Considering how you need to really set up your decks with team synergy in mind to even think of getting far enough in the WT (which is a pvp mode for anyone that doesn't know), you need to get some really, astonishingly good pulls, and there are literal hundreds of cards, some with differences so quantifiably minute you'd spend probably a good half-hour just figuring out which is one better.

tl;dr considering Phil's laziness, I don't doubt he didn't drop money on Dokkan.

In their defence, unless they've actively gone searching and seen the screenshots on this thread, they wouldn't have any reason to put two and two together. The smoking gun is the screenshots from Phil's WWE discord having the same Avatar and number as Mod chat. If you've not seen the stuff only posted on here you can be blissfully ignorant without being malicious or thick as shit. Some people are happy not making their own minds up and don't enquire themselves.

I imagine given Phil's usual spiel about not going on detractor websites that his Mods mostly avoid this kind of place. And hey if you're a fan of his and don't want to go looking for dirt, they probably dismissed this whole thing when Phil was spouting the 'detractors are saying I spent $140k on a game' bullshit.

It's clear his Mod team are a bit special needs, but I'm almost certain that Phil is being a shady piece of shit keeping them in the dark and them not going looking for proof, rather than them willingly knowing he's lying.

What was the motivation of the leaks by the old mod handed when they handed them over? I know we all jumped on it as our proof but was that originally why it was leaked - to prove his WWE discord is true? I don't know the context of whichever disgruntled former 'employee' sent it. StraightCashHomie only seemed bothered that the chat contents had leaked not the ramifications of that - leading me to believe they're all blue pilled and haven't a clue.

Or maybe I'm being optimistic and they're all in together, the lying sack of cunts.

Straightcashomie is literally the only actual fan out of his active mods. Kinggoken does it cause he has no life and his main goal is to moderate as many places as possible, Anonymouse is a semi trollish dude who moderates properly but always sneak disses him, Madara is special ed but talks about how dumb Phil is every time he is in chat and the rest aren't even active.
 
I wonder if the Scopely corporate office has a digital loserboard in the break room displaying real-time stats on the whales frantically pulling. I’m imagining the executives cackling with glee and greedily rubbing their mitts while watching the skyrocketing shekel count. On the other end, is a bleary-eyed, gin-fueled Dave sitting alone in his awffice frantically tapping the buy button and yelling, “Ah, kham on!” loudly as possible without Kat hearing it from the other room. A guy can dream, right?
 
Was his WWE Supercard account named "DSPGaming"? If so then there is a greater than 0 chance that due to "troll activities" this name was taken when Champions was released. And since he is so unoriginal he just went with his twitter handle.

But as has been discussed to death here, the likelihood of someone taking the name and then whaling out to this degree is pretty slim.

Phil's mods mod for him and Phil plays shit gacha for the same reason.

Percieved clout. They're all too stupid and shut in to ever have a 'real' social group or respect, so they pay for it. They're all the types to simply filter down until they find a group so pathetic they can be the 'cool kids club'. If Phil hadnt modded them they would have found someone who would let them have power eventually.

Its actually sadder in Phil's case because his mods have some semblance of power and 'respect' for 400+ stream autists. They know he's an idiot but memeing in chat makes them 'cool'. Essentially, you can name Phil's mods and top paypigs, so they're getting what they want.

Phil does the same thing for roughly 100 (I think they have a B guild too) to 200 losers playing some shit gacha game nobody who plays 'real' gacha has heard of. Like it can't be overstated how absolutely pathetic these gacha cucks are even when the 'better' games are still considered super predatory.

Phil is paying infinitely more money than even his top paypigs for clout in a smaller, more irrelevant circle.
 
Dave could do what another poster suggested and start streaming this game to make some money, he will get possibly some new whales but the problem is he is incredibly toxic. He gets baited so easily that it will reroute the streams and a lot of the new wrestle speds will leave. The problem is he is so paranoid of people cash backing and essentially not accepting the gratuity. He is by far one of the worst people to cheer/tip because he has 0 respect.
 
In gambling circles (in the UK at least) Phil would be classed 'vulnerable' and continuing to allow him to gamble while undergoing a bankruptcy would be in direct breach of a company's responsible gambling policy which could lead to massive fines or losing a gaming license altogether.

In gacha circles he's classed as a prestigious whale and allowed to continue to pump thousands upon thousands a month, unchecked, into a chance at a fancy new JPEG.

If he wasn't such a begging, manipulative, retarded, deceitful, lying, toxic-manbaby fuckup I could feel sorry for him. Mobile game MTX stuff is incredibly predatory and you can't even win anything tangible. If I had to write a DSP redemption arc after his bankruptcy he'd come clean about how addicted he was and become an advocate for the regulation of some of this stuff. He would be in his element pity-splaining how his 11 year pioneer lets-play legacy was left ruined at the hands of someone else and definitely not his own fault.

The government can't tell an alcoholic they can't buy liquor or force a smoker to stop going three packs a day while having lung cancer.

They sure can't stop you from buying 40k in hearthstone packs or gacha either.

But to correct a point, 'whales' arent prestigious in gacha circles. They're definitely made fun of. The only prestige for Phil is the guild members who congratulate him for helping them win events. But none of them wish they were him. He's there to dump paychecks into the game because they don't want to and he's willingly doing it for asspats.
