and that makes the virus any less serious or 'just like the common cold' how exactly? you have to be shitposting. even aside from the death toll, the fact that the virus can permanently damage neural pathways in the way that hard drugs can, but doesn't require administration in the way that hard drugs are, should be setting off alarm bells in the heads of even the most staunch LARPer out there with regards to the development of the human brain; if an adult loses 20% of their neuron capacity as a result of an infection, they can still have a recovery so long as a pharmaceutical is developed that facilitates a recovery using the original neural pathways present in the brain that existed prior to the infection. but in the case of children? They don't already have those neural pathways formed. Their brain is still developing. What happens when a kid with no pre-existing neural pathways gets fucked by the 'rona and starts losing neurons (the source of constant headaches and migraines in people with the virus)? You end up with stunted development and an entire generation of children who can literally never function as adults because their brains will never develop beyond the level of a child thanks to the damage done by the 'rona.

In this case a vaccination wouldn't even matter, the damage would have already been done to an irreparable degree. In fact, the death toll surrounding the virus is the absolute last thing anyone should be looking into when you take this into consideration. Imagine instead of a zombie apocalypse, you have a permanent chimpout like what's been happening in north america for the past half a year, except it doesn't stop until that entire generation is dead because that generation is incapable of learning how to stop. This is the future we're heading towards.

EDIT: or, god forbid, the chimping out only stops when these permanently stunted children get the government mandated pod-housing and bug-burgers that they've been clamouring for since the mid 2010s. Zoomers are a fucking 'cursed generation' in every sense of the phrase. Lord have mercy upon them all.

My point is autistic doomspergs like you keep throwing out rare symptoms that only happen in severe cases like they are somehow shocking features that only COVID has, when in reality the common cold can fuck you up in the same damn way if the case is severe enough - yet life goes on.

The common cold cannot do any of these things at all, nor are they rare. The headaches directly linked to neural pathway damage are one of the most common symptoms out there. What in the actual fuck are you smoking in order to come up with this much of a retarded cope? are you a 110IQ midwit? is that what this is?

The only reason there are bigly numbers of deaths from this virus is because we haven't encountered it before. The mortality rate - the ratio of deaths to infections, the only valid measure of how deadly a virus is - is lower than any of the flu viruses endemic in the west.

The big numbers of deaths and cases are scary, but they're bullshit. Once this infection is endemic in the west, it will kill dozens each year at most. Dozens!

I'm saying it now: Everyone dying of it right now would have died within the next two years no matter what. This entire shitshow was a pointless performance for no gain, and all it's done is make the world suicidally depressed, and turned me into an alcoholic.

One thing I'm seeing a lot in mainstream circles is discussion of how divorces are way up because of the economic destruction of the lockdown, and people are hemorrhaging money on their property that they are now forced to sell.

I think Minecrafts will be way up as well in the coming months. Can you imagine your (usually) wife filing for divorce, destroying your collective net worth more than usual, and demanding spousal support you can now not pay because you were furloughed during a "pandemic" or otherwise lost income?

A lot of it is people actually spending time with their spouses and realising that they actually don't know one another. Of course, if they were smart, they'd take the time to get to know one another better, strengthen their relationship. Instead they take the easy way out, because working on a relationship is too hard. They want the financial benefits of a marriage, but none of the actual relationship stuff.

I've had a couple of arguments with the wife since this started, but we've been able to spend time on hobbies together that we just didn't have time to do before. I'm teaching her how to paint Warhammer minis.

So I guess I'll be bankrupt too, but at least it'll be fun.

According to the official narrative some time in September or October 2019 a Chinaman ate a bat from the Wuhan wet market and caught the coof. By late December it had spread quickly with patients showing up in hospitals suffering from an aggressive pneumonia. In early Jan it was determined that a novel Zoonopic virus had appeared. By late January the CCP hit the panic button and put first Wuhan and then the entire country of 1.3 billion people, into a lockdown. All but vital industries closed. All schools and universities closed. All travel banned. People not allowed to leave their house without a mask and even then only to go food shopping and the like. The CCP then reported the lockdowns as an amazing success with complete eradication of the virus in mainland China.

As we know the CCP, backed by the WHO, determined that closing down international travel from Wuhan was unnecessary and anyone who said otherwise was probably a racist. As a result outbreaks started to occur in Europe and the US, By Feb Italy, which has a huge Chinese diaspora, saw a massive outbreak. Media reports claimed an overwhelmed hospital system, a lack of ventilators, exploding death rates and an entire nation on the brink of collapse. At the same time we saw a concerted and well organized campaign on social media both extolling the virtues of the Chinese lockdown and exaggerating the mortality rate of Covid. The Italian government then ordered a lockdown. The rest is history.

The CCP narrative that their lockdown policy worked is just that a narrative. Contrary to what we hear the coof is running rampant in mainland China. The CCP, having determined that the mortality rate is on the order of 0.1-0.2% made the rational decision that avoiding economic collapse was more important than attempting to eradicate a moderately bad flu. The nations that have controlled the virus are either lying about the numbers (Japan) or are small island nations who maintain strict controls on inward travel (Taiwan, Singapore, New Zealand and to a lesser extent Australia). Even if we ignore the first and second order effects of lockdowns, economic depression, spiking mental health issues, family violence and so on, it's clear at this point that lockdowns do not work in their primary aim, of reducing spread to levels where track and trace efforts will allow for quarantining of the infected. Even if eradication was possible through lockdowns, as soon as restrictions are lifted and travel allowed into any given geographical area, the virus will spread and we're back to where we started.

So why are governments still continuing to order lockdowns? I guess some politicians are just retarded, but watching the entire western world shutting down their economies in response to a viral outbreak with a low mortality rate AND knowing that these policies do zero parts of fuck all, is utterly baffling to me. I don't understand what the fuck is going on here. Maybe there is some other agenda but I genuinely can't see how destroying entire national economies benefits anyone. So I guess we've all gone mad.

Know your place Prole. I honestly think we've underestimated just how badly and the lengths to which our so-called elites are willing to go to establish some kind of Neo-Feudal system. I honestly think Climate Change was their main trojan horse, but nature isn't cooperating like they'd like it to. But COVID? Might sound like a bit much, but Ohio's Governor got lots of campaign donations over the years from Les Wexner, who is a money guy connected to Epstein. The politicians go with it because they're mostly narcissists or sociopaths who only care about themselves. Also American politicians are shamefully cheap to buy.
 
Say what you will about Drain Todger, his effortposts that I read on the topic were always extensively sourced and researched, and I found most of them thought provoking at bare minimum.

He also proposed attainable solutions based on the understanding he gained in his quest to stuff as much COVID research into his proverbial cheeks as possible. Some of his later posts inform my supplement choices to this day.
