If you get 60+ hours of enjoyment for that 60.00 then it's worth it. If not then I'd say it isn't.
If anyone here spends 60/70 dollars on a game and plays it for a month then they got their money's worth. Same goes for TJ
Guarantee he can’t get 60+ hours of enjoyment out of one card on a low-poly candy crush game. PLing myself here but I’m not exactly broke and even I balk at dropping $60 on a new steam game, and that’s a relatively high quality product and almost guaranteed it’ll keep my attention for a week or two.
There is no mental gymnastics in the universe that can properly justify even a $20 expense on a gatcha game. That money would be better spent on literally anything else.
Not trying to be an asshole to TJ here, just want to look out for our boy. I’m sure DSP said the same thing “oh it’s only $100 for this pack, and it’s on sale!” but that slippery slope rapidly turns into hundreds of thousands of dollars on gatcha and a humiliating bankruptcy thanks to the predatory escalating nature of these “games.”

Level headed take. Consenting adults and such, but just because you have the freedom to spend your money on stupid hedonistic bullshit doesn’t make it a good idea. Your social circles should be there to check you and advise you against it.
I’d recommend to anyone, instead of sending money to scopely, instead go to /biz/, find the hardest-shilled shitcoin on there, and buy 10k of that instead. You might end up getting rich, and if you don’t, at least you’ll have some nice memes to laugh at.
