Granted I haven't actually tried to get an ivermectin script I'm just going off of other people's experiences. Plus animals are treated far better than people in the United States of America.
Speaking from experience, even when doctors want to prescribe ivermectin, the powers above them forbid it. The board of directors at my local hospital have been keeping ivermectin under a lock and key while declaring it's dangerous, yet they don't hesitate to reach into the stash when they have so much as the seasonal sniffles. A few scumbag doctors have ivermectin for sale, but they're charging $200-$300USD and make you promise not to speak of it. Ivermectin usually costs $40-$70 in my area, and some pharmacies (used to) provide it for free.
Ivermectin was originally for livestock and pets, but studies found that it was able to combat scabies, Myiasis, Pediculosis, parasitic skin diseases, and many more problems found in humans. It's safe for human use, and it's hard to screw up the doses.
Ivermectin has continually proved to be astonishingly safe for human use. Indeed, it is such a safe drug, with minimal side effects, that it can be administered by non-medical staff and even illiterate individuals in remote rural communities, provided that they have had some very basic, appropriate training.

But after covid? EVIL DRUG! IT WILL HURT YOU, AND EVERYTHING THAT WAS PUBLISHED BEFORE IS A LIEEEE! I've noticed that monoracial societies haven't been pulling this nonsense. Probably because their politicians aren't fighting for the approval of the flavor of the month minority. Every week it's blacks most affected, women most affected, fatties most affected...
Anyway, if someone is getting ivermectin from Tractor Supply it's probably because that's their only option. And for those of you who still think this isn't about money, power, and control, consider this: if we woke up tomorrow and penicillin (a drug that I can currently get for free from Publix pharmacy) was wiping out covid, there would immediately be articles declaring how bad it was. It wouldn't be free. It wouldn't be cheap. You wouldn't be able to get a prescription for it. You would be screwed out of a safe and affordable drug because the 1% wouldn't be getting richer. Then the screeching would go from "Horse paste?! Are you crazy?" to "Fish tablets?! Are you crazy?"
They're not crazy, they just don't want to be sick and were denied something that used to be readily available and affordable. And considering how some places are still under strict lockdown and/or have crazy employers, I'd imagine that some people literally can't afford to be sick. So, if putting horsey paste in your coffee helps you get back to 100%, then good.
