Yes he did and it is as awful as you are probably thinking - here is a link to the main page. If you have any doubt that this was really Phil notice that he signed every. single. page. with "DSP". I don't know if web.archive.org is just that great or others were just that autistic but the links on there still work and will take you to archives of all his other posts.

At least to me the aesthetic and edginess make me think he was trying to imitate Maddox - "Top Haters" was active from around 2003-2005, so right around the height of BPITU's popularity. There was also a forum (link here) but it was basically dead: many threads got just one or two replies and it looks like posts stop altogether in late 2003 even though the forum existed until 2005.

I read through most of the site and found it to be more cringe than funny - edgelord stuff from a guy who was getting too old for it and FGC commentary that was impenetrable to anyone who is not familiar with that scene.

Phil has never once demonstrated the ability to think of an original idea, and his lack of interest in pretty much anything other than food and gacha tells us why that is: it's all fake. The idiot has been wanting the world to acknowledge how amazing he thinks he is for pretty much his entire life, and will resort to anything lazy to get that. That's why he sucks at selling things, he doesn't want to try and look like he's not copying Maddox, or the AVGN, or jumping on the latest bandwagon when it comes to video game opinions. The only reason he stuck with recording himself sucking at games for this long is because it happens to be the laziest thing he could do and actually make money at it. He never had a passion for it, any more than he has ever had a passion for anything productive.

Just one more way in which his unfathomably spoiled nature shows its ugly head. He can't even be bothered to like things that take time, dedication, discipline, and effort. Wouldn't be so bad if he didn't simultaneously insist on being massively rewarded for his lack of exertion.

Even if it's not important, I decided to spend all normal coins I had hoarded on one character just to see from first hand the scaling in terms of that currency (TP for moves and coins for levels).
Maybe there's a list out there, but I'm pretty sure Scopely changed something some weeks or months ago in the upgrades, so this is just an experiment to see it directly.

Note that I somehow got extremely lucky with the F2P rewards, and managed to get a 4 star Gold female wrestler, so I could do this without bothering with the tokens (needed for upgrading the stars).

Don't know why at some points it goes back and forth, I don't think I messed up, but regardless, it's insane. Her level cap at 4SG is nowhere near close to what I reached, and it's already demanding +200K per level.
The total coins for doing this was 12,126,830.

Imagine a 5 star Gold, every time DSP upgrades one of his top characters his resources' spendings must be astronomic. And don't forget about the tokens, that's the worst part of the game and I didn't have to bother with it for this.

What makes it interesting is that Phil's sickness isn't just addiction to a mobile game, it's his insatiable need to flex, to display that he's better than you. That why he has put up with so much shit for almost two years now, and has such intense fear of it being known around the world that THIS is what makes him feel good about himself.

Phil has been playing this kind of shit for at least eight years, and I would venture to guess that it's probably more like over a decade. In all that time, he has been very cagey about how much money he has spent on pay-to-win mobile games. Well we know from his bank statements that he cannot possibly have been ignorant of his waste all these years. He has most definitely thrown over $100,000 right down the toilet, for flexing purposes, and he doesn't get to stand proud of it, in public, because he knows it's nothing to be proud of in the least.

It's crazy how he can be so aware and keep going. A true testament to how much Phil is not a loser from being oblivious, but from being an asshole. Explains why so much of what he shares is fake and what he doesn't is real, why he doesn't use his legit dealings with MidFirst for pitybux but will gladly pretend his cat is sick for them. Everything he wants in public is meant to make him look good, and anything truthful has to be buried, because he knows exactly how much he does things the wrong way. He just doesn't care.

(Phil's account was renamed to "System_1" after it was deleted, you can tell it's him because the other posts quoting him still refer to "DarkSydePhil").

So if there was an exile it was either just a temp ban or the mods somehow did not notice an obvious sock account. Neither of those makes sense to me because two years is a long time for a temp ban (if I were hit with a suspension that long I'd go "screw it, that's too long, I'm never coming back") and Phil was so radioactive that he'd have been reported the second his sock account appeared.

I swear, there is not a single flaw in his personality that doesn't go back ages. Has me seriously wondering about what his high school days would've been like if he had had the balls to run his mouth there, which he more than likely didn't. The only thought Teenage Phil had of the distant future was of when he would get to be himself without any consequences, and the only reason it came for him at all was after he discovered what he could get away with on the internet. It wasn't much, obviously, because running his mouth and engaging in unethical practices had consequences, but it was more than he had while being supervised.

Mind you, I could forgive everything about Pre-YouTube Phil if it weren't for the fact that Grumpy Old Phil isn't an improvement. I'm only two years younger than him, so I understand how someone with his upbringing can act like that in the early 2000s. What I don't tolerate is his lack of recognition that his upbringing was shit, and that he needed to grow up. I know all about how hard it can be, to have to basically raise oneself, but Phil runs from less challenging things like they're a horde of zombies. I remember that one vlog where he was talking about not knowing to rotate couch cushions before, he had no resentment towards his parents over that. There was no hint of "Thanks for nothing, Mom and Dad" in his voice whatsoever. He has no ill-will towards them, not for their actual failings at least. The fact you're even considering he actually has legal fees shows the lies were worth it for Phil. He just needs the dozen clowns who financially support him to believe he has to pay a lawyer $1500 to do....whatever....and he gets paid. Following the recent scams of the sick cat (who he never took to the vet) and the $1000 shower head (which never fixed). That's why he the scam never ends and Scopely keeps cashing it.

Literally my only theory that fits with the evidence at this time is you have to have wanted to be the pushed person in a squash match at one point in your life, at least I think that's the appeal at the DSP gambling addict level of the game. Lapsed fans from the Monday Night War era reclamation is the only reason this game exists at all I suspect, so you being in the target profile of who they want playing and avoiding the siren call of random number generation for cash just means you're probably not autistic?

Things like that are basically a slot machine, that is to say a gambling apparatus with a random licence or theme slapped over it. They could very easily just change the graphics and make it NBA Champions or F1 Champions. The vast majority of people will give up once they hit the paywall and spend little or nothing, but Scopely are fine with that because all they need to do is ensure they ensnare the 0.1% of mega whales and they're rolling in money.
