LOL, I think at this point people who didn't get the coof feel left out :)

As you talk about Pfizermectin and all this pharma scam including harmful Remdesvir, I wonder what kind of scum you have to be to sign off some crappy drug that can potentially harm people. I guess I don't understand greed. But what's the point to have a mansion? It's just more hassle, you have to hire a cleaning staff and servants, and don't tell me it is not a nuisance.
I guess they want to have some slaves for their needs. :story: That remind me of this thread on City-data forum who might be worth to get its own thread.

Quad vaxxxxed Israel be like

"There were more COVID-19 cases identified in Israel during January this year than the entirety of 2021, according to a report released Thursday.

The Coronavirus National Information and Knowledge Center said some 960,500 coronavirus cases were identified during 2021, while in January alone, as of Wednesday, more than 1,160,000 have tested positive."

"I've decided that people can't make important decisions, so I want fewer people to make all the important decisions for more people."

It's like saying "The more I see the occasional egg fall out of a basket, the more I want to put all my eggs in one basket." Except the pile of broken eggs will be human skulls. Again.

California is definitely not a unified mass.
It's the same here in Illinois. State mask mandate but no one outside of Chicago cares anymore. Cook County (Chicago plus some suburbs) enacted vax passports and couple of municipalities pre-emptively said they wouldn't enforce it. The provinciality of big-city shitlibs is mindboggling. They think they are accomplishing something with their covid kabuki, whereas most of the country has moved the fuck on, which they would realize if they just travelled 50 miles in any direction out of their city.

I swear, people who call covid a 'plague' needs to be launched into the fucking sun. It doesn't even have half the lethality the bubonic plague had for fuck's sake. It's akin to the fucking flu, COME ON!

And I want NYC to be pushed somewhere else. Preferably to CA.

Tokyo is under pressure to declare a state of emergency because OMG 48.5% of hospital beds are filled!!1!

What this article fails to mention (because it is meant to be cited as evidence by bugmen) is that around 90% of clinics and even some large hospitals in Tokyo refuse covid cases. There is only a handful of places to go, which in turn only have a handful of beds.

You can figure this out with some simple math. There are currently 15,895 covid cases, OMG plague, right?!? Not exactly. From the article—

The number of COVID-19 patients with severe symptoms under the metropolitan government’s criteria climbed by one from Saturday to 23. One death was reported among those infected.

23 people with severe symptoms and one death. These are presumably the people filling those hospital beds to 48.5% capacity, along with the hypochondriacs and other frequent-fliers. Which means that (best guess) there are perhaps 100-200 “covid hospital beds” in Tokyo, a city of 14 million people. The horror.

The news is trying to sell the third shot by showing footage of deserted vaccination centers. The next segment showed crowds of people getting on trains or on the streets, going about their business.

EDIT: Also not mentioned in the article is exactly who is putting the Prime Minister under pressure. Tokyo Mayor Koike was just on TV and is dodging the question of the criteria for a "full state of emergency."

The mini-Shitcagos downstate still care. Peoria, Blo/Bo and Springfield. No passports but a LOT of Branch Covidians.

Fair. Haven't done much in-state travel lately but I'm not surprised. This reinforces how much the main division of this country is between little blue islands surrounded by a seas of red. Even Wyoming(!) has a college town where they mandated masks for schools.

Its really hit or miss, to be honest. You can walk into one store, get screamed at by a Karen manager/employer, walk into the store next door, and get a friendly mask-free smile. But I've encountered that even in my town, between shifts at the same store. But it seems to happen more often when I have to go to Peoria or Bloomington area. I haven't actually been through Springfield for a couple of months, so I may even be wrong on that one. If so, mea culpa.

@borsabil @Lichen Bark

The DOD data from DMED (the military's version of VAERS, essentially) is coming out. It's not looking good.

This is what Thomas Renz was talking about.

Healthy individuals don’t need booster jabs? It’s a video from last year, says Health Ministry of viral clip
PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has dismissed a viral video of its minister Khairy Jamaluddin saying that healthy individuals do not require Covid-19 vaccine boosters.

The ministry said that it was an old video, taken prior to the national booster rollout and recent developments related to Covid-19 variants.

“The video of the Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin was from a press conference at KLIA in September 2021 and during the time, the Covid-19 booster programme had not yet begun.

"At that time, the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) for the first and second dose was still in full swing," it said, adding that only 79.6% of the adult population had completed their vaccination at the time, which did not yet meet the target of 90% adult inoculation.

The Health Ministry said in a statement that the administering of booster shots was implemented in stages by giving priority to vulnerable groups consisting of the elderly, as well as those with co-morbidity and at risk of infection.

"After the majority of these groups had received their booster shots, the booster vaccination was opened to other eligible members of the population.

"The administration of the booster shots is required based on current developments in the monitoring of vaccine efficacy as well as the challenges faced with the emergence of new variants of the Covid-19 virus," it said, noting that other countries such as the UK, US, Thailand Indonesia and Singapore are also offering booster shots to their adult population.

If you thought healthy folks don't need the boosters, then what made you change your mind?
The fuck does the booster or the immunization programme has to do with the issue?

After hearing news of his friend and a neighbour dying (the former from vaccine complications, the latter from booster complications), my old man straight up told me to "not bother getting the booster jabs".

When an old, don't-rock-the-boat kind of man starts calling bullshit, you pay attention.

I know there’s no point in trying to understand anymore
But I am really confused by the wildly conflicted messaging about omicron

Omicron is mild. Cold symptoms!
Omicron isn’t the common cold and here’s why
Should I get omicron over with ?
Did omicron give me super immunity ?
Omicron is anything but mild

These are all separate headlines I can remember seeing recently
What the hell ? Honestly

Oh fuck this resonates.

I did a road trip recently and everywhere I visited in the South was reasonable, except for Atlanta (expected), and Tallahassee and Pensacola (wtf?). It was mixed in the two panhandle cities but I was still shocked at the glee some youngsters enforced mask mandates.

It was really disturbing to me because I figure the big city folk I'm used to are confined to the bugpods and don't know any better...but how the hell can you live so close to areas that reject mandates and not do the math that the mandates are BS?

Based on my travels, anywhere more than 20 minutes outside the LA County lines is done requiring masks...

Edit: I haven't been to SF or San Diego lately though.

I was briefly driving through Lassen County during some of the worst parts of the covidmania and had to fill the tank.

Got out at gas station and decided to go take a bathroom break. Started toward gas station convenience store entrance and realized, oh shit, forgot my mask. Well whatever, these people probably don't care. I swing the door open and the person in line at the convenience store counter is a cop.

I was just thinking I'd have to go back to the car for a mask for sure now, when the cop turned around and...he wasn't wearing one, either. Neither was the clerk. We gave each other a smile and nod and went about our respective days. California is definitely not a unified mass.
I've been to the deepest blue areas in California before and you'll find at certain places like tire shops and parts stores, they often forgo the mask rule and don't give a shit. A lot of people are done with it. People who are still uppity about it don't have the cojones to say anything to you for not wearing a mask, because well it's California.

Curious, why did he test himself when he's showing no symptoms? Nevermind, don't answer that. I've lost so much faith in the human race over the past two years.

I was teaching a student who said she tested every week for the last yearish. Curiosity got the best pf me and I asked her why if she was feeling well.

“I don’t want to get covid”

She had had covid a month ago
