Is mother Burnell completely in the dark regarding the insane spending problem? Remember when Phil claimed he received cash from his mom which was not to be put towards taxes. So he happily took a wad of cash from mom knowing it will blown on virtual wrestlers. I suppose that jives with my preconceived notion of the man. That's totally in character with who I think (no, know) he is.

There's an old pre-stream while Phil was engaged to Leanna, when someone in chat presses Phil about the date of the wedding. Phil snaps back about how things take time, and until the legal work is ready, it would be messed up to marry her now, because if he died she would inherit all of his outstanding debt. I just thought that was a curious detail to explain to his stream.

So, if you're arguing that things are possible, I mean...yeah, okay, you're not technically wrong. I can say it's possible that Phil has been playing 500d chess this whole time and he's actually hired by Elon Musk as some sort of long running psychological experiment to study cult indoctrination. You're getting into "well what if we just live in a simulation" levels of arguing that wouldn't even pass muster in a highschool debate setting.

I'm genuinely trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, which I probably deserve puzzle pieces for, but it's mostly because I think healthy skepticism with Phil is a good thing. Escort saga is an example of that, we discovered the truth precisely because people were willing to pull at the strings and try to investigate/counter some of the suspicious claims. Heck, even Champions itself arguably started off as that.

People are getting annoyed because you're not really bringing anything to the table but weird hypotheticals that basically amount to "but what if the evidence didn't exist" or outlandish things like "what if there's a troll who is so addicted they burned hundreds of thousands of dollars, but apparently isn't addicted enough to never once slip up and play outside of the time Phil is on screen."

Yes, nobody can disprove it, but that's because you can't prove it either. This is why, before Champions was discovered, there was no factual claim of what Phil was spending his money on. All we had was speculation, some of which was popular, but even then, it was acknowledged there was no way to prove it.

If you genuinely think Phil isn't spending his money on Champions, then I'd recommend proving what he is spending his money on. Or, hell, at least come up with a good theory.

The Line App requires 2FA. It doesn't matter if trolls know his phone number, they would need to have physical access to his phone to register. And talking about 2FA, when people brought up this argument to DSP, he acted super retarded by pretending he didn't know what 2FA was. DSP is scared to even let his computer update and admits to having 0 idea how to do anything on it. He saves everything to the desktop like a boomer and cant even properly manage different OBS layouts. He has progressed backwards significantly since moving the Seattle tech wise he can't even manage to set up an emulator or even download a pre setup one from a dent to play older games/fighting games.

Spent $3000 on a PC that he is too scared to stream games on because he is unable to configure OBS properly, currently has 3 PC's, a mini PC and a laptop that he struggles to use and has panic attacks when it restarts because he leaves all of his devices on 24/7. And he still begs for viewers to buy him a new PC + steam deck even if he won't ever use them on stream.

Streaming is so incredibly easy with such a low level of cpu power needed unless you are doing actual production which he isn't (green screen still in garage going on 7 years?) there isn't an actual need for him to upgrade. His laptop is purely used to read the chat so unless it physically doesn't work anymore he won't need a new one.

Champions is literally a bejeweled game built to run on potato phones so no reason for him to upgrade (also has a tablet) He doesn't answer the phone period and refuses to talk to anyone on it unless its his parents or he is calling to complain about something so there is no reason to change his number and he would be too lazy anyways. Remember this is the guy who literally threw away tens of thousands because he refused to talk on the phone regarding his other condo.

All I know is that if I went into a thread with a detailed OP and tons of highlights that has had this same discussion 10 times and said "I'm not reading all that shit" I wouldn't be surprised if people call me a fucking retard and I got threadbanned.

i am amazed you guys let this retard shit up the thread this much. i literally just watched all of you go "here's this evidence" and he completely ignores you and responds with "how does kat fit into all this?" and you all responded to that, when the proper response is "how does you killing yourself fit in?" he asked his questions, you all responded and even challenged him to address the evidence. he didn't and then changed the topic and you all went with it.

Arranging it so your cat "accidentally" knocks your phone over so it's just visible for a few seconds seems excessive. Especially for someone like Phil, who isn't exactly known for having foresight.

But, okay, let's run with the theory that Phil is doing it to rile up detractors. Why? What's the end game? Why in this specific instance does Phil want to rile detractors? Normally, when Champions is brought up, Phil will feign ignorance or completely ignore it and try to move on to something else. To the best of my knowledge, his fans aren't donating with messages like "lol, here's more for Champions, right?" or things like that to suggest it is getting them to donate money. From all appearances, it isn't something he wants people to discuss. When he was on the Sidescroller interview, he was trying to debunk it. He wanted to do that interview as a way to debunk a lot of misconceptions about him, presumably with the hope of getting a new audience. Unless you're proposing it was an extremely long con, he wasn't doing it as a way to get at the detractors. During the interview, he was offered the chance to privately show his account to clear up the misconceptions and prove that it was actually a troll. He declined.

Phil loves to dunk on people when he perceives they are wrong. If he was doing this as a way to prove that detractors are dumb and believe anything, why keep it going all this time? When someone who wronged Phil in the past has something bad happen to them, like ProJared, Phil doesn't even wait 24 hours to dunk on them and smugly do a "told you so" style post, so why in this instance is Phil willing to seemingly wait years and let a lie spread that could arguably hurt his business if anything.

So let's run with this one now. In the early days of the thread, this was a pretty common concern. Stranger things have happened in the goutverse. But, as I've mentioned before, it doesn't really hold up when you compare the login times. Someone is so addicted to the game they're willing to spend thousands of dollars, but exercise enough restraint to only fuel their addiction specifically during DSP's off hours? That also means they're spending X hours every day watching DSP specifically to line up with his bathroom breaks, it's not like they're just looking at DSP's stream schedule and waiting for the end of the stream.

It also doesn't explain why they'd change their name. If they're impersonating DSP to rile people up or whatever, why would they stop using the DSP alias? Or if it's all part of some long con to still impersonate DSP, why not use something more related to him, like Mr.Stupid1.

It also raises other questions, like if DSP isn't spending on Champions, where is his money going? What are the spendings on Apple Pay really for? What about the other games we found with TheyCallMeDSP that also line up with games we know Phil was playing? Were those ones the same troll, or were they actually Phil?

As I previously stated, I think DSP skepticism is healthy and I'll reitierate, I genuinely encourage you to look into things and do some digging if you don't believe it. Seriously, it's not a passive aggressive "read the thread" style diss or anything else like that. While I personally don't think you'll find anything to disprove it, I'll gladly take the L if you do because it would be such a wild twist in the goutverse. Or, who knows, maybe you'll find some other spending source that we all missed because we were only looking at the Champions side of things.

It's not like we gain anything from Champions being Phil's addiction. I think if anything some people were disappointed that it was ultimately something so mundane because they were hoping for something more scandelous. Again, see the escort saga, that was one of the reasons why people believed it, because the idea of DSP being addicted to hookers and spending thousands of dollars not only explained where the money went, but it was funny because it made DSP appear extra pathetic.

For me, it's a mix of having 7 minutes to kill while my download finishes, and more for the benefit of anyone new who stumbled into the goutverse recently from the subforum drama a few weeks back. If nothing else, it's putting the evidence back out there for other new readers who have understandable and reasonable doubts about whether Phil is really burning so much money on Champions.

It's far beyond reasonable doubt at this point that Phil is playing this game and instead of looking into the things that we all know and have all been talking about for YEARS at this point you arrive and speak like you know more than us. Phil has already openly stated he was addicted to an older game, WWE Supercard.

I was very sceptical that Phil would be dumb enough to spend his money this way, but at this point it's hard to deny.
