DSP isn't adding up things he buys to reach $5000/month in business expenses.
There is an income cap for the bankruptcy he filed for, and to lower his income to that level, he had to declare $5000 a month in expenses.

Thanks for keeping this thread going.

There was a small part of me that thought he might have backed off the spending by now, but I guess what the hell was I thinking.

I wonder how much of that $600 he got from his superbowl event went straight into Champions....? This ass wipe can't help himself.
If you are to take Phil's word for it (pro detractor tip, never do), he has been playing other mobile games that don't include champions and spends a little money "here and there" in them, so it's almost guaranteed that some of that tip money went straight into a mobile game (i.e. Champions and whatever gacha shit he's hooked onto).

He needs tips daily because he likes to keep his YouTube check to pay for all his "bills", and considering he still manages to log into the game most days without missing a beat, of course this idiot is going to blow some of that tip money on Champions.

But yeah, I really do wonder how much of it went right into Scopely's pocket, if he goes right back into hardcore begging the next time he streams because he really needs to hit that tips goal to pay for stuff, that should answer that query.

I was about to make a Phil style joke about how this was debunked because only most of it went into Champions and another $40 or $50 went into his needlessly expensive Doordash order, but he filled his and Khet's trough with pizza for that event. That, plus him taking the following night off to film one half-assed Patreon video, means the money is absolutely gone by now.

Not to revisit the tax write off stuff, but keep in mind that Phil is on a long-term repayment plan with the IRS, and last we heard he doesn't pay his current year's estimated taxes, but instead rolls that money over into the payment plan. So the IRS gets the original taxes owed, PLUS all the interest Phil racks up by blowing his income on gacha rather than paying on time. They're making a lot more on him this way than they would if he used his money wisely and/or was in jail (which as was discussed, almost never happens except in multi-billion dollar cases of tax evasion and fraud). So it's not really in their best interest to even investigate a small-time case like Phil's when they can keep milking the pig and he's either too addicted or stupid to change his spending.

Another well laid Phail trap

DSP's vlogging email address is registered as a Scopely account:

Here's the prompt if you enter in an email address that doesn't exist:

Try it yourself https://id.scopely.com/

Note - this does NOT mean DSP has registered it. I went ahead and registered the 'nonregisteredaccount@hotmail.com' at which point an email verification is sent, then went back to login and received the same prompt. So it's quite possible some gay-ops are happening to make it look like he's double dipping on the champions.

Nifty.

But what is the point of having 2 accounts? Asking as somebody that doesn't waste my life on gatcha mobile games, but wastes it here like a propper psycho nudnik.
Check my edit above. It means downfromtherafters is not necessarily tied to darksydephil@hotmail.com, anyone could register an account to any email address, and it will prompt 'let's get you in' even if the email verification has not been completed.

Agreed. Makes absolutely no sense.

The hotmail account is also in there.

Scopley had this "recruit a friend" thing to get extra pulls, and we know that Phil has no friends to begin with, so he probably made the second account just for that.
That is probably the answer. That or he will eventually show us the new account with about 3 hours of play time and no money spent and say that is his original account.
