look who found the “body”, in this case the account. In almost every case of even master trolling the person who brings it forward is the person that’s closely involved. Not 100% of the time, but usually. If not we’re left to believe someone put all this time and effort in for possibly no payout whatsoever. They’re patient enough to set this account up- with all the fixings- and just wait.
How plausible does this sound? I’m not trying to convince you, I don’t have a dog in this fight and I’m here to laugh, but this is something I’ve seen mentioned and I don’t feel it’s too awful to repeat it for the skeptics. Also not saying you don’t believe, just giving food for thought/

Thus proving Moria frequents Kiwifarms.

Since they choose to visit here all the time, they must have stumbled across some more circumstantial evidence. You know, like that official petition for chapter 7 bankruptcy. If this person is actually trying to consider hard evidence against Phil, they should do some self reflecting. I suggest they ask themselves if they make over $100,000 a year. Perhaps follow up with questioning if they've filed for bankruptcy as of late. I have no proof, but I assume the answer to these questions is "no". What the world has proof of is Phil's income and his debt written on his petition. Those documents show that, despite having more than enough income for two people to happily live on, he has neglected to repay those who extended credit to him based on his salary.

As others have already stated: it's far too late for Moria. They've been pig-pilled into oblivion.

Sometimes people don't want to dig too deep in the fear of discovering that they were wrong.

If his fans want to support him it's the risk they choose to take. Fools and their money are easily parted.

So, just for example, these were most of the things I found you can spend actual cash on instantly in wwe champions.
Sorry for the currency but in any case.
It's easy to see how our little paypig can spend a ton of money on this shit. The most predatory gacha out there? Quite possibly.

We can try to make all the justifications as to how this could be fake, but I think that the nail in this coffin ironically came when it was first found. I can think of multiple ways that Phil could have faked it at the start that would have created enough doubt to keep us running in circles. He could have said that he was an old fan who copied the name, he could have claimed to be a "troll", and, if I was telling him what to say, he should have said that he was a fan or just some nobody who bought Phil's account after Phil realized how much he'd been sucked in and Kat snapping him out of it. Phil even could have brought it up on stream when someone confronted him the next day. He could have "admit" to spending a few hundred to a couple thousand in mobile games like this when he was depressed, tell the paypigs an inspiring story of how your soulmate made you realize how bad things were, implicitly blame Leanna without saying her name and tell them how you made a responsible financial decision and sold it to get your money back. Brag about how you actually made money if you want to go full Phil. Tell them you never mentioned it before because it was a private issue, you were a little ashamed, "and you guys know I don't like to talk about my behind the scenes financial shit if I don't have to. We're here to game and be positive, dood!" We'd all smell a rat immediately but what could we honestly do to disprove that? Every new purchase would have a ready made explanation and we'd be the bad guys for harassing some random dude online.

But he had to pretend he had no idea who the streamer DSP was, how this was all a coincidence and then deny it on stream. That one split second, dumb lie which is so Phil doomed him so every piece of evidence only made it more and more obvious who it really was.

Best of all, if he had literally one IRL friend, he could have killed this by taking a picture of them with a piece of paper saying they were "TheyCallMeDSP" and sending it to his guild day one. No one there would have cared after that: they'd have their plausible deniability and they'd happily keep taking his cash. This is the perfect DSP story because it encompasses everything about Phil and why he is his own worst enemy.
