Exactly how I'm reading into his replies as well. I've seen at least two cases where he says something to the effect of that his detractors are taking a "kernel of truth" and turning it into something that is a ridiculous lie. Or, in this case, that it IS his account but the amount spent on it isn't correct.

If Phil is forced to address this account being his I predict he will say that he never ACTUALLY flat out denied it was his, but the amount spent isn't correct and that was why it was bullshit.

eg:
"I NEVER spent 40k on this game! It's all just totally ridiculous!!!"
(snort... it was 35k)
I'm really curious if HE even knows how much he has spent. I could see him losing count or just trying not to think about it too much.

Hard to say, actually. I was about to make a jokey post saying Phil pays as much attention to it as he usually does his finances, but then I remembered he's complained about the costs in some of the discord posts. I'd still wager that, overall, he doesn't have any idea how much he's spent in the grand scheme of things, but I think he's vaguely aware of it, at least with the bigger pulls. He's also complained about mobile games being a money sink in the past.

I think him acknowledging it, but still continuing to whale away is arguably worse than him just mindlessly making small purchases in the store without realizing how much he's spent. It really shows how much of an addict he is/how little self control he has.

For me, the funnest/saddest part about the whole thing is how, if he had even just the faintest amount of business sense like he claims to have, he could have actually made a living playing a game he enjoyed. I can't remember the last time I saw Phil get as hyped for a game than when he was describing his gameplay tips in some of the earlier discord screenshots. It sounds like he was actually thinking about what went into the game instead of just mashing the attack button and ignoring all other game mechanics/waiting for cheers to tell him what to do like we see in his normal streams. And just in general, Phil talking about wrestling is one of the few times he actually sounds excited and wants to have a conversation instead of just giving a one or two word answer and then calling his viewers dumb for asking him a question.

Hell, if I'm understanding the game correctly, he could even incorporate some of his pigroach tactics. Have the highest bidder select what wrestler he adds to his team, like he did with his Pokemon streams. Or he could do a member's only guild and require you to be a patreon supporter/tip him X amount to get an invite. Instead of playing a bunch of games he hates during a viewers choice, do a special guild event day where everyone plays together.

He'd still be financially in the hole and declaring bankruptcy, but at least he'd be able to enjoy his "job"

I know someone (doesn't do it anymore) that spent thousands on lootboxes in Overwatch. They had known they spent a bit, but couldn't even imagine how much it actually was. Since the games don't track it for you, most people find themselves just buying one or two a day, maybe every couple days, splurging a bit on big paychecks without thinking before it all adds up. I guarantee Phil knows hes spent a bit, but not even close to being able to guess what he's actually spent. It's a disgusting system.

Crossposting this from the main thread. Straightcashhomie29 (one of the mods seen in the leaks) confirming that the leaks are genuine. It's the guy, 100%.

So now that we know which mod was the leaker, somebody should contact him to see if he will share more info on their mod discord and any info on Phil and WWE champions.

Clearly this ex mod isn't on good terms with dsp anymore.

I feel people at least deserve to know the truth behind all these fundraisers to "save Phil" from destitution. What an absolute disgrace he is.

How much of a cuck can StraightCuckHomie be?

At this point he knows that Phil is lying every day to his audience (still claiming the Discord leaks are fake) and he surely has to have figured out that DSP spends all the cash on WWE Champions.
And still, he keeps up the facade and mods/bans in his streamchat for him.

I have a feeling when DSP checks this thread he's going to delete his secret Moderator Discord channel and re-vet all his Mods til he feels he got rid of the leaker.

Great leaks but this'll be shut down by Dave asap

Some other things that don't really deal with WWE gatcha bejeweled but point to it being entirely possible:

-Phil has multiple photos on instagram of playing a Dragonball gatcha game and showing off his high ranked cards. One set of photos shows a SSR card and the next day the same card maxed out and evolved or whatever they do in that game. I can only assume that getting a super super rare card is super super rare. And if you do get one it would be quite difficult to upgrade it without pay for play tokens or dragonball or whatever they call in game currency. This leads me to believe Phil spends money on mobile gatcha games.

-On the flight to Connecticut last year, Phil accidentally screwed up buying wi-fi for Kat and him. Only one phone got internet on the plane. Phil said he played mobile games while Kat watched. I repeat, Kat wanted to play on the internet but Phil decided he would play mobile games and make her watch. On the way to get married. What a gentleman. This leads me to believe Phil cares more about mobile games than he cares about how his playing of those games might affect those around him. A sign of addiction?

-Phil claims around $5000 a month in business expenses. Nobody can figure where that money is being spent. Phil explains that microtransactions are business expenses. Phil doesn't do microtransactions for the games he plays on stream. This leads me to conclude that somewhere Phil is spending a lot of money on microtransactions.

These three things, history of spending money on mobile games, addictive thinking, and unaccounted for money, lead me to believe this is Phil.

Dokkan Battle is not as bad a gacha game as you think. It takes in game currency to do pulls for rare cards, but upgrading them does not. It just requires time and patience and you can’t just throw money at them to upgrade and power them up.

While I do believe this is real I am also confused why this double agent didn't take more screenshots, especially since he must of known as soon as any image was posted here that Phil would be going into damage control mode and the mods would be ready to kill each other to find the detractor for their Gout Master.

If you were in that position would you not take everything you could, even stuff that didn't seem important. The gig is up anyway so that person could at least share some more information about this mod server in general.

Wonder what the motivation was exactly.

If it was drsgangsta, he wasn't really a mod for long. Perhaps he all of a sudden got fed up with Phil's bullshit and got what he could get before he left/got demoded?

Saw this, thought of Dave PP Burnett.

Another point to think about is: Given that you accept that the WWE Champions account 'TheyCallMeDSP' does in fact belong to the guy who has gone by that screen-name all over the internet for 20 years, one Philip Paul Burnell, people wonder why he would use a name that obviously points to him in the game. Phil would have made his account for this game a full 2 months before he masturbated on-stream. WWE Champions released March 8th, 2016 and the WWE Champions account 'TheyCallMeDSP' claims to have had that account since day 1. You have to think in the mentality of pre-incident 2016 Phil when thinking about why he would use his Twitter handle in the game. He was not as infamous back then or as much of a paranoid shut-in.

ETA: Hell, a year before making his WWE Champions account he was still openly considering making videos and/or guides for the various mobile games he was playing.

There's a clear pattern of the man lacking any real business sense or judgement which leaves him really vulnerable to that specific form of exploitation. I tried to endure his vlog of his Connecticut wedding trip, and he did things like commended the airline for providing complementary snacks (not appreciating that it's of course built into the price of his ticket - the airline isn't giving you food for free that's not how this works. They can call it complementary but it's an airline run for profit). And when he hired a car, he relied on the agency's advice about insurance only to learn later it wasn't required. There doesn't appear to be anyone in his world to pull him up in the moment like "honey - we don't need an expensive new car, we hardly drive anywhere, save the money" "honey - the CT khando is getting cluttered with these very expensive statues and a man your age doesn't need that many, perhaps we have enough, or you can sell a couple before we buy the next"

The guy lacks the judgement to know good advice from bad, and when someone has his best interests at heart or they're out to get what they can from him. If you were that vulnerable to being ripped off or mucked around and you had a huge ego that you didn't want damaged, it makes sense that he avoids leaving the house or interacting with too many people, and never really ventures anywhere or tries new things.

Perhaps he thinks losing money on WWE champions somehow benefits him in the long run, or at least aren't as bad if he can claim the losses as a business expense. Or maybe the high he gets from lootboxes is worth the expense to him.

I'm still giggling like a child over DSP shitting on Indians for no other reason other than them not acting in his best interest (and that's completely setting aside the notion that Paypal obviously has to be run by Indians and not a wide variety of people/literally anybody else).
I never really thought about DSP and racism all that much, presumably because it just blends in with all his remaining failings as a human being. But his attitude regarding this is just undeniable, isn't it? I bet there are delicious, delicious logs full of Phil dropping gamer words still waiting to be unconvered. Not that his fans would be deterred by this at all, mind you.
However, I'm sure such a reveal could make for some decent drama, don't you think?

Plus throws money at him.

Phil's mods aren't the smartest. Plus there's still some weird sense of 'I'll leak this because I'll mad and they'll definitely never know it was me so I can go back to modding if I want' probably.

I'd like to clarify as well that I appreciate your insight (and others' as well) on the possibility of the screenshots being faked. As @Surly Muppet has pointed out, if it's faked, then bravo to the creator. But even without these screenshots, I think the evidence is overwhelmingly in favor of it being him. The two accounts with the same name on two different games he's talked about playing, the leaked stuff that continues to come out from the guild discord with writing style and dates that match up well with Phil. The fact that he's $131,000 in the hole despite making more than $100,000 for 8-10 years and yet has no apparent assets to show for it. If you can come up with a believable alternative story for this scenario, I'm all ears. I've tried to run through other possibilities, and I just can't come up with anything that's remotely reasonable.

personally i already mostly believe but the one thing that bothers me......... Would DSP tell his mods about the successful chargebacks? That info seems like something DSP wouldnt even risk telling kat. his entire being is built on this "i win all chargebacks" thing. That is the one thing keeping me from believing the leaks 100%. Everything else feels right about it except that part almost felt like the person who created it went to far (if they did).

I still 90% believe the leak, and i am around 95% on the wwe champions account but i need a little more to push me to 100% personally.

AN interesting thought activity..... If you were a juror on this case, and you were presented the evidence on this thread, and the penalty was life in prison, would you convict on this? circumstantial evidence is a mountain high but direct evidence is still a little lacking....

Yes, if the defense was being mounted by Roachelle for all of $1.2k in legal fees, I think the prosecution would walk all over Phil and have the jury in their palm.

Absolutely he would, because its one half complaining about how India is a bunch of dumbfuck detractors and an example of how idiots are out to get him.
