OT: For people who were wondering why "D S P"
It's because he really liked Rob Van Dam aka RVD (notorious pot smoker btw) and wanted a nickname he can shorten to three letters so he can do the hand point thing.
I tried to find the clip in question but shitty memory and: Found 167 results for 'RVD'. Displaying 1 - 50 at pigpiggo. So take my words with some heaps of salt.
Story checks out.
Also this boring motherfucker tells the same origin story every 3 months since he started streaming on Twitch and still no one cares or remembers

RVD is a detractor meme since he's Polack and was raised near where Katherine lived in Michigan.

The King of Hate will always be the faggiest nickname in existence, anyway.

DSP's guild has a rat

This is why you hang out and lay low and then dump shit anonymously through a mod here or something.

Still, I hope we get something good.

This guild shit's autistic. It makes sense for real games but here its just a way to circlejerk whales into outspending each other.

But yeah events are usually designed (in gacha) that you gotta spend an hour or so a day or a few hours on the weekends. Usually its designed so that you can easily get the normal rewards but really gotta degen for the good shit. Hence why Phil feels so obligated to whale out.

Does Champions have a freemium currency? I know theres health packs or some dumb shit but can you stockpile them from events/dailies? Or do you have to start emptying your wallet to continue grinding.

Someone who Champions how many rounds can you go a day for free? Is an hour amd a half plus doable for free?

It speaks to just how horribly addicted to this specific game the fact that Phil hasn't given it up as a lost cause by this point and found a new one that he can actually hide in. Especially when he knows has blown $40k on it, and it isn't even the first time he has found himself hooked on a mobile game. FFS, the only time he has ever fucked up and actually copped to it is when he talked on camera about having a mobile gaming problem. He doesn't do it now, but he has admitted to past addiction, which is still more than he admits to 99% of the time.

I mean, even his gin-addled brain is capable of recognizing just how hopeless it is with Champions at this point. There will never be a time where he can relax and not worry about detractors bothering him in-game. He'll never get into a high level guild he can flex in, no without it being inevitably ruined. It's over. He can end the nightmare by moving on, but he just won't do it. It's even sadder than the fact he played this shit for more than five minutes.

Yet another reason to believe that it really is Phil. Who the fuck would keep trying to play this when being harassed constantly by trolls? Most normal people (and I include many not-so-normal kiwis too) would just say "fuck this" and walk away from this game. But Phil probably feels like he "can't let the trolls win!", and so he keeps on beating a dead horse.

If you're going to play enough to contend in events, you'll eventually need to pay for health packs. Factions can also help in healing your wrestlers. And if you're a whale with 4 star gold wrestlers, you'll need to heal much less. It's all a cycle that's based on you paying.

Thing is, they've already won, but leave it to him not to see that all he has to do is find a new game and NOT pick such an incriminating name next time. That's it. He would get the last laugh if he did that. He would win the war.

It's like he LIKES being in these situations.

So what I gather here is, DePhil is bound to Champions is that he genuinely like the game, wrestling and being an "open wallet" player which gets him in-game clout and respect.

He still insists on playing Bejeweled Champions because it gives him a feel that he is a .png wrasslers manager and they win in DSP's name. His account carries his stream handle is also how DSP highly places DSP namesake above a lot of other things.

Damn if anything else, I start to think the discharge will encourages and enable DSP to sink deeper in the irresponsibly quagmire and exposes a lot more what DSP wants to hide from the detractors. His one delight is now contaminated with 🥝 s and detractors.

I truly pity him at this point.

DSP has left the Road Warriorz. No info on if they mutually decided that he could leave.

Edit: Seems like there's a Faction Feud starting May 16th at 4PM Pacific. Probably got picked up by a better team for the event.

Look at his reaction when confronted with the idea of his Minecraft world being deleted, and he got paid to do that. No way is he washing his hands of an alleged $40k account and starting over elsewhere.

Plus now it's a pitiful matter of pride. Detractors want him to quit so now he'll not only spend the money for the dopamine rush but to also stick it to detractors...sounds kind of familiar doesn't it?

What an abject loser. He is a pariah in a group of people who by all rights should care about nothing but his wallet. He can't even buy his way into a fucking gacha guild.

All he needs to do is own up to it and he just won't for some reason. It's pathetic.

What I don't understand is why this whole wwe champions thing didn't hurt him at all. He's making more money than ever now in fact.

I figured when it was proven to be him and on an account that has invested now over $40,000 that even some of most loyal fans would be completely disgusted by him.

He spent the last few years in dire financial trouble and has yet been consistently spending hundreds a week on this game in secrecy while holding fundraiser events pleading with everyone to help him pay his taxes and save his home.

If you donated to him to "save him" and find out he was blatantly taking advantage of you by lying about where the money is going (to a mobile game of all things) shouldn't you be royally pissed?

The wwe champions thing is even a meme now among his own loyalists during his streams. They know all about it and yet don't care; still dropping thousands on him. His fanbase are deranged and I can't comprehend how he faced no backlash for this.

The small group of fans that cares about Phil probably doesn't believe it/has convinced themselves its a detractor. The ones who meme it are probably the fans who "ironically" like Phil for how bad he is or Tevin watchers or something.

Keep in mind, the average Phil fan really doesn't know anything outside of what Phil says. If there was some twisted world where DSP trivia was a thing, detractors would hands down win every time against a fan. Once in a blue moon, there's the odd paypig who sees the light after someone brings up evidence against him, but so few of the fans actually care about Phil to begin with that they don't bother looking into it. For a decent chunk of fans, they're already projecting onto Phil and making their own reality that the truth just doesn't matter. Admitting Phil is a scumbag means admitting the detractors aren't mean bad guy bullies that they can heroically take down by supporting Phil. Their narrative has already been written for years, so they're not going to let anything like facts or the truth derail their LARPing

You would think that Phil's paypigs and regular viewers would have noticed that he raises money to pay "taxes" but then still owes the taxes later, he's paranoid enough to lie about having a cat, he lied about being bankrupt (oh no, he just said it was "nonsense" from detractors), etc. And the lies are all documented---DSP talks for a living and changes his stories constantly, which is why YouTube channels can churn out videos almost daily mocking all the contradictions and lies. Yet still, some of DSP's fans donate hundreds of dollars EVERY MONTH for YEARS. So, the idea that people here documenting him spending their donations on gacha games rather than his bills will be what finally makes them see the light, well....nothing ever will.

I would understand it if there was an endgame, but there isn't. There's no finish line, you just spend money until you stop spending money or Scopely shuts the game down, and either way, the money is still a waste. He doesn't justify the expense by doing anything, let alone continuing to spend, because spending more only accomplishes one thing: giving detractors a bigger number to laugh at Phil with.

Like I said, he has already lost. Refusing to move on means only that he keeps being defeated.

This fucking guy...
Loyalty rarely exists within these guilds filled with whales. Most of them will bounce around at the slightest hint of accruing more clout or game resources. Guilds are not about teamwork or any of that. That's what happens when you share a hobby with the addicted and mentally disturbed.

Look at it another way - are the people still giving Phil tons of money really the kind of people you want around as your fanbase?

If you really want to make big money, there are ways - you just have to completely and utterly degrade yourself and your sense of worth as a human being in society.

You know that classic image of a guy playing some kind of hand-crank music box and he has a pet monkey dancing? Phil is the monkey.
