At minimum for this particular game yea. I actually suspect it’s a good deal higher based on the low drop rates forcing you to spend more money on pulls.

Add in any other mobile games he dropped thousands on and I suspect overall, he’s north of $50,000+. I have no proof but I definitely have a gut feeling that this number is somewhat accurate. Remember kids, this is the fuck who was bitching about a $20 goose game not long ago.
I'm gonna guess it's much higher then 50k if you were to add up every mobile games hes played. He got his wealth right when mobile games really became the big thing and p2w stuff was coming out. He's talked about ~8 games he's played at least and I wouldn't doubt he whaled in every one of them. Just look at his Hearthstone behavior on that stream when he was dropped hundreds for no reason other then he didn't want to wait a bit to craft the cards for free. Pretty much every game he has mentioned besides Dokkan Battle is intense p2w and Dokkan still being expensive if you want every new character. I wouldn't even be surprised if he has spent 6 figures on these games over the last decade.

Funniest thing to me is basically every game he picked to play were the absolute lowest of the low and are considered basically shit to people who play mobile games because they are run/made by greedy people who pray on suckers. The power of nostalgia truly is astounding as all of the ones he played were things he enjoyed as a kid/teen.

the nwo wrestling mobile game event also seems to come a few weeks after he dressed up as yoshi for the halloween event and I think he announced his $1,800 "not for taxes" thing around this time, or was the $1800 meme during the halloween event, cbf looking into it
The $1800 was prior to the Halloween event in Oct 2019. I also don't show anything special that I noted for Nov 8th-11th, but I don't generally mark things like him begging for games. He never hit his $200 "tip goal" on any of those days, though he did get close on a couple. Only stuff like when things like the $1800 "goal" started and ended and if there are large donations/hype train-type things. You could check his schedules (or maybe @Comma can access them quickly) to see if he was explicitly begging then.
I don't see anything out of the ordinary during that period. The $1800 goal ran from October 23 to October 31, with the Halloween marathon obviously being on the 31st. According to my own numbers - which of course aren't 100% accurate - he earned received at least $2120 in tips during the Oct. 23-31 period, including the Halloween marathon (which was pretty mediocre revenue-wise).

In the period after that until the end of the WWE Champions event (so November 1 to November 12), I don't see anything that could be tied to extra begging neither. I mean, it's hard to tell the difference nowadays, because he's in hardcore begging mode every single day, but I can't pinpoint a remarkable difference between the regular begging.
Using PigPigGo (https://pigpiggo.net/?keyword=tips&title=&startDate=2019-11-07&endDate=2019-11-12&start=0), you can see some of his typical tip/cheer shaming tactics (for the people who are new to this, 'tip shaming' or 'cheer shaming' means he uses someone's contribution to announce his need for tips - yes, he actually does this), but meh, nothing out of the ordinary. During this period of about 10 days he received $1430 in tips. So yeah, I'd say slightly above average, but not really that spectacular compared to the DSP norm.

With all that said, I don't think he sets up marathons/events solely to rake in money to dump into his mobile game addiction. If he's spending hundreds/thousands of dollars a month on these things, I think he just sees those expenses as "collateral damage"; an addition to his taxes/mortgage(s)/utilities etc.

I guess we really should have expected this. DSP has obviously been blowing money. That he is addicted to a mobile game he probably plays all night long when he stops streaming actually makes a lot of sense (he often looks completely strung out in his morning stream.) A lot of events line up with this, he probably did a bulk of the spending before Kat moved in. What if all the money we thought went to multiple flights and moving Kat in really went to 10k in mobile games? Perhaps his whale habits really started to spiral out of control around that time, especially with the cash flowing in.

the gin helps get the hulk hogan I think

This definitely has made his hardcore begging for huge amounts to get benched because the daily 200 tip goal(counting both streams) have been working out well for him it seems, as long as he keeps shaking the tip cup.

It's been something how slowly he's transitioned from one method to another under peoples' noses because it feels like yesterday there was no such thing as a 100 dollar tips goal per stream.

Wonder what his next scheme is.

Dokkan is only expensive if you need to have every new LR rainbowed as soon as they drop, otherwise, you can go a long way without spending a dime. As I said I spent $20 on the game altogether and that was years ago Before LR units were even a thing. Not including free to play units, I have pulled 12 LRs (some with dupes in them) without spending a cent on buying dragon stones.

Well, we're talking about Phil here. He definitely paid for stuff.

I think that's the funniest part; that he fell for straight up nostalgia bait. Just play the original game/watch the movie/whatever for god's sake. This is why major game companies release almost no new IPs lately, they know they'll get more sales if they work from an existing one. Reboots, rereleases, remakes, remasters, and nostalgia cash-ins are what mainstream gaming companies focus on now and idiots like Phil can't get enough.

I'd like to thank the collective autis--, er, dilligence in this thread for amassing a pile of supporting evidence and thereby BTFOing my skepticism and DSP's subsequent limpwristed denials.

I'm glad the writers have come up with this entertaining storyline to kick off the new season. We had the start of the foreclosure saga at the end of last season, but that's a slow burn that'll take months to pay off. There's truly no bottom to the autistic pit that is DSP.

In case you were wondering if both DSPs are one in the same:

So currently Coeus is so confident that its the same person that the odds exceed the number of people currently on the planet. This mesh has literally never been wrong if his confidence is greater than about 85%

But it doesn't matter. Nothing will change. Dave lives on.

I love the autism on this forum. Thank you so much for this.
