Also it's funny you should say that because around here it's the yoga thots who have been openly flouting the park and beach closures since day one and flipping the proverbial bird to anyone who tries to scold them on social media. I had a neutral stance on this behavior at first but I now endorse it wholeheartedly.

Channel 6 has had an interview with some hotel chain CEO cunt trying to justify the PP asking for unlimited ERTEs. Reminder: what they want is for spain to literally pay businesses to stay closed, for as far as they want, with no expectations of reopening or duties to repay. Ever. His justification? He said it was unfair that spain was "only" sinking 12% of it's GDP into saving businesses while Germany sunk 60%, and our government was anti-business if it didn't expand that percentage.

Hey. Wanna know why Spain will not sink 60% of it's GDP into this shit, ever? Because if we did we'd be forced to declare bankrupcy. Because unlike Germany we already have an absolutely fucking ridiculous debt and off the fucking rockers interest rate as it is. But more importantly 60% would literally make it so we have to pay in interest rate each month over 100% of what we can produce. Which is literally impossible to fix without bankrupcy. Do I even need to explain why the gov doesn't like that idea?!

So yeah. People are already memeing the bastard for literally asking spain to commit sepukku so he can get more free cash for no reason. Fucking clownworld. This shit's hilarious. At this point it seems most agree the gov should just pull the trigger and let the autonomies handle state of alarm from this point on, the show would be hilarious. And Madrid would have a fucking exodus. Which I'm all for. So we'll see. I do think they'll likely pact with the PNV instead. Because what the PNV asked for is actually reasonable (they just asked for the autonomies to have more power on how they handle the alarm state within the framework of the central gov. That's actually perfectly reasonable. It's basically a less drastic version of pulling the trigger that gives central gov the chance to keep Ayuso from going full retard while allowing autonomies to reopen even faster. It makes perfect sense. Which is ironically why I don't prefer it, as it is way less funny than just letting the inmates run the asylum. But hey. I'm a masochist. I doubt Sanchez is. We'll see.)

EDIT, NOTE: if you're wondering if the reason most agree with me on letting the autonomies run wild for entertainment. No, they don't. Most either just say it's more flexible or it would at least shut the right wing up and stop the media circus. I know it wouldn't I don't know why they believe it would. Point is, as much as spaniards seem to be quite used to clownworld, most don't seem to share my sheer level of excitement at things going apeshit. They just found other reasons to reach that conclussion. But also for the record, I'm still far from the only one who uses that reasoning, actually. Multiple people I know have gone full "fuck it, let's at least sing while rome burns." like I have. So... Take that as you will.

CNN, NYTimes, Politico, MSNBC are all parroting CCP talking points. Anyone who talks about the Bill of Rights is called a Racist and a Nazi. The amount of misinformation about treatments and cures is staggering, the amount of bias in reporting is beyond anything I've ever seen. Governors are asserting executive authority in ways I've never seen, it's like the legislature and judiciary don't matter. We were worried about hospitals, but it's school systems, supply chains, and the economy that's breaking down. 40% - 60% of fatalities have been in old folks homes, which was predictable and could have been avoided by just protecting the grey hairs.

If this isn't a deliberate attempt to overthrow the US Government, it sure looks like one. Everyone's morale is low, most of the people I know don't know a single person who's had the disease. There's rumors Doctors are just rubber stamping death certificates in New York and Washington. 3 of my neighbors have lost their jobs, the nearby food bank is reporting shortages, and there's been a rash of shootings in the area.

Someone give me the odds CEOs knew this was coming at the start of 2019.

Just the other day, I was listening to a veteran mechanic on YouTube that has a video about using an Ozone machine to remove interior odors when other methods fail. Several times throughout the video, he emphasized the fact that these machines should not be used in enclosed area or be used in a situation where people and pets might breathe in the Ozone because of what it does to living tissue. The fact someone thought it was a good idea to use Ozone when and where it shouldn't is simply wow .

This is why I think states need to make more of push to ramp up testing. Asymptomatic people currently sick without knowing it is probably the biggest legitimate concern. Let's try to find out how many fit that category so they can be treated ASAP and get businesses opened up sooner once we know who is sick and who isn't.

Any reputable defense attorney is going to want to know the medical reason, and I think they might be allowed to use discovery to find out if there's a documented medical reason. Further, the law provides for reasonable accommodations. If someone can't enter a store for medical reasons, the store can still suggest options such as having someone else do the shopping or ordering over the phone/online and then using curbside pickup, etc.

It's one thing for those that have a legit reason to balk at wearing a mask. Munchies and others who use illness/disability as a smokescreen, however, are bad people for hiding behind nonexistent health conditions. The only condition people that use such cards solely to cause a confrontation seem to suffer from is a case of terminally bullying others into submission.

I think the biggest reason is that early on, people were told to not get masks in order to have enough of them for healthcare professionals that needed them. Now, many areas are telling people masks are encouraged, recommended, or even required in various situations even though they are still difficult or next to impossible to come by. Some places are mindful of this and will allow anything that covers the mouth such as scarfs or hand-made masks.

Another reason is that some people think it's too late and futile to wear masks now. Finally, there's always going to be a certain number of that won't wear masks simply to rebel against authority figures.

It was painful to watch, he owned her so hard. Sharp as a tack. It's pretty eye opening when you see it back to back with a clip of him from the past week.

Even him vs Paul Ryan was good, and say what you will about Ryan, he's no dummy. Both debates it is night and day compared to Current Year Joe. Erases any doubt accusations of his decline are hyperbolic.

There is no doubt in my mind that at this point, many governors are playing a game of chicken with Trump. They want him to combat what the states are doing just so they can call him "the dictator we always warned everyone about!"

On one hand, if Trump acts, then I can see it possibly working in his favor, as a large amount of Americans are sick of these lockdowns and are calling their own governors dictators for it. On the other hand, we all know how the media is going to handle this, and what the normies and the Karens are going to tell everyone.

Politicians and the mainstream media are seriously playing chess in a big election year ... And American lives are the pawns. Absolutely disgusting.

And don't even get me fucking started on the shit that Big Pharma is trying to pull with Remdesivir. They're disgusting people, too. Fuck Dr. Fauci.

Treatments for the virus getting politicized is the most disgusting thing out of this whole shitshow IMO. If every life lost due to COVID-19 is one life too many, and that's the logic used to justify extending lockdowns, why in the ever loving fuck are they playing political games over fucking treatments? And of course, Big Pharma is absolutely incapable of not being scum. No surprises there.

At this point Trump's going to be vilified no mater what he does. If New York keeps this up it's going to drag the rest of the nation down due to NYC's status as America's financial hub. Trump needs to flat-out slap Cuomo down hard and remind that smug cunt what the South learned in the Civil War re: Federal power versus State power. It opens up a nasty can of worms, but the choice that is being presented is barbaric. I would celebrate anyone that gave Cuomo the Hoffa Special at this point, as the legal options at this point all leave Dems dangerous tools the next time they are in office.

And regarding Remdesivir? Pharma was always going to do its best to implement FUD with hydroxychloroquine since it's cheap, proven to be effective, and unable to be patented. Why would they ever promote that over The Hot New Thing that they could use to get as much money as they wanted? The dumb hag that killed her husband with the fish tank cleaner was playing right into their hands, and any cure at this point is bound to be hyperpoliticized since CY+5 demands that everything is political.

The most depressing thing about all of this is that we're not anywhere near the bottom of this hole since the Dems crave this madness while most people want life to get back to normal. Even the spineless cowards on the ground level begging for longer lockdowns want it since they think at the end of it that they can get back to life as it was before everything got so locked down. They want to be able to head to concerts, visit family, see movies, eat out with friends, head to the bar, and leave their homes without the ever-looming fear of the virus. People wanting it to open up now want it so they won't be driven into bankruptcy from something they couldn't control, and they want to be able to take the risk of regular life since a lot of them are seeing that the virus was overblown from the first reports that came out of China and china-friendly zones. There was even a chunk of that overblown fear from this thread - I know I was guilty of seeing it as something more dangerous than it really was and I know I'm not the only one.

I don't want there to be a 'new normal' where lockdowns and house arrests like this are just a thing we have to live with once a decade. I don't want a 'new normal' where our economy is used as a political tool to punish people for not voting the right way. I don't want a 'new normal' where bad actors on the global stage continue to get shielded from global criticism due to cries of racism fueled by bribery behind the scenes. I just want to be able to go to work, put in my hours, get paid for honest work, have a few drinks at the local bar after work, and enjoy my hobbies and head to church to unwind.

Is that so much to ask for?

I ran into my neighbor today walking his dog and he wasn't wearing a mask. We began chatting and of course the lockdown came up and I said "Whatever your feelings about Trump, Cuomo's just doing dumb shit to stick it to Trump..." when he cut me off and said "Look, I'm not a fan of Trump but I totally agree, this can't go on, Cuomo's insane if he thinks he can keep the city in lock down for months". I think he's representative of most people in NYC. A lot of folks are on the edge and getting aggro, I nearly had it out with some dumb hipster who sent a skateboard my way and I stopped it and flipped it over. We had words right as someone I know came over and the little punk slunk away. No way this place stays locked down for months. People will explode, most that can will leave and NYC will return to seventies era levels of decay and crime which will be on Cuomo, not Trump. Like I said, I'm out as soon as I can secure a job, car and movers

Also he said he's not taking any vaccine. No one I know personally is.

I don't know how to science- but vitamin D + fever is still effective right? I still can't tell (to this day) if this virus is deadly as people say or can be managed with the right tools.
