How long would it have taken Phil to unlock the leagues without dropping $225? Is it something that could have easily been blitzed out in a couple of streams and Phil was just desperate to spend as always, or is WWE Champions actually so grindy it makes Korean MMOs look generous?
 
Okay. Actually watching Phil play this game.
  • Already spent $10 before stream for a monthly sub thing.
  • Says he needs to get to lvl 5. Says he needs to spend $ to lvl up. "You can get there by just playing, but it takes longer I think. I don't know." Phil has no idea how this game works without spending money.
  • Phil has already spent $5 before stream for an intro package of pulls.
  • Phil knows every single thing about every tiny nuance, item, wrestler, ranking, etc. in this game including every pack you spend money on and everything currently going on with the game, yet he claims he only had played the game casually for years.
  • Jayde loves this. Jayde loves WWE. Derich BTFO.
  • JFC we just spent 12 minutes troubleshooting closing Google Chrome and re-opening it. Now we're doing 6 minutes of shoutouts. I don't think I can do this.
  • Phil buys a $100 pack. He is absolutely going to leak financial info by forgetting to blank his screen eventually.
  • Now spurging about how you never want to spend money in-game and should always go to the website because you get extra loot.
  • He named his new account 'TheKingDSP'. He definitely didn't start playing this game 7 years ago with the account name 'TheyCallMeDSP' though. You are mentally ill if you think that.
  • Hit VIP lvl 5 from spending. Excited to be able to do current spending event. Oh, wait. Now we're pissed we actually have to play the game for 15 minutes to increase League lvl to unlock current spending event.
  • We spend 20 minutes junkie clicking through his pack.
  • Phil knows every single thing about every strategy and every character's moves in the game. Definitely only casually plays.
  • Phil wants to hit League lvl 7 so he doesn't have to waste time playing the game.
  • Spurging about how good the game looks on PC compared to his phone.
  • Jayde is LOVING this!
  • Phil mocks an on-screen pop-up offering to speed up League lvl up for $5.99. Seconds later Phil wonders if there is a way to speed up League lvl up progress by spending. He hopes there is.
  • Phil says the $5.99 for League progress was a scam that's lying and only lvls up your characters.
  • Phil jerking himself off about having 1,000 viewers and being the most popular WWEC streamer ever, and how everyone loves him now.
  • Phil knows all the popular WWEC streamers and what their Scopely sponsored streams look like and entail.
  • Phil saying that when he played the game on his "personal" account for 7 years he never thought about trying to monetize it or play it for his channel. So all of his WWEC spending to this point in his own words was a personal entertainment expense and was 100% NOT a business research expense. Sound good?
  • Reiterates that he will NOT be playing this account off-stream because this is his BUSINESS WWEC account.
  • Says Argentinian Memberships mean NOTHING because he doesn't get money and shits on that everyone in his chat had Memberships and access to his emotes.
  • Phil saying, "Wouldn't it be funny if we started a Faction and had one of the top Factions in the game?" Yes Phil, it would be so hilarious and cool if you got viewers to join you and give Scopely 10's of thousands of dollars.
  • Phil now looking at the League 3 progress pop-up for $10 because he just wants to see what it is. "It's $10, I'll just get it but I don't think it's going to help at all."
  • Phil looking for ways to spend so he can get League points. Now spending $15 for a League pack to "turbo" through it.
  • There's no way to spend more for League points to get him to lvl 4 even though he just spent $25.
  • Phil says he thinks he has hit a "paywall". By this he means he can't just spend more to progress.
  • Says he is bored of playing the game and wants to "do pulls".
  • Phil buys a $30 membership that gives you extra rewards when you do pulls, and another $100 pack.
  • Says he knows he's going get "all dupes" and no new characters so this will be worthless. Spent $100 knowing he will get nothing because he was bored.
  • We're laughing hysterically that we're getting all duplicates and none of the super rare things in the loot pool.
  • Scrolling through the website looking at characters he can buy with his duplicate coins.
  • Playing the game again. To reiterate, Phil knows every move list for every character. Just been playing casually "less and less" over the last several years. Knows literally everything that's been happening in current events in the game.
  • Now we're pulling games off his schedule to play again tomorrow.
  • Phil mocks a viewer who says he "oddly knows way too much about this game." He never said he didn't play it imbecile! He said he's played it for 7+ YEARS!!!
  • ACKnowledging we didn't do any tips rewards because "I didn't think you guys would care about that at all."

Money spent = $270

Phil just spent $270 playing just the start of this game for 2 hours and 35 minutes. He definitely doesn't spend $2K a month on this game you fucking braindead losers!!!

Have fun when he plays this again tonight. Don't think I can sit through another of these.

Watching these streams, you can see why Phil doesn't realize he spends so much money.

Roadblock in the game, spend $10. So what, it's just $10. Now I need to grind, spend $2 to skip a battle. Who cares, it's just $2. And this is on his burner account.

Phil spends without a second thought. He is the 1% of destroyed gacha addicts that Scopely targets.

And that's how he went bankrupt. He claims the "big" mistake was to put the expenses for his move on high interest credit cards (which was stupid!), but - especially back then - he would've had more than enough disposable income to pay them off, highest interest first.

But he wasted all disposable income on WWEC, Supercard and other gacha instead (plus doordash and probably some other luxuries he's not telling on), leaving him with only minimum payments on his rip-off cards for years. So stupid!

Is the "early game" in WWEC any different from how it plays once you're a few years or a few thousand dollars into it? It seems a bit weird how familiar he is with setting up a new account in particular, considering it's supposed to have been over 7 years since he last made one, but it might just not matter in this game.

None of his safety concerns with the main WWEC account apply to any other account he's ever shown on stream, including his new WWEC one. What could people do with his real account that they couldn't do with this one? Hmm.

And there is no way that Scopely would fall to a gayops with one of his best costumers. This dude is not showing the name of the account for protect his family but got people to find the Khet restriction order because he talk about on SideScrollers when no one ask him about it. Piggie logic.
