Had an interesting discussion with a DSP fan about this, thought I'd share. They appear to be keeping very skeptical, probably more leaning towards troll than it being Phil, about this. Think that they'll be surprised what they find out about the supercard saga. Screenshot_20200426-231556_Twitter.jpg

I've seen that guy's posts on Phil's forum for months.
He honestly does not strike me as a good-faith actor at all. He's more like a debate hobbyist.

My point was more the reenactors not collectors. Its a pretty expensive hobby for people that take it 'seriously' and if you step back and think about it standing around in a field all weekend with your mosin or whatever the fuck in rural kentucky is nerdy af.

Basically there's a bunch of dumbasses with dumbass hobbies they drop some serious money on that'd make anyone who doesnt get it go 'what the fuck, dude'.

Of course I meant in general, by the time you spend 40k on any nerd shit you have a serious problem.

Theres a lot of stupid hobbies out there but most are comfortably less pathetic than spending 50K on oily jpegs.

Ask them what evidence they would even consider being worthy of putting this to bed - there is irrefutably more proof it's him than not - and they sound a little too hopeful it's a troll, remarkably flippant about the level of fucking exceptionalism it takes to believe someone is playing a LONG con of this magnitude to 'frame' Phil. Like $45k+ worth of time, money and effort?

What does a troll gain by framing Phil? Fuck all. $45k spent to say 'hey Phil has spent lots of money on a game, let's point and laugh at how dumb that is'

I can't even imagine what level of proof they would need to believe it's Phil, they've been blue pilled to the extreme. Nothing will wake these kids up - if their level of proof requires Phil to come clean or show his account then forget about it.

They seem to be ignoring the multiple times DSP has explicitly lied on streams about ever playing WWE Champions and when he stopped playing mobile games, which is provable with old stream clips and throws out any claim DSP makes, frankly.

Then again, they don't seem to give a shit that DSP has lied about how poor he is before to the point where he said he was too poor to own a cat several times while owning a cat. If that isn't enough to make someone at least require proof for someones claims first then they're wilfully deluded.

This faggot makes some of the most exceptionally deluded fanart for Phil. It’s like he has 24/7 beer goggles on when he draws Phil.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste much time for Moria. That person strikes me as someone who bottles their own farts for vaping at a precise temperature and time of heating.

There is likely no amount of evidence that would "convince" that kid. You could post a video where you hack Phil's phone in real-time and show it's Phil and he'd say "Videos can be faked, I could easily make that, and if it's real then that's illegal and that evidence is thus invalid unless you'd like to argue that evidence from criminals is trustworthy." It's never about what's being talked about with that kid, it's all about him stringing words together to prove to himself you aren't as smart as him because you left points that he can pretend sink your boat because he poked a verbal hole in it. There's a reason he hitched his brand of pedantic assholery up to Mr 'I did everything correct' King of the gaslighting semantic narc-defense.

On another note, at this point there is literally no evidence that would cause Phil to do anything other than deny, avoid, and attack because he absolutely cannot admit this is him durring his bankruptcy. It is still hilarious to hear him try to deny and avoid it, but the only thing that would get him to admit it whatsoever is the bankruptcy court ramming a horse-cock strap-on into him about it.

If Moria is skeptical, that only leaves the super retards like Sidella who aren't capable of understanding what WWE Champions is. (S)he's one of his biggest fantards that won't listen to anything questioning Phil.

"No party/side has anything at this point."

I like that the "troll" theory is put side by side with the "phil" theory for ease of comparison. I guess Moria chooses to look over the simplest and best explanation to favor one that's much more absurd and complex. As others have already said, spending any amount of energy on this person is a waste of time. They'll need nothing short of a written confession with the pig's signature hoof print and KOH wax seal.

The part that sticks out to me is when this person said that it could be a troll "just playing moble games like a normal person." I don't think a "normal oerson" is in for tens of thousands. Just saying...

That being said, you can only save the savable.

The pignosis is real holy hell.
And if that person is some pseudointellectual why not ask them about occam's razor and applying it sometimes.

And in any case Phil could any moment prove it by showing what happens if he downloads and opens wwe champions on his phone.
I dl it earlier to check if his guild is joinable and it popped me into my old account that I haven't used in couple of years instantly.

I play mobile games a lot during travels etc but never spent over $5 on any of them and even that is only if it gets me something actually useful/cool instead of just pay2play or pay2win shit. Currently playing some korean gacha that just keeps giving me shit for free.

This whole saga is very interesting to me. I have a tendency to go a little overboard sometimes with mobile games or whatever, but never to these levels. I'd certainly never be called a whale.

I used to play a mobile card game called Transformers Legends, and at first it was mostly because I really liked the artwork on the cards. There really wasn't anything to the "game" itself. I don't understand this WWE game but people keep saying it's like bejeweled. TFL was just about assembling a deck with cards from the current event, basically, because those cards had event multipliers on them so they did more "damage" to the other person (in PvP events) or the boss (in PvE events). You'd spend your resources to level up the cards. There were I think 3 different types of resources and each event would switch the rewards so that if you played smart, you could stock up for an event with cards you actually liked.

I was a follower of the community where they discussed "strategies," but there was a lot of hate directed at whales. Whales would come in every week, spend hundreds of dollars to get the best cards and resources to level them super quickly, then spend all day every day earning "points." So every week the leaderboard was dominated by people who played to win, and no normal player could ever place. Those top 100 or 1000 or whoever always got special rewards which included even more amazing cards to keep themselves on top. What's funny is some whales didn't even care about Transformers, they just found a mobile game they could whale and win on.

I did spend money occasionally if I really wanted a card, because I was obsessed for a few months with the game, occupying a lot of my time. Certain events that had a card of a character I really liked, I'd spend maybe, MAYBE 20 bucks. At most, I don't think I ever went above 40 to 50 dollars. I spent almost $500 total on Hearthstone when I played that, that includes the expansions at whatever, $19.99, or $29.99 whatever they were. But I never went broke doing it. And I knew where my hard limits were.

I know this post is all about me, and I don't write it intending to "power level," or anything. Just thought relating a story about being into mobile games and getting a little carried away with a little insight into the mindset and community atmosphere might be interesting to someone.

Phil has gone far beyond anything I could ever dream with this goofy shit though. I can't see any rational person without an addiction doing this. I got slightly enraptured by the sense of seeing people that would have really good decks or that were active in the community, and maybe beating them in an event or something, or just getting a card they couldn't get. A little competitive "ha! I beat you!" So that would drive the desire to push the button for another $4.99 to just go a little further... Just a bit more and I'll be in the top 1,000 and get that card... And I can show it off.

To no one. And a week later it's useless.

And then the whole game shut down, where I can't even still go look at my card collection anymore. I can still go look at the art, I know it's posted somewhere, but I don't remember which cards I actually had.

Anyway, if that's interesting to get some insight, cool. If it's annoying autistic power leveling, I'm sorry.

It's interesting to see the perspective of someone who was in it. I've dabbled in some mobile games but never ever spent a dime. I can easily see Phil getting hooked on this with that explanation, just 5 more here, just 20 more here, until he spends as much as he has. Though, I will say this is the worst I've felt about him. I've never felt bad for him really, this is the closest he's gotten to my sympathy. Addictions are serious business and I wouldn't wish them on anyone. Does he deserve it? it's hard to say yes, it's hard to say no.

But it is pretty easy to say it's funny.

The problem is that Champions has very expensive pulls. So instead of $5 a shot, you’re talking $49 or more. It’s really easy to blow big bucks at that rate, I thought Dave was some anomalous outlier when autism and addiction intertwined with financial exceptionalism, but then you discover that there are multiple guilds with multiple members who spend like Phil. Scopely has one hell of a business model.

I was sort of on the fence. If you held a gun to my head I'd guess it was him. But with all the evidence coming in these past couple months I'm now firmly on the believer side. And I would feel very comfortable betting like 100 bucks if you wanted to quantify it. Everything lines up and all signs just happen to point in one direction with nothing really pointing the other way. The hypothetical frameup artist has made no mistakes we know of in any of the pieces he sends up. In just the previous page theres another screenshot of his supercard account showing indeed he has history when it comes to mobile addiction. Just another log on the fire pointing one way. The strongest counterargument I can think of is we don't yet have undeniable video footage of him playing that 'he can't be THIS stupid right?' And we all know how well that turns out when it comes to phil.

Am I mistaken? Are there other strong reasons to doubt this?

The only one I can think of is the Escort Saga. If you relayed that from beginning to end to a normie I guarantee you they'd be staggered that such a thing just to happened to have involved a cow like Phil, and whole swaths of the site wanted it to be true, either because people knew Phil really was Ground Zero for that much autism, that he'd really do something like that, just that it'd be funny, or some combination thereof. It really did put on display the lengths to which some people would go to fuck with Phil, even if the Brongstreets might not have necessarily known the measure of the man they had in their crosshairs. It's anecdotal, yes, but it's the best example I can think of to show that yes, some people really are that insane.

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread and it's an incredibly good point. Even if this is a troll, they spend 40k+ dollars in the game, once they start getting removed from guilds and have the game ruined for them (Guilds are the entire point of the high level game based on what people in this thread have said), then they'd probably just admit they aren't DSP and prove it with a timestamped selfie. Especially when people around them are getting doxxed and friendships lost.

At least with the escort saga, the actors had no money invested and were aiming at extortion. If this were a troll, it would be like totaling your own car and saying DSP got in an accident (though actually that would be cheaper). It wouldn't affect him at all except making people "troll" him about his Corolla.
