At the cost of a totally new virus which is a toss-up to fizzle out to be nothing or escalate wildily? I know sacrifices will have to be made, but that isn't a risk at this point, that is plain stupidity. There are better ways to handle that.

The Chinaman is at the forefront of genomic and geneering. He also has very little moral concerns about experimentation on humans. The fact that the Party is focusing on more full spectrum stuff, like using this as an excuse to crack down on the eating of bushment (and hopefully pigs and other dirty animals) and other traditional foods that Chinamen engage in and can't be rationally persuaded against does suggest otherwise. But who knows?

I wouldn't be surprised if they developed bio weapon against the blacks this would be perfect one , blacks have to get stronger and different medicines for respiratory diseases than Caucasians . I wouldn't think china will bother with the Caucasians, they are literally in decline, hate each other , half of the men have yellow fever and millennials are pro communist . On the other hand subsaharan africa is predicted to go from 1 billion people to 4 billion in 100 years and its the only place that generates population growth aside from few asian countries in the world.

Also africans are literally too retarded for the 21 century way of life just speaking English and basic computer skills requires iq of 90 to be able to properly operate any tehnology in the current year . We all have seen the averages in most african countries are literally lower than some chimps iqs ( no joke there was some gorila that got tested got something around iq of 80) . They are literally the definition of useless eaters . But that is not what is going to cause chinese want to get rid of them . The issue is their entitelment and gib me dat what is causing problems for the chinese. There were several cases where chinese had to be deported back to china for mocking the africans and video come up of it .

Endless exposes of muh racism combine that with corrupt leaders and mandatory quotas of employing useless monkeys and also gangs damaging the infrastructure like pipes/road/roberies/pirating to make a quick buck. They are literal pest that prevent the chinese to reach the raw materials they need combine with the fact they sit on arable land that the chinks need to feed themselves and make them less dependent on europeans and americans for food .

Also this virus will get rid of the boomers who are anti communist in the west , gets rid of elderly who burden chinese economy and get rid of the apes who are literally the elephant in the room in world politics and constant source of disease , refugees and pirates .

One stone three birds they couldnt do better .

We were honestly already fucked. This epidemic started kicking into high-gear weeks ago, and there wasn't a real sense of how urgent it might be until China started quarantining the shit out of the place

Because China would do something to jepardize their already rocky relationship or something, I dunno.

I still don't get why China even allows flights to still keep happening when they're the ones who made the fucking virus to begin with. The answer should be simple- Shut down all flights from the country, deal with the epedemic and then open them back up until the next one. Because we know they sure as shit won't impliment a population control option or get better standards for their animals because it's China.

Geopolitics, especially with a country as image-obsessed as the PRC is, is a delicate game. Every decision is a trade-off between bypassing their tendency to lie about everything by keeping Americans local to the problem and the health concerns of those people. Even prioritizing their health and getting them out risks offending the Chinese, who are obsessed with saving face, and who will lock out American intelligence from Chinese activity going forward. American ignorance of what's going on as the situation develops puts us at the mercy of the WHO (who have kowtowed to Chinese propaganda repeatedly) or guarantees fewer opportunities to intervene going forward.
None of it is the right decision on an individual level, but nothing makes right decisions more nonexistent than global geopolitics, so...
 
Metokur raised the problem (or more likely, someone here raised it before) of the AIDS community getting obliterated by the virus. Add to it the sanitary conditions in big west coast cities... It would annihilate their gay community.
 
Y'know, with how the rate infections and deaths are escalating, I sure hope it's just the combo of air pollution, population density, and China lying to save face thats just making the already-weak people drop like flies. Sure, SARS and others exists, but wow, feels weird to wait to see if this is nothing or actually something worth to keep an eye on now that Cali and New York has it. The incubation period it has doesn't help at all.

well, it was the SF gay community, and not Africa, who sparked the interest in development of HIV antiviral drugs (which are being used to treat the virus ironically), so maybe they'll come in "handy" again this time around, heh heh. that was a gay joke by the way.

And that's the scary thing. China made everyone react too late do anything on the first days before it could escalate to this point, all because it wanted to save face. If this doesn't shatter China's image, then I don't know what will.

With conformation of the long, infectious incubation period I'm going to assume this means that if a state has a confirmed case the entire state is infected and probably a good chunk of the states around them as well.
