Most of Phil's begging is based on having his life ruined by us where he needs his few fans to donate to keep his career going. He's said we were lying about the WWE Champions "meme" so many times that I don't think his ego could admit he was the liar. That would also call into question all of the other stories he's told. In addition, complaining about detractors is half of Phil's content. How would he fill the "podcast" if he couldn't do that (half-kidding)?

Too much for a narcissist to handle.

Phil is going to take his WWE Champions addiction to the grave. I would bet 1000 sweaty jpeg men on it.

So, a few months then. That skingout is going to leave a phil shaped mound of uric acid crystals this year, jasper will be swatting at it when Khet rolls in like a obese cellulite version of Katamari Damacy with mashed potatoes and corn dogs stuck to her.

Damn, your logic is sound!
Yeah, lots of people in this thread squeal about the incompetence of the court without mentioning this little detail.
As an outside observer without expertise or personal involvement, my impression is his debt was spread over so many banks it wasn't worth any one bank's time to demand what they were entitled to.

Yeah, I just can't put my finger on why the court should care...

True, but you do know (at least from Nitwit Nancy) that more work = bad and that these types of workers are just there for the easy money and pensions. They'll take one look at the guy and go "I dunno some video game player, not worth looking into it." and rest their snouts back to sleep (at their desk.)

If the people he actually owed money didn't care, why should the government care on their behalf?
He's on a payment plan, that's why he's not in jail. CC companies and the IRS pick jail as a last resort because being on a payment plan means they still get their money while being in jail means they get nothing. People like Phil are a gold mine for places like these because they'll spend the rest of their lives paying off debt that could have been paid off sooner if the person had some form of higher intelligence.

Couldn't he write it off on his taxes if he played it on the streams as a business expense?
Yes, he could. If Phil was streaming it. However, I still surmise that he's writing off WWE Champions on his business losses, like he does with his subscriptions to Xbox, Sony, Nintendo, etc...Why? Because he thinks that the idiots at the IRS won't spot it. However, all it would take is one forensic accountant to spot the crimson flags to look further into it. However, in everything Phil related, future Phil is gonna have to pay for the actions of past Phil.

However, it's gonna bite him in the ASS! All it would take it is a forensic accountant to spot the irregularities on his earning and loss reports that he has to submit to the IRS every year for them to go "Hmmm, that's interesting." However, the IRS is about "Give them rope, let them hang themselves." I'll give you an example: if you're making $30K a year, but you're writing off hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses in stocks, bonds, etc...normally, that's a red flag. Even if you were a doctor or lawyer for most of your professional career, that's unheard of to write off those kind of losses in one year and would constitute for a forensic accountant to step in and take a look at your ledger.

In Phil's case, there are NUMEROUS crimson flags that would make any accountant go "I want to see your ledger." The fact that Phil didn't have a separate business account that was separate from his personal checking account was a MAJOR flag that would make anyone go "Yeah, this isn't right." Do I think that day will ever come when Phil gets a letter from the IRS saying that they want to do a through investigation of his ledger? Not holding my breath, but weirder things have happened.

They should care, the IRS should care too as there's no way he's paying the proper taxes. He's including this personal expenditure as part of his business...

But they won't do it. All it would take is an IRS agent cross referencing Phils business accounts with the games he played on stream. They could probably do a year of streaming in a few days and build a case, but there are people who are far dumber than Phil who earn a lot more...

Phil takes his tahxes to an accountant every year rather than lifting a finger to do them himself. There's no way he's defrauding the IRS (or Washington state) because no strip-mall CPA is going to stick his neck out to help a pig falsify a couple thousand dollars' worth of taxes.

I think it is safe to say that on a yearly basis for the last few years he has spent on average, around $30,000 on WWE Champions, and I say this as there are events in a week he drops 1k+ on. If he is claiming over $30,000 in business losses every year and the person doing his taxes and the IRS haven't questioned this yet, then they never will. The fact is he has gotten away with tax fraud for so long (and bankruptcy fraud) that he thinks he is untouchable and let's face it, to this point he has been.

I sometimes think about the dope who tried to corner DSP during the bankruptcy phone call. Had he laid out some proper, simple questions, he could have gotten Phil to slip up real easy.

"You claim $5000 monthly in business expenses. Are you claiming your entire mortgage? From my investigation, you almost entirely use a single room in your house. Are you claiming all your utilities and Internet/TV bills? Does your wife not use these services as well? How does your water bill fit into your business? You have it here that you don't own any pets yet there is video evidence all over your channel that you own cat. I even found the original video in which you required thousands of dollars from your viewers to reveal this cat. Can you please itemize for us your average monthly spending that roughly makes up the $5000 you are claiming in business expenses, because based on dozens of hours spent watching your content, I am unable to figure out where this money is going?"

He just tells his “tax guy” that he has $5,000 of micro transactions per month.
He used it on his bankruptcy so it’s pretty safe to say he’s scamming his taxes with it too

This makes me wonder, has anyone gone through the bank leaks to see if a transaction to an accounting firm/company was made?
