This kinda got buried under all the doxing/Discord drama, but:

When you're a DSP whale/supporter, and you get laughed at by someone who dumps significant amounts of cash into jpegs of sweaty, oiled-up men in spandex shorts grabbing each other, I really think it's time to reconsider some of your life choices.

I wonder how Ma and Pa Burnell would feel if they knew they were paying for his wedding trip, bailing him out on back taxes, buying him air fryers, cat toys, set decorations, QVC turkeys and exercise equipment, and at the same time Phil was spending all his money on gatcha.

He gave them some half true stories about the tax attorney, internet trolls, and YouTube destroying his life.

I thought he said in order to get the $5k from his mom for taxes, he had to make a 10 year plan and follow through. I guess 'stop spending thousands of dollars on mobile games' wasn't part of the plan.

Or those civil/ww2 war reinactors knowing how dorky it all is if you stop and think about spending thousands of dollars on german soldier uniforms and rifles.

WW2 rifles and SMGs are dope as fuck though, and there is a big resale market for them, more of an investment than Gacha spending... not sure I follow your logic.

If you get less money for your replicas than what you spent on them its not an invesetment,if you want to collect something and you are worried about it losing value just collect gold coins or wine.

I'm not talking about replica's, legit waffen-stamped k98s and mp40's, Gewer's, MG42's, list goes on, only ever appreciate in value from what I've seen.

I don't think we agree on the facts.

No judgement on that though. I'm into a collectible miniature game myself. The difference is that the pieces maintain some value and can be resold. Phil can't do shit with his sweaty muscle man jpegs, and they don't maintain nearly the values that physical collectable games have. Plus real collectible games have strategy involved more than just tap, tap, tap, and whaling out money to stay on top. In my game we run pauper tournaments and common figures with good support can take out chase figures with proper strategy.
Honestly I don't even think it's necessarily the money investment that people find so funny. If Phil was raking in millions of dollars, I don't think anybody would really care about his WWE gambling mobile game addiction. It's the fact that even when he is bringing in a lot of cash, he's notoriously horrible with his finances and routinely makes terrible decisions with money (paying for his condo and house at the same time, moving out of the condo in the first place, etc) is going bankrupt and his "business" is slowly dying anyway.

The difference between you and phil is that even though I'm sure you enjoy collecting miniature figurines and are willing to put a decent bit of cash into it, you'd probably stop if you were literally going bankrupt or didn't have the funds to pay for it. Phil doesn't have that kind of willpower.

The market value goes up and down and it depends on what you have. A lot of my friends who do the reenacting thing for WW2 use some pretty banged up/not very valuable rifles for their reenactments but that's because they're actually getting together, building trenches and doing reenactments so the rifles can get pretty beat the fuck up. Now I personally think that, compared to sweaty pixels even the replica stuff has a lot more value as generally people who are into reenacting get together and have actual interactions.

Hell a few of my friends have been paid to be in small movie productions as background extras. Not to mention you're doing something that has actual history to it instead of just throwing your money away on a gacha game.

I wonder if any detractors have tipped off Nancy about this, she wont happy that's he omitted this stuff along with 10K+ he made in April
Detractors are flooding the WWE Champions Twitter with DSP memes. "Sources" have contacted Nancy about his personal electronics he lied about. I would be surprised if detractors have not tipped off Nancy to the WWE account.

If Phil really is spending all his money on WWE, which I believe he is, there will be a paper trail.

Phil will have a hard time weaseling an excuse to explain paying thousands of dollars a month to Scopely and only a few hundred to his creditors.

Oh , I would do a similar thing, not worth ruining a collectible when you just re-enact, anything that looks the part should work... I am not into the reenactment scene, but I do competitive shooting from time to time, and spending thousands on ww2 rifles is not laughed at in that community, you want to see how it holds up over the decades... kind of like what forgotten weapons / inrangetv does on youtube.

I don't care what it is you spend your money on, if you're 40k in you've most likely got some neat stuff or done some cool shit. DSP sits alone screaming at jpegs of wrestlers on his phone. Scopely will eventually pull the plug on Champions and Phil will have jack shit. Phil better be screenshotting his sweaty gacha men.

I've said it before. When DSP dies Kat will be left with basically nothing. She won't be able to afford the condo so she'll have to move out. She won't be able to afford the car so she'll have to sell it. Unless the bankruptcy goes through his creditors will take the rest of his shit for auction to get back SOME of what they're owed.

She'll get to keep the shit she brought in her cardboard box and that'll be it.

I guarantee they don't have a life insurance policy on each other, because they're fucking idiots.

He looks like total shit but she'll most likely be gone before he croaks. I at least hope she'll be, for her sake

My point was more the reenactors not collectors. Its a pretty expensive hobby for people that take it 'seriously' and if you step back and think about it standing around in a field all weekend with your mosin or whatever the fuck in rural kentucky is nerdy af.

Basically there's a bunch of dumbasses with dumbass hobbies they drop some serious money on that'd make anyone who doesnt get it go 'what the fuck, dude'.

Of course I meant in general, by the time you spend 40k on any nerd shit you have a serious problem.

Oh, OK, I misunderstood then.

Point of fact, I don't know what anyone would have a Mosin in Kentucky, recreating Americans in WW2, but, I'm just trolling.

Sorry.
