Omicron has a direct lineage from the original Wuhan strain. It is unrelated to any of the subsequent variants. Wuhan Covid has been extinct for coming on two years. How did a vaccine evading variant, which has a spike protein preference for mouse ACE receptors, evolve in humans from a form of Covid that hasn't circulated in humans for 2 years? Well obviously it didn't.

Covid has a hard time infecting mice and it hasn't been proven that the virus is endemic in the species. Nonetheless all the evidence suggests Omicron came from mice.
Mice are far from ideal in terms of transmission of a zoonotic virus. We don't farm mice. We don't eat mice. We may come into contact with their droppings but faecal transmission has all but been disproven with Covid. Historically the best candidates for animal to human transmission are domesticated animals, particularly farm animals, pigs and chickens. The reasons are straightforward, people who tend to them spend a great deal of time with them. They clean up their shit, they eat their flesh, they come into constant contact with their body fluids. Zoonotic transmission that can cause a pandemic viral outbreak in humans requires constant infection and re-infection to challenge any virus to hit a genetic sweet spot that enables it to jump from human to human and not just animal to human. For example MERS has been around for a long time but has never managed to make that leap.
Ignoring the obvious that humanised mice are widely used in virus and vaccine research, the fact that a ready made and uber infectious virus emerged fully formed to cause, at least by numbers, the biggest and fastest viral pandemic in the history of the species (almost the entire planet will have been infected in less than 6 months) is unprecedented. Omicron Covid is likely the most infectious but least virulent respiratory virus known to science. If a viral 'vaccine' was going to be fabricated in a lab it would look exactly like Omicron.

We seriously need to consider halting all viral research or else at least contain it to a few super secure locations well away from third world shitholes with lab workers who won't wash their hands or steal test animals for dinner.
The main suspect for the leak is South Africa's CSIR level 3 facility which has received significant funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to conduct whole virus research for SARS Cov-2 in particular attenuated live vaccines. Surely just a coincidence that Omicron would emerge on their doorstep just like the Wuhan Institute of Virology conducting gain of function research on bat Beracoronaviruses.
