Boogie actually said in the interview that his savings were his crypto wallet. That might actually be worse than it being a buyer's market for cars.
Phil bought a condo that he knew he would only live in for 6 months to annoy a girl he worked with and then foreclosed on it years later.

Boogie could have taken his cash out and set fire to it in his back yard and it wouldn't be as stupid and Phil here.

I
15% of pre-tax income, not counting contributions to social security. For a typical middle class Burgerlander this works out to assets in the low 7 figures at retirement; with Phil's higher income and addiction issues I imagine he would need more (probably in the ballpark of $2 million) if he wanted to retire in his late 50s-early 60s.

You didn't ask about this next bit but it is still relevant: Retirement accounts (called 401ks or IRAs) have a yearly limit on contributions in exchange for preferential tax treatment, so Phil's ability to catch up to where he should be financially is greatly limited even if he started cutting back and saving tomorrow.

They’re both stupid, hence being lolcows. Phil could have continued renting his condo and be ok

even worse.
there will be nothing to sell, once scopely decides to release a new wwe game and shuts down the old one
They wont if people like Phil are dropping $30 000 per year and it only takes a couple of Koreans to run the server. And then some people to make the zombie Hogan j-pegs around Halloween and so on. Could probably use the same Koreans to do that.

With all the money he's spent he could have literally hired a few programmers and artists off fiiver and had his own gacha custom made for him and given himself god mode. Heck he could recruit some of his paypigs if he wanted other people to smackdown.

I'm not up on all the latest detractor rankings but I recall Gundam being considered not particularly reliable. The fact he's asking for a source while having "heard" this is suspicious enough, and as TJGamebox pointed out:

this would require effort on DSP's part, and it would be painless to see the contact information and social media logins associated with any account.

In any event, I posted this just in case DSP was considering doing this; it won't work, we'll know, Scopely's TOS prohibits transferring accounts between people (not that DSP has ever cared about following the TOS of any platforms he's on, but regardless) and you missed your chance to clear your name during the interview, so don't bother. But if he does suddenly, out of nowhere, start talking about being able to """"""prove"""""" he has a different account, he might actually be dumb enough to attempt it.

I call bullshit. It has to be an account active when Champions started in 2017, when Dave himself admitted he was playing, and this would be easily checkable like TJ Gamebox says. So, he would have to buy/get another old account, and I don't see him doing any of this effort especially because Scopely would ban him unless he gets super special paypig privilege.

At best, Dave might try some half-ass attempt where he begrudgingly shows his username and little else to protect his family, etc... and then any mention of this afterward is LIMB.

I'm pretty sure Phils phone number is attached to a Line account that is attached to his WWEC account, so he'd need another phone and possibly a number, but you'd have to look back in this thread to find the information.

From what I remember about things that have been posted in this thread about WWEChampions account recovery, and what I looked into about buying and selling accounts, it's very hard to get Scopely to disassociate your phone number, Apple Play account, etc. from your WWEC account.
Switching between 2 accounts constantly would be a pain in the ass, and he would likely have to do other things like buy a separate phone, phone number, and set up a separate Apple Play account just to perpetrate a charade like this and not risk getting account banned.
Phil is lazy and currently has no reason to pull this. Besides his account being tracked because he can't stop spending so much that he ends up in the top 100 of events he is not currently being fucked with.
Phil has maintained that he cannot show us his WWEC account name because he uses that name on other games that he would then be found on.

I mean, he has gotten his name changed multiple times, despite Scopely saying it was impossible and that is not taking into account that his current user name is too long compared to what Scopely allows for usernames.

Yes, but a name change is irrelevant. Allowing account sharing and farm accounts opens up sets a terrible precedent in games like this.

Exactly, I think he has special paypig privilege to have carte blanche when it comes to bullshit he tries to pull in the game. The problem with the theory, as @BPD Gunt Rider and @Prince Lotor have already said - he's simply too fucking lazy and most likely technologically inept to pull this charade.

This was the exact same theory people floated ~half a year ago when he was fishing for an interview (the one that he ended up doing with sidescrollers), so why should we treat this new attempt at getting an interview any different? Considering how triggered he got at the Turkey Tom video it could just as easily be his latest attempt at 'debunking the slander'.

You are onto something with him consistently placing very high - part of the reason he spends so much on Champions is that it's the only way for him to get the recognition/respect he thinks he deserves. If he created a brand-new account he'd have to give that up and re-buy his way into a good faction, and I don't think his ego could take that. He certainly does not have the money to do that with a new account and keep up his spending on his main.

The biggest issue with this latest Theo Theroy is this - Who the actual fuck would DSP tell that he's doing this? There isn't a single person he'd admit this to. And if you're of the opinion that it could be leaked by Kat... Please contact me about the bridge I have for sale.

I don't agree.

He could do the secret screen shot method where the interviewer only see's the username of the account and doesn't share it.

Unless they are autistic enough to know how to discover the age of the account then it's a pretty safe play by Phil
