Normally these mobile games make a new character tier when they've hit the ceiling creatively, plus they get to squeeze their whales all over again. I can see at least 2-3 serious beg sessions, where he might slip up at least once.

What's our best guess at what Phil has spent on this game by now?

Surely over a hundred thousand dollars total.

It's a serious addiction and going to ruin his life and I'm here for every minute of it.

It was like 40k just got get to his old VIP level so yeah. It's a safe bet its well over 100k by now. I'm sure there is a spreadsheet somewhere. @Pieceofpeace ?

Could get the spreadsheet and make a pretty basic estimate.

Unless we get another bank leak era we won't be able to get exact numbers anyway, and idk if @TJGamebox has used the Scopely science to track estimated spendings per month.

From the leaks we saw he spent $45000 (rounded up by 50) in a year and a half.

We can average that spending to $2500 minimum per month since then.

Since the leaks don’t have all of September I imagine an extra $1000 dollars was spent and unaccounted for before there leak cut off.

7 months since the leaks to the end of May using the average would be +$17500 for those 7 months.

And we know in June he’s spent $1500 already.

So unless we have better info somewhere with more accurate numbers we can at least get a reasonable idea of minimum spend.

So then:
-$45000 from bankleaks 03/01/20-09/17-21
-$1000 from remainder of September
-7 months using $2500 a month average
-Current month $1500 thanks to @TJGamebox

We get $65000 Total currently, spent ~$20k since October at minimum in my retarded opinion that means nothing but wanted to waste time before sleeping.

Enjoy a little autismal reading

You forgot the estimated $40,000 he spent BEFORE we discovered his account in mid-January of 2020. If we assume he's been spending a fairly constant $2,500 / month, which is probably in the right ballpark since the leaks go back to March 2020, we get $40,000 (spent up to mid - January 2020) + $2,500 / month * 30 months (mid January 2020 -> mid June 2022) we get $120,000 even.

Yeah I completely forgot about the before the bank account history, yeah if you add in that alone you'll get over $100k easy, I think $120k could easily be surpassable this year if it hasn't done already.

There's never been any creativity in this game. At release they were already releasing copies of wrestlers but with a new hat!

To think he has no power over an app on his phone. All he had to do was delete the app when the bankruptcy happened and use that as his eye opening event but, sadly, he couldn't do it.

Truth be told if he deleted this one there would just be another to take it's place because he has nothing else to occupy his time when he is off stream (in fact he may just be playing multiple games at once right now so our WWE champions tracking may be just one piece of the puzzle)

I saw a couple people recently bring up the fact that Phil mentioned that Kat played Scooply's Looney Tunes Gacha. So now that Kat isnt working, I'm sure that more of his money is going into other games aside from WWE. Thats why I cheer when Phil meets his goals, half of that money is going directly to Scopely one way or another.

What's hilarious to me is he spent that much money and he's not even in the top 10 or 20. I could excuse a wry wealthy

What's hilarious to me is that hes not even in the top like 20. Like I could kind of understand an extremely wealthy person fighting for the top spot. I could kind of understand that mindset. But Phil is neither wealthy or a top player.

I might also understand if it was an interesting game with a lot of entertainment value. It's fucking bejeweled but easier.

Hes like a 50 year old house wife who found Farmville. And even that's more understandable than Phil. This dude is just so messed up in so many ways. I never really followed Phil until the last few months. And now I understand why people lol and talk about him. He's so interesting as a look into human behavioral problems and deviance.

this game looks gay as fuck
What? What isn't manly and heterosexual about men getting naked and oiled up and thrashing around on the floor together while other men pay for jpegs of the whole thing?

That would be sort of like an Arab prince dropping a million on baccarat in a night in Vegas because he just doesn't give a shit and it doesn't even matter. Like a punter would drop $50 on some idiotic exacta bet that won't come in but would make ten grand if it did.

But no, this dumb bastard is in heavy debt because of it and actively making his life and future worse. But it's okay, because that's future Phil's problem.

It's because wrasslin is GAY
Not all wrasslin...

There was something I didn't notice initially: Phil's Champions account was created in February of 2017 and we found it in January of 2020 when it was worth about $40,000. If we round that up to 3 years even (which lowballs his monthly spending) he was spending $40,000 / 36 months = $1,111.11 / month. Compare that with $2,500 / month in 2020 -> present and it's pretty obvious where the money he got out of the begruptcy really went.

Disclaimer right up front, these numbers are not quite accurate because they assume he stopped paying the Connecticut mortgage and credit cards in January of 2020 instead of mid-2019 and October 2019 respectively, but it's the best I can do without bank leaks dating back to May 2019 and should be in the right ballpark.

We know his pre-begruptcy spending was $1,100 / month based on the simple math above. However, because he got "extra" money by defaulting on his mortgage and credit cards in 2019, I feel comfortable saying his spending was close to the $2,500 / month mark in the last 2 months of 2019 because he had already stopped paying the debts which would be discharged in bankruptcy.

This means we can say he was spending slightly less, about $1,029 / month, before defaulting on his credit cards; this is equivalent to saying his spending on Champions jumped by $1,500 / month just from not paying his credit cards anymore. Since he had $131,550 in credit card debt per the begruptcy filing, we can calculate his monthly payments as 1% of the principal + all accrued interest based on this site; assuming 24%APR his monthly credit card payments were just under $3,800 / month. If we divide the $1,500 /month increase in his WWE spending into the $3,800 / month it all means he spent nearly forty percent of all his discharged debts on this fucking game. The kicker is that number is still conservative because it ignores the increase in spending that would have come after he defaulted on the Connecticut mortgage (i.e. the real spending history would be even lower than $1,029/month before mid-2019 and would have jumped when he stopped paying his mortgage).

He had spent a  minimum of $40k at that point, based on the amount required to get VIP level 13, starting from VIP 7. Thing is, levels 8-13 were added a couple of years after the game started.

So Phil had already spent to get to VIP 7 and was then spending while at the max level. Until the new ones were added.

I'd wager that he's easily spent $100k by now, especially given that he was dumping thousands into it monthly even as the bankruptcy was ongoing.
