There has been some recent drama with Sidella, including Anony saying 'Sidella is ban on sight' in Phil's stream chat. This would seem to fall in line with some of that. Not to mention StraightCashHomie in there straight sucking Phil's dick. If that's the level of pignosis of the newer mods, then he probably wouldn't believe the Champions theory even if Phil showed him the account personally.
@actually without revealing who they are, do you feel the source is trustworthy? The only mod that I know of that recently stepped back was Anony, but he didn't leave completely. Phil does have a few mods that are less active and have scaled back their support. Maybe Brian, freed of pignosis by Jasper, had a little Behind the Scenes chat with young Kekon.
It seems plausible that one of the mods may have come face to face with confirmation that it's true... that could do it for some, even ones that stood by Phil previously. Keep in mind the severity of this situation - this absolutely makes Phil a scammer. No crisis made him do this, if it is true. This is also bad enough that they may conclude that it's better to leak proof than confront Phil. Particularly if it's one of the remaining older guard, they no doubt know there is nothing to be gained by asking questions anyway.
As motivations for it being fake... if it came from the mastermind of this ruse, it could just be more fuel for what is an even more elaborate troll than the escort.
If it came from a reasonably trustworthy source.... then.... I don't know what the motivation would be to fake it, unless it's a setup for Phil to rant about how we're all obsessed with Photoshopped images. But we wouldn't need this for him to do that, so it'd be wasted effort.
