WWE Champions General - Despite his claims, DSP is still spending thousands of dollars on the WWE Champions mobile game

I would guess that a good chunk of the "good" players in these mobile games are fake accounts programmed in to push real players to spend more money.
This really does look like a bug though, not fakery. No whale is going to believe that there's legitimately someone with a million times more points than them. I mean, there's probably not enough money on the planet for that.

Like if you need to be top 20 in an event to win a prize, they could keep putting bots into the top 20 ahead of you everytime you get close so you have to keep spending. You could drop a million dollars into the game and they would generate bot accounts to sit ahead of you in the rankings.

I would bet that when an actual whale like dsp shows up, they do a lot of manipulation to squeeze even more out of him, like reduce his pull rates and put more dummy accounts in front of him to compete with.
I've been a part of mobile game team and they do things like this. Not this specific scenario, but there's definitely lots of fake accounts to boost various numbers. And Scopely is at the top of scummy practices, so it's a good bet.

We know games reduce pull rates when you spend more, too.

Also, just a theory here, could Phil be sharing this account with someone? It's not uncommon for Youtubers to pay someone to share their account with to do grindy stuff for them, while they make videos splurging on packs and high-priced content. This would fulfill the semantic way Phil loves to weasel talk his way out of things since it's not technically his account.

With how utterly paranoid he is about EVERYTHING, there's no way that he would share any kind of account information with anyone. Even with his weasely ways, he is just going to continue to deny it until he absolutely fucks up and proves it's his account all by himself.

I don't know if they're fake players but there's definitely some fuckery going on with those numbers.

The #1 guy (love that he has a picture of himself as his avatar) has 4 wrestlers with a talent level of 2,147,483,647 each, despite being lower-rarity. What's the significance of 2,147,483,647? It's the largest number a 32-bit integer can be, and is used in this game as the highest talent level for a wrestler. "Talent level" is just used a summation of how high all their skills have been leveled, and generally goes up when a wrestler improves its rarity level too. Rarity goes 1-star bronze, 1-star silver, 1-star gold, then 2-star bronze, etc etc, and the highest level in the game at the moment is 5-star gold. DownFromTheRafters highest talent level for anyone is 22,787 for his 5-star gold Triple H, then 21,200 for his IMMORTAL Hulk Hogan. Everything past that is 5-star silver or lower.

#'s 2 - 7 on that list all have one wrestler at an impossiblle 2,147,483,647 for a single wrestler, which puts their talent level slightly above the 2,147,483,647 range. So these 7 are all hackers or somehow have glitched talent levels, and the fact that Scopely puts this on display on their website is a testament to how incompetent they are.

#8 is fake too, he has talent levels in the 80k point range for 4-star gold wrestlers which shouldn't be possible if 5-star golds have ~22-25k.

#9 looks like the first legit player, with a total talent level of 4,792,966 and no glitched numbers in his top 5. His top 5 are all minimum 5-star gold, unlike DSP who only has two of them at 5G. His individual talent levels are higher too, with three of them at 25,146, compared to the 22,787 that DSP has for his top character. Even more insane is that he has 349 characters, while DownFromTheRafters "only" has 323! So DSP doesn't even have every character in the game!

I'm not going to sperg out past that but this is an indicator that as much time and money as Phil has spent on the game, there's whales that have spent EVEN MORE. Still, if you take out the top 8 hackers/cheaters/glitchers from that leaderboard, that means Phil is in the top 20 at #17.

Ehh while I don't think this is out of Scopely's moral compass, the top placers are always in the same factions -Top Tier Booty, The Haven, NEWESTDay (I am so ashamed I know this). Communication seems pretty important in the top factions, so it would be hard for them to hide a sleeper in there. But who fucking knows with this game honestly.

I doubt they're hackers, like people have already said that number is not a coincidence and hints to Scopely's incompetence when it comes to design and programming. Already mentioned how they leak players' User IDs for no reason whatsoever, it's an incomplete website.

So I searched those first 3 players in the game, as you'd expect:

This is what happens when the game doesn't load properly sometimes (not the first time I see something like this).
Face melting fun for everyone.

Whatever happened to that guild 'grimcreepers' or however it's spelled? Back during the time whenever wwe champions tweeted and a ton of replies were phil gifs there were also tweets bitching about the grimcreepers and all the preferential treatment they seemed to get. They used to top the scoreboard ALOT too. But nowadays I don't see a single one of them whenever someone posts a contest result to see how bad phil has failed from reaching the top 10.

Fair enough! I should have given them the benefit of the doubt for not trying to hack the game, it's just Scopely's incompetent website. Still, you know these whales care VERY MUCH about being at the top of this leaderboard, so you'd think Scopely would do a little better to make sure this site works right. They haven't spent six figures on this game for nothin'! You know in his cold, black heart that DSP is more proud of being in the top 20 for this game than his 4th place at EVO or his 13 Year Legacy.

  • He's always active.
  • There's always events in Champions (to spend money).
There's this archive if you want to see his progression, I think it has most of the days but it's not 100%:
https://archive.vn/https://wwechampions.com/player/DownFromTheRafters

Checking his in game profile:

But for some reason this time is either not updated, or the website has an error. I'm looking right now in the App, he's at 3,428,803, but the website or latest archive puts him at 3,459,488.

It's usually the opposite, the website updates later than the game, but this is Scopely so you don't really know what exactly is broken.
Edit: I think it's the website.

This is amazing. No matter how Phil spends, he can’t win because either Scopley or other players cheat. He’s a modern day Sysyphos, pushing that boulder up the hill - except he has to grease it with dollah bills.

As much as Phil has spent in WWE Champions, he's never come close to winning an event, he's never been in a faction that respects him, likes him, or views him more than the weirdo with the open wallet. At least with most whales, they're in a top guild and find stupid pride in working together burning all their money. There's no reason or enjoyment in spending as much as he has on this game.

Hackers or exploiters always killed games for me. What's the point of even playing when someone is cheating? If I was whaling a game and saw a stat so completely out to lunch like that full integer number I'd quit. Either the game is irreparably broken or it's hacked, or at least the leaderboard is hacked.

I'm fairly certain his highest placing in the ranking is something like 4th place, truly a monumental achievement for Phil.

Back when this discovery was in its infancy and he was run out of his top tier guild, he was mentioned as being 'a good player with an open wallet'. That's it, that's his legacy up until everything gets deleted when it no longer becomes profitable and the 100k+ he's dumped in this slot machine goes up in smoke and he has absolutely zero to show for it except for a massive black hole of debt.

AEW now has their own Mobile game. I saw an ad for it saying CM Punk was just added (Dark's favorite wrestler ever)

Has anyone checked it out? Is the spending about to double?

Notice on the website looking at Sons of Smackdown faction. Phil is ranked 3rd and this guy is ranked above him. Be a real shame if someone doxxed him.

That game looks like it takes a small degree of creativity and effort to play. It's going to be a hard sell for Phil.

DSP was in Uselessness, a top tier faction, when the leaks first started coming out. A lot of the top factions seem to have a "family", with feeder factions for lower levels (people who already maxed their CCs.) For big events, it seemed normal for top spenders to leave their current factions and team up. That all came crashing down when a gang of internet trolls decided to fuck with Phil's life behind the scenes, and he was ostracized from the top faction community, forced to live out his days with the poors in a sub 100 faction.
