Anecdote time:
I was working for some guys and I think the meme flu is really a class thing.
The younger but lower ranking guy who works for Astra Zeneca didn't care much about me being vaccinated or wearing the meme mask. Even if he has to get his temp check when he goes to work and wear meme mask there as well.

The more posh higher ranking guy at a Bus factory is all about asking about vaccinations and had to wear the meme mask in his home.

Funny how this seems to be more of a social signifier than health choice on some level. Of course, people are being strong armed into it. At least I am glad that the place I am in handled this thing super chill compared to the rest of the planet. Especially the UK and Ireland.

Ultimately I do believe that different groups really live in different values and that their culture basically makes them alien to the outsider.

The funny thing is, if there was a deadly virus that kills millions people would be rushing to getting vaccinated. Like there would be Black Friday style fights over it. Like if you turn off the media and ignore the creepy propaganda posters it's like everything is fine. Maybe because it is.

Sadly it is a thing people have already made up their mind about it. Pro Covid people will fight for their position to the last.

I think the memeflu would have never gotten off the ground without Social Media. People basically got invited to play with the narrative early on, thus making it real. In their mind. lol

Social media and its takeover of the internet was absolutely key, they tried before, most notably with the whole swine flu but people back then were still too grounded in reality and based to accept the hoax.

It sure came in handy that Social Media got turned into the arbiter of the truth with permission to censor anything. Not to mention people got conditioned to believe anything outside the mainstream news are basically lies and hoaxes or as Eric Blair would put it "fake news".

what did they expect that the virus will never adapt to any kind of immunity aren't they expert?
Supposedly the argument is that if they vaccinated everyone ASAP they could wipe it out before it mutates enough to adapt.
However this is dumb for 3 reasons:
1) The virus mutates exceptionally fast, in fact lineages with resistance to vaccines are already here (see Israel)
2) Even if you did vaccinate every human, you still have to contend with bats and other mammals as animal reservoirs
3) It still doesn't matter because the vaccines don't always stop infection or transmission in a statistically relevant fraction of cases

They also say that "new variants" are happening because of unvaccinated people/countries that didn't take covid seriously, a talking point due mostly to the fact variants came out of India & Brazil.
However, a number of variants of concern have come out of none other than New York & California:

Not the number of spike protein mutations.
Kinda weird how its not Florida or Texas producing vaccine-resistant variants, huh?

Taking this into account, you almost have to assume that they knew the virus would adapt (nature finds a way), and the vaccines are simply a face-saving measure for the government and a money-making measure for pharmaceutical powerhouses.

The MSM basically made it their mission to shout that anyone that doesn't want the vaccine is just a anti-science conspiracy theorist Republican.

They WILL NOT accept any situation where you could have possibly looked into the facts and decide that the vaccine is not for you, even if you are a healthy 30-year-old that already has antibodies because you had Covid before. They've convinced their half of the world that anyone that opposes the vaccine is just too stupid to know any better.

Edit: I didn't even realize this, but apparently two months ago the FDA flat out said that just because you have the antibodies doesn't mean you are immune from COVID. Apparently I missed this little propaganda.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is reminding the public and health care providers that results from currently authorized SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests should not be used to evaluate a person’s level of immunity or protection from COVID-19 at any time, and especially after the person received a COVID-19 vaccination.

While a positive antibody test result can be used to help identify people who may have had a prior SARS-CoV-2 infection, more research is needed in people who have received a COVID-19 vaccination. Currently authorized SARS-CoV-2 antibody tests have not been evaluated to assess the level of protection provided by an immune response to COVID-19 vaccination. If antibody test results are interpreted incorrectly, there is a potential risk that people may take fewer precautions against SARS-CoV-2 exposure. Taking fewer steps to protect against SARS-CoV-2 can increase their risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and may result in the increased spread of SARS-CoV-2.

I didn't think about this, but it rings true to a degree. There's also probably an element of social climbing in there as well, with people wanting to put out the appearance of greater social status by clinging harder to the masks'n'vax thing more.

I'm working class. My wife and her family are so middle class that they shit horses and piss fifteen kinds of vinegar. She's all about masks and vaccines and all that shit, while I couldn't care less. I just want to get on with work. She's neurotic as shit. I must stress that I love her to bits and we have a wonderful relationship,. Unfortunately she can be rather stubborn about some issues.

My brother is a wannabe. He wants to be seen as middle class, even though his occupation is nothing of the sort. He won't shut up about how he wants to get every vaccine out there and all that guff, and he signals like a fucking semaphore about all the trendy, middle-class occupations. University ruined him.

On a somewhat related note, wife's most recent period is the heaviest she's ever had in her life. I'm trying to convince her not to get another shot, but she's her own woman and ultimately she gets to make her own choices. I'll let you all know the date of the funeral, or alternatively the day she connects to the internet with her brain and becomes the new omnimessiah.

Yeah because those are natural antibodies, not magic science vaccine antibodies*, duh!
I'm starting to suspect that you haven't even been praying to Science recently!

*and T-cells. For the love of God, don't forget the damn T-cells

The amount of copium regarding masks in the official Los Angeles subreddit is hilarious.
I've been smugmaxxxing hard recently.

The last 18 months has, regrettably, forced me to accept the reality that ~90-95% of the world is more or less subhuman and that I can't change what's coming but at least I can now start to schadenfreude to my hearts content watching the absolute premium cope. It will truly be a spectacle to behold as the showmasters whip aforementioned 95% into an absolute frenzy to get the non-compliant to join in the rain dance.

This isn't going to be some anomaly, locking down again is going to be the norm in a lot of (blue) places, and being vaccinated isn't going to mean shit. It's going to be a very interesting fall and winter.

God I hope the Vaccines kill everyone who was stupid enough to take them

Imagine the society we could rebuild after all these dumb fucks are gone
