Unless you live in Little India, aka California, I wouldn't be worrying about it. If you're really nervous, buy some bottled water, a manual can opener, and a weeks worth of canned goods in case you ever get snowed in or whatever.

Worse than that, the one week hospital collapsing would also take a lot of the medical professionals needed to help stop this thing with it.
