So just to make this clear for the slow in class (me), he could easily have spend $200K-$250K on mobile gatcha games and maybe even as much as $300K in total?
We just don't know because there are too many unknowns. Would Phil have spent that much on gacha if he had unlimited funds? Absolutely, no argument here. What we don't are his exact income between 2013 and ~2016 (not sure if we have every year after that but @EddyB43 was meticulous about this stuff when he was active on here), whether his gacha problem has always been as bad as it is now, spending on Leanna (who was high maintenance compared to Kat), other money sinks like the fighting game statues, when he started taking out credit cards post-move to Renton, when interest on those cards started to accrue faster than his ability to get new lines of credit, and when those cards were maxed out. I wish I had a better answer for you but the best I can say is "almost certainly over $100,000".

Edit:
Possibly since over a million in earnings went somewhere and there's nothing to show for it other than gay statues.
This theory has the same issue as the "Phil spent $300,000 on gacha" one: there are tons of unknowns and Phil has never been 100% honest even when he was putting much more of his life on vlogs + Instagram. I agree the money had to go somewhere that has little or nothing to show for it but that does not have to be gacha - to use the other laughably high expenses from the bank leaks it could just as easily have been delivery + liquor. We know from his own vlogs that his cooking abilities are minimal and he keeps much more alcohol around the house than most men.

What's crazy is that his idiocy prevents it from being much higher, because...This is how we know this addiction isn't actually more powerful than the others, it's just the one that's easiest to spend so much on. His others aren't relenting in order to accommodate it, at all. In fact, it's probably a constant brawl in his head.
It's the addiction he's currently gushing from the financial jugular the most heavily due to the barrier to satiation of it being the lowest for all of DSP's current ones, great point.

How is it hard to explain? His narrative on-stream is that viewers need to donate because he is one missed tips goal away from being unable to pay his bills. If it came out that he's been receiving more than enough to make up the difference, it might scare some of the small donors away - from Phil's perspective any donor walking away is unacceptable even if it's not one of the whales.

Equally importantly it would mean admitting that the Farms was right. Rule #1 of DSP is that the trolls must never win even if it means making a fool out of himself.

Just this one game; he has also mentioned playing Marvel Future Fight, WWE Supercard, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and Dokkan Battle on his own time and briefly played Hearthstone on stream. He may have played WWE Immortals as well but there is no way to know for certain because the servers were shut down just over 3 years ago.

The reason we are focusing so much effort on tracking Phil's spending in Champions specifically is that anybody can view player profiles (here is his) and leaderboards which really helped us estimate his spending to date when the profile was first discovered along with spending on every event since then. @actually did some digging into Phil's Marvel Future Fight profile and might be able to give you an estimate of his spending in that game but many of the other gacha games we know he's played provide too little information to give even a rough estimate.
Has Phil ever asked for prepaid Visa or amazon credits in public?

I know that that he has begged people to send him Playstation/Xbox/Nintendo credits a number of times before (purportedly to afford new games),but if he were to refund those then the refunded money would go back to the original buyer (ie the one who donated them to him) and not him.

I suppose that he could be selling them at dubious gamekey websites at a loss, but it strikes me unlikely that he would do that given his sloth.

While it's certainly a high estimate it's not in the realm of impossibility, but more likely the figure is about half of that ($125.000-$150.000).

Sorry, I meant hard for HIM to explain, should Fehu decide to reveal to everyone that he has indeed been getting tons of gift cards behind the scenes, while pretending in public that he's struggling to even so much as buy games.

Not to mention, were he honest about how many he gets, from the beginning, it would draw attention to the validity of the Champions thing. Why else would he be wanting gift cards instead of people gifting him the games? He knows damn well that if we see him begging for, and receiving, hundreds of dollars a month in gift cards, we're going to figure out what it's actually for.

What I'm curious about, is why anyone would be going along with this. It's not like handing him a gift card is much different from handing him money, you don't have a guarantee of where it's going. And with it being private, they don't get the satisfaction of sticking it to us jackasses.

I'll always wonder what he would've done with all that money, had he not gotten into mobile games. Nothing good, of course, but it'll remain an interesting mystery forever.

Nah, couldn't ever get a good number on it, but I think someone had played the game and gave a rough guesstimate of like $5-10k.

Just from Phil's refusal to give an estimate himself on those old forums, we can easily assume it was at least that much. Hard to imagine it being considerably more, though, just from observing how Champions works. It seems to be the peak of "How much money will our players spend if we let them?"

I mean shit, when we found his account, we were able to calculate that it absolutely had $40k minimum pumped in to get to where it was. That's quite a bit more than I can fathom the others leaving room for.

No need to guesstimate, the bank leaks gave us the exact amount he spent on micropayments - $44,950.30 over 18.5 months on gross income of roughly of $130k/year (source). That works out to just under $2,430 a month
I just want to point out that for the amount he spent huffing electronic jockstraps in that time period alone, he could have leased a high-end BMW and gotten a hair transplant.

DSP is not in top 100, BUT I can confirm he was playing during his break. The bottom showdown started at 3pm est. that means during his hour break he was playing!

He’s halfway there

The dude just doesn't give a shit any more. I'm surprised he doesn't play during his streams, honestly.

What's hilarious is that I know what he's thinking. "I have to keep up my standing in this game." Which is like me thinking I need to post so much to maintain my status as most prolific. I don't even know if I am, I'm just a chatty motherfucker. My brain, if nothing else, is a generator of words.

For Phil, his whole life is revolving around this. I mean think about that. It's one thing when you care too much about a particular thing that only takes up time. Like posting on social media. Phil is hardly the only person with that problem, it's pretty normal. What isn't, is sinking so much money, everyday, year after year, that ones life is dictated by it. For the simple reason of it feeling necessary to maintain it.

Fake internet points aren't worth the time some will invest into chasing them, and they're especially not worth several years and over $100,000. That's essentially what runs Droopy's life: the pursuit of fake internet points. He even recognizes this, because he's mortified at the thought of sharing it with more than just the retards who do the same thing in Champions.

DSP grinded to max the versus part of the event. Was up til 3am his time too!

It would be amazing if someone managed to sneak their way into that shit-filled faction and see what kind of communication takes place. I'd be willing to bet a very insignificant amount of pennies that one could easily pinpoint the very same text-mannerisms he has in his gulag chat.
