I agree with this person, but not for the same reasons. Instead, some people should be not given freedom because they will reject it and beg for slavery. The people that are going along with covid authoritarianism should get what they deserve: their rights taken away, forever. Put them in literal wage cages, force a mask on them that can never be taken off, and strip them of all power. These people should not be allowed to vote, raise children, or walk the streets without being beaten. The best part is that they believe the same thing about those that disagree with them. If they have their way, the filthy unvaxxed will be sent to the camps. Literally, they would call for genocide once it is no longer taboo to say you want to actively kill the unvaxxed.

It's more of an argument against universal suffrage (and the 17th amendment) than stripping rights away from some people.

They were never anti-establishment. They were just assmad that they weren't the establishment.

Right now my feed is full of chatter of people complaining with one hand about books being banned (now Maus in Tennessee) yet cheering on campaigns to pressure Spotify to censor Joe Rogan. The level of disgust I feel towards these people now I can't even express. I guess I would put people of this stripe a step below child molesters, but that's about it.

Maus wasn't banned. All one single school did was take it off their required reading list. It's even still available in the libraries.

That story is literal fake news designed to gin up hatred against white people and conservatives.

what a twit. Do he even know that hospital have shortage not because of the ''selfish baby'' but mainly because of said drastic measure that the ''selfish baby'' are fighting against
And btw weren't hospital already short staffed
 
Joni Mitchell believes she has Morgellons, a delusional disorder where you think you have wires and fibers growing out of your skin. I'm not gonna put much stock into her opinion on medical misinformation.
 
Hope the kids turn out fine, not from covid, but from having that as a family member.
 
Someone today told me how they were concerned because apparently Covid is especially dangerous for pregnant women. Is this being talked about somewhere?

I've heard from here that still births have gone up recently in a few places (Scotland and Canada, IIRC). Of course whether this is because of the vaccination or because of the virus itself isn't being explicitly discussed, yet. And I mean, obviously if you're a Trump supporter you'll blame it on the vaccine, whereas if you trust science you'll blame it on not being vaccinated. I dunno.

The way I see it, compare it to the rise of heart problems.

We had covid for 1 whole year and all other causes of death went down, then the injection rollout started and suddenly people in age groups that don't normally get these kinds of problems see noticeable spikes in the numbers nothing major just a noticeable trend. You then get the media astroturfing with articles on how covid can suddenly cause blood clots and heart problems after a whole year and a half.

We had a whole year and half of the people who got covid, their complaints on it range from "I didn't know I had it until tested", "it was a bad flu" to "I can't breath". No one was talking about how their heart was having problems during or after covid, it reeks of a massive cope.

Yeah, it keeps popping up occasionally. Since the shots were approved for pregnant women there's been articles about unvaccinated mothers in critical condition. Never seen it linked to stillbirths, I think it was reported in my city that a mother died during/right after delivery due to covid complications but the baby survived.

Thing is, we don't know because the places that did mention that the rise of still births and newborns dying of extremely rare issues after vaccine rollout got shut down and memoryholed within a day.

Vaccine trials didn't allow pregnant women to participate but all of a sudden a few months after rollout began Pfizer and moderna were touting how "super safe" the vaccines were to pregnant women. Some women got it, and went on to either have healthy babies or lost a viable pregnancy/newborn died. There's been a few cases where newly vaccinated mothers go to breastfeed their babies and babies get extremely sick (some of which have died, others lived but it required a switch to formula). There's too many unknown variables right now
