I'm willing to bet the ultra high grocery bills are just legit grocery bills.
How could they possibly be? We've seen Kat's "cooking" and there's nothing expensive in there. Just lots of potatoes, the cheapest thing there is. And we know she only cooks 5 days a week or so - typically they'll eat at restaurants every meal on the "big day out" each week, and then have another all-Doordash day.
I'd be more convinced of the "wasting expensive food" theory if we ever once saw Phil flex about ingredients or anything like that. But it's always the other way around, he'll talk about "Muh Wife handmade some custom adult pasta with ground beef" and of course it's just Hamburger Helper. If his grocery bills are really groceries, he'd be throwing away absolutely massive quantities of cheap food every week, and even the Pig isn't that stupid.

I still think the most plausible explanations are that Phil's hoarding unwatched blu-rays again or buying Kat gift cards for her own gacha.

It's obvious he wants to. He wants to prove he has to spend as much as he does but knows that he can't. He used to "flex" (god I hate that word) his wealth with all the shit he bought.

But now, with him crying poor for years at this point, he knows he can't flex anymore. And without the receipts, he has to just sit there, unable to take pride in his life
Youtube and steaming are known for making people nigger rich and the fact that people who do this were broke when they started they spend like retards. DSP like many others probably look back at all the money they earned and spent probably angers him god knows he probably earned amounts he won't say.

I think you actually hit the nail on the head with the blu-ray comment. Phil buys tons of food that looks good, but instead of cooking it, he orders Door Dash or him and Khet have some potato based meal. Phil buys tons of blu-rays, including full TV series of arguably pretty good shows, but instead of watching them, he'll watch some wrestling event instead. Even when he actually does something with Khet and watches something with her, it's a YouTuber or something on Netflix, nothing from his collection. His video game collection is similar too, instead of playing/replaying any of the numerous games he owns, maybe even playing some of the ones with multiplayer options with Khet, he keeps pumping thousands into Champions.

I'd also point to his computer. Phil bought an expensive computer. He'll flex about how he used to host LANs and build his own PC's, but when it comes time to stream, he's playing on console.

I think Phil does try and flex about the food he buys, it's just harder for him because he really has no cooking knowledge. With a PC, he at least knows some common terms, with his blu-ray collection it's even easier, he just has to title drop the names of series/movies other people have said are good without actually describing the plot or anything. Phil also spending an exorbitant amount of money on something is a flex of its own. He spends $200+ on groceries every week because he's a mature adult, and, in his mind, mature adults buy expensive things, whether it's food, games, electronics, statues etc.

I don't think it's a case of Phil buying a bunch of cheap food. I think it's a case of Phil buying pricier items on impulse *and* buying cheap food. When he isn't door dashing or eating out at an overpriced restaurant, he or Khet will cook, aka microwave, the cheap food. To give them some credit, maybe they even try to do something with the more expensive items they purchase but it still comes out looking like garbage because they're both bad cooks. Then the rest just get tossed, just like how Phil threw away all that beef(?) in that one Cooking with the King video. But I will agree that it is possible they're buying other stuff, since we know his chain has more than just groceries. I just don't think he'd randomly decide that, instead of just using PayPal to immediately buy pulls, he instead decides on his one day off to go through the extra process of buying a gift card to buy his pulls instead.

Some said when describing whale behaviour that it really is to them the amount the spend to get somthing. So if he has a blue ray collection worth say thousands, a game library worth give thousands. To DSP this is proof of his 'wgalling' and thus his 'status' this is why he then sees himself as this 'true' gamer over the fakes who get it all for free.

Isn't that the WWE streamer with the youtube videos?

I imagine, even with such a big player base, having let's say 50 players in a 100k teritory doesn't sound unreasonable.

Of course, leave it to Phil to be just average between those playas lol

I've talked with Guersan on PMs, I think he's genuinely a nice guy.

He answered my questions and tried to be helpful when I was just a random person asking stuff out of nowhere. It's the complete opposite of DSP when he gets bitchy on Twitter or his own chat.

Wasn't trying to shit on the guy, but I thought I saw that name already. From the 30 sec of clips here, he seems nice, yea. Good for him I guess, Phil would love to be in this guys position lol

This is the best part of the whole saga. Phil makes money from streaming games and is one of Scopely's biggest customers but he won't make any money off of this game because he's too toxic to form a business relationship with Scopely and he's too prideful to admit that he is Rafters. Literally the only way he could legitimize spending as much on gay JPGs as a house would be if he were making more than he spent on it and he won't do it. He is a fucking retard.

I have an idea for the writers: identity theft guy comes back, and using all of Phil’s info and some social engineering ninja skills, steals Phil’s WWE champions account.

Seeing him squirm for weeks but not being able to tell what’s going on would be just gold. Imagine him making up a fake health problem or something to explain why he’s been so down on the streams lately.

We would need access to Phil's phone for the 2FA (what do you mean I need a code?)
Otherwise it could be possible.

It's funny to imagine, but Phil most likely has a whale groomer at Scopely who would help him fix all that right away. You'd have to completely steal Phil's identity and intercept all his lines of communication to successfully steal the account.

Getting him banned would be much easier for anyone willing to commit crimes.

I'm not sure how that would work. Champions is connected to your device, there is no password to log to the game (App) with the exception of their Web portal, which requires email and a password with a minimum of 47 bits of entropy (around there, unless he uses a Mrstupid variation).

The portal also allows the users to recover their progress in case they lose it (in theory, but you know Scopely). If you do not hack that account, he should be able to recover it.

Although if you're successful in permanently stealing his account, you'd be doing him a great favor. Like an actual best friends favor by taking this away from him.

It's also linked to your Facebook account, which we know Phil has.

But it doesn't matter, because there is literally someone at Scopely whose job it is to make sure Phil keeps whaling. If someone tries to hack Phil, they'll just call up HQ and have them roll back the database or do whatever else it takes.

You're right, I was just making sure to mention ScopelyID since it's the new and easiest way that was implemented recently:

This is news to me. What new faction is this?
