It can't actually, because with natural immunity your body has a broad-spectrum analysis of the virus to work with. It "remembers" the shape of every part it came in contact with and different parts of the immune system "remember" different things about the cell. Even if a naturally immune person is making the wrong spike antigen, it will make the correct choices with T-Cells attacking viral particles and producing antigens for other proteins on the capsid.
Original Antigenic Sin can only cause the effects scientists worry about if you immunize against just one protein on a virus... Sort of like we're doing now.
It can happen with other diseases - most notably dengue fever, where the first infection is generally very mild but subsequent infection with a different strain can be deadly.
You're right though, natural immunity offers broad spectrum protection and makes it far less likely for this to occur with covid.

I forgot about Dengue, but you're right. In a way that also illustrates why this technology is so bad. The Dengue vax tests were a bloodbath because the limited viral information they gave the body caused subsequent infections to destroy people's bodies. It turned an extremely rare medical condition that is nearly always deadly into a common effect of the vaccine (sound familiar?).
A dengue vaccine put thousands of kids at risk for a deadly condition. Some scientists say the manufacturer and health officials did too little to warn parents in the Philippines.
The booster is just another shot of the vaccine, be it Pfizer, AstraZeneca or what have you. So it would essentially be like getting single jabbed.
The vaccine targets the spike protein, which is normally highly conserved in coronaviruses (it doesn't tend to mutate loads as it's how the virus gets into cells). Omicron is weird because it's had a lot of mutations, possibly because it stayed in an immunocompromised person for a very very long time who was kept alive in hospital or (schizotheory) because it was made in a lab. In theory there could come a point where the antibodies the vaccine induces no longer work on the latest strain so it would be useless (or worse than useless in the case of "original antigenic sin" where the body focuses its efforts on making useless antibodies instead of fighting the disease properly - this can also happen with natural immunity).
The immunity waning thing is really about your serum antibody levels dropping off. This also happens with natural immunity. Antibodies are only one part of your immune system and are "remembered" by things called memory cells, but when your antibody levels drop off it can take a while for your body to start making them again (which can increase the chance of the disease getting a foothold, but with covid means you get a much milder illness). This happens with other diseases like pertussis (whooping cough), polio and tetanus, which is why people sometimes get boosters for those.
The spike component is the most mutable part of any virus. The nucleocapsid, the 'body' of the virus, is the least mutable.
Besides the vaccines do not and have never been designed to inoculate against ANY part of Covid-19. What we have been told is that the vaccines were designed to target a portion of the S-protein from data supplied to the drug makers by the CCP. But it doesn't stop there, they then went on to modify the folding site of the S-protein to make it 'spikier' as otherwise they weren't achieving immunogenicity at non toxic dosing. So we're dealing with vaccines that were designed with input data from the Chinese with further modification to the spike and against a viral strain that's now extinct. And we wonder why the things don't work?
But yeah I encourage all Covidians to get their boosters. Vaxx max forever.
A mix of federal, state, and local legal action today.
USA CoVax Mandate Legal News Roundup -- No Inspiration For A Title Today Edition
Federal Mandates & Supreme Court
Finally got some court dates on the federal contractor vaccine mandate. The 11th Circuit is expediting the government's appeal against the injunction currently blocking it, and has scheduled a final briefing deadline of Jan. 27, with oral arguments to follow that. (Archive) Still no word on the Supreme Court short-circuiting this and adding it to their TODO list with the OSHA and CMS mandates.
Notably, the Court is expediting the federal government’s appeal of the preliminary injunction and set the case for the next available oral argument. As a result, the U.S. must file its initial brief no later than January 3, 2022. The opposing parties must file their answering briefs no later than January 17, 2022, and any reply briefs must be filed no later than January 24, 2022. This will make for a very eventful January, as oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court on the challenge to OSHA ETS has been set for January 7, 2022.
It's not courtroom news, but CNN put out an article today that I thought was interesting as an example of how the tone of the narrative on the federal mandates are shifting in the wake of Biden's "there's not a federal solution to Covid" statement. (Archive) Unlike most of their previous articles that have dismissed the idea that the Biden admin may not have the authority to issue vaccine mandates like this, this one actually acknowledges the losses the admin is racking up in the courts and their increasingly-precarious status. It tries to cover this by blaming all those dirty activist conservative judges, but that fluff doesn't change the actual meat of the article.
New York City’s vaccine mandate for private-sector workers went into effect on Monday despite some ire from the business community and at least one potential class-action lawsuit to block one of the last Bill de Blasio-era policies.
The mandate applies to in-person and public-facing workers — not remote staffers or people who don’t come into contact with other employees or customers, according to the city. Private workers can get exemptions for religious or medical reasons and businesses can be subject to a $1,000 fine for refusing to comply. However, de Blasio has said that city inspectors who check will “ideally” avoid penalizing businesses except for those who simply refuse to cooperate.
“Most [larger] businesses had set up their protocol and plans based on President JoeBiden‘s private sector mandate,” said Wylde. “For small businesses that were not covered in the president’s mandate, that were not prepared, they don’t necessarily have the resources … in terms of people. They’re having trouble hiring enough people.”
Local businesses were certainly concerned when the mandate was announced in early December, as many small companies lack the legal or human resource departments to help manage a staff member’s medical or religious exemptions, said Thomas Grech, president and CEO of the Queens Chamber of Commerce.
“There’s concerns around a small business — who does not have a lawyer on staff, any kind of legal representation [or] any kind of HR department — being requested and required to review employees who have a request … for a religious exemption or a medical exemption,” Grech told CO. “These small businesses don’t have the wherewithal or the means to be able to do that.”
Fonte and Gelormino Legal Group (FG Law) have been at the forefront in the fight against the multitude of unconstitutional mandates, decrees and edicts put forward by President Biden, Governor Hochul , Mayor DeBlasio and New York City. As proud members of the Staten Island and NYC community we were honored to offer our services Pro Bono to the many restaurant and gym owners that requested our help and were instrumental in assisting them to reopen and get back to business. We have recently filed an action in the Supreme Court of the United States on behalf of the NYC teachers and employees of the DOE and hope to be heard on that case in the next few months.
Interesting side note from their site -- they're apparently hearing from a lot of New Yorkers who tried faking vaccine cards and got busted.
Lastly, just a word of caution. Sadly, we have gotten dozens of calls from municipal workers who have filed fake vaccination cards and are now at risk of being prosecuted for a felony and losing their job. Last month the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office arrested 15 people in connection with fake vaccination cards and charged them all with felonies. Even, if the fake card is entered into a “system” there is an algorithm that is being used to uncover fraudulent entries. We urge everyone not to go down that path.
16 members of the OK national guard tried to fight their mandate. (Archive) It wasn't very successful. This one's important because it's the first challenge against the military mandates to make it this far. Too early to say whether this is a one-off or if it's indicative of how the other lawsuits (like the pending Navy Seals one) will go, but it's not a good start.
U.S. District Judge Stephen Friot denied Oklahoma’s request for a preliminary injunction, saying the claims by Gov. Kevin Stitt, Attorney General John O’Connor and 16 anonymous Oklahoma National Guard members were without merit.
Picked out these two new lawsuits because they're unusual in that they challenge the Pfizer vaccine more directly. Students at Ohio University sue against their school's CoVax mandate, and they specifically attack the FDA authorization. (Archive) I haven't found their filing docs to see details, but I suspect they're making the distinction that some Kiwis have that the emergency authorization technically only covers the pre-release Pfizer vaccine, and not the commercially-ready Comirnaty model. This might be the first suit I've seen that picks up on this technical but valid distinction.
Even though this is bogus, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some truth to this given that this is the same company that shut down its US locations for a day so everyone involved could undergo diversity training. Stuff like this is why nobody wants to work for these companies.
It's also indicative of the duality of corporate America. Big corps seem to view their customers as little more than dollar signs and they think that forced small talk will somehow make it more acceptable. As someone else stated in different words, I'd rather be the one to decide whether or not to make small talk with the person on the other side of the counter; forcing it ends up being awkward and creates the opposite of a positive customer experience.
So I was just musing about the test requirement to get back into the USA from Mexico.
They use the swab test, and I have some Chlorhexidine mouthwash left over from a dental procedure. I really need a negative test. Hmm. Wonder if I were to swab some of this up in my sniffer pre-test (or hell, even neti pot that shit), would it have any effect?
Given how new the boosters are, my educated guess is that we won't know what the overall effects will be until late spring or early summer. This is enough to make me skittish of the boosters and dislike the continued goalpost moving. After all, it wasn't that long ago we were told that getting two shots three weeks apart form each other was sufficient enough for us to be good to go.
The confusion you are experiencing regarding the rug pulling is down to the fact that from country to country and state/kommun/county/district the science, response and available data is all different and even within the scientific groups and governments there are wildly differing opinions. It is an absolute mess of info and throw in millions of people commenting on it all, on social media, you have clownworld.
The absolute mess part of this is spot on. Don't get me wrong, I think local or regional units would know better what's going on and what needs to be done than state executives. However, the hodgepodge of guidelines that varies by county has created an absolute clusterfuck for normies.
As part of my paying hobby, I was recently a witness to a group came from the next county over where the mask requirements are different than my county and they got caught off guard with my county's regulations. On a different day at a different site, I was told a mask was absolutely required inside the building only to see half of those gathered not wearing masks and the building staff stating they weren't enforcing the requirement they themselves were insisting on as building policy. It's no wonder normies don't know what's what any more. Clown world indeed. (E: Spelling)
Going to the mall is always a miserable experience now. I gotta see everyone wearing face diapers, even toddlers and I just cant ignore them. I psychologically cant. And I cant hide my sentiments either like my mother can (we were there to exchange shitty christmas gifts from siblings that hate me and my parents because we are sucesseful and they are not).
It puts me in a very awful mood, borderline Doomer-ish, for the rest of the day. I legit cant stand this anymore, especially since 2022 will only be worse.
Reminder in celebration of 3500 pages of discussing the largest confirmed hoax in human history, stay strong brothers and if you've faltered don't get (((boosted))).
Part of me feels saddened for the people with actual emergencies getting shunted due to managerial (and government) short-sightedness. The other part of me is cynically smug and hopes that the state (and the nearby states) will see the folly of their ways.
Anyone in New York City faking their vaccination card is signing their death warrant in my book.
Here's what will probably happen: they will demand that every private business add their cards on file to the database on pain of fines. Nearly all will comply. Then some gov worker will search it for fraudulent entries.

"Oh gee, I thought my vaccination was totally legit. The guy I got it from said he was legit. Sorry, no, I don't remember where I got it. It was one of them get your covid vaxxes here pop ups that were everywhere during all of 2021. Anyway wish I could help you find them, those fraudsters are scum."
What about a more advanced method? Friendly doc or nurse who gives you legit serial number, but squirts the content of the syringe to the proverbial sink? How would you find out?

Supplied by EcoHealth Alliance. The head of that company left Wuhan with "declared biological cargo" months before the disease was publicly disclosed, and miraculously they had the entire genome sequenced and mRNA "ready in a week months later." Natural origin my ass.

They'll probably force you to get jabbed again, since they're gonna make you get jabbed infinity times anyway. Vaxmaxxing is the official government policy.
Very important update about my health, LOL.
I still don't cough or have any sniffles. I didn't lose my taste or smell. My cat made such a stinky poop today that I wish I did
However, I felt some tightness in my chess. Fortunately on top of protocol 0.4 mg/kg of IVM I also have Flovent at home which I use to replace prednisone. Both are corticosteroids, so I suspect it can help. I don't know what worked because I took both roughly at the same time, but the tightness is gone.
Thank you for reading my medical diary
What law exists that says a not verified vax card is illegal? I know you’re right about news articles saying this and I know it’ll take someone willing to pay a real lawyer to deal with this. But has any legislative branch actually passed a law about this?

Meantime anti vaxx protestors have set fire to the old parliament building in Canberra
Things aren't going well on case numbers. Over 5000 today in Victoria and 12000 cases in New South Wales. Every state is showing massive increases except the hermit Kingdom of Western Australia.
Victoria has announced that they're shutting down most of their testing sites due to 'hot weather'. The Feds are talking about re-defining close contacts to mean only household members and shortening the quarantine to 5 days.
The Covidians are NOT HAPPY! Our health care system will be overwhelmed and literally gazillions will die!!!
The number of deaths continues to fall, which can't be right. Surely a glitch in the reporting. Today we had almost 25K cases and 16 deaths, 13 of them in Victoria which is behind Sydney to the Omicron party.
Pretty soon the narrative will be switched. The Covidians will be claiming that the anti vaxxers in the government are hiding the true numbers and that thousands are dying.

Fake vaccine card sales have skyrocketed since President Biden's mandate, with numerous high profile reports of professional athletes, high-ranking NYPD officers, FDNY & Sanitation workers, and medical facility staff attempting to circumvent public health and safety regulations through use of...

"Severe" Omicron can lead to a moderately bad bronchitis. A steroid inhaler will usually alleviate symptoms. If you can keep a broad spectrum antibiotic on hand if you start coughing up green phlegm.
Antibiotics don't work on viruses (duh) but inflammation in the upper airways combined with a depressed immune system can lead to secondary bacterial infection. I strongly suspect that most genuine hospitalisations from Omicron Covid are due to this.
In NY, being convicted of any felony will suspend your right to vote for the duration of your sentence, as well as permanently remove your right to own a firearm or hold a number of employment licenses, among many, many other possibilities (example -- accessing worker's comp benefits). If that wasn't bad enough, NY is a state that still has a "three strikes" law on the books and active. Any three felonies on your record (like, say, buying a forged vax card for you, your spouse, and your kid), and the judge can choose to sentence you to life in prison as a "persistent felony offender" if he wishes. (Unlikely, sure, but theoretically possible.)
You can go HERE to pull up a full list and filter by subject if you're curious.
The last detail that jumped out at me was the date -- this law only went into effect on 12/23. If the law firm in one of the articles I linked says they're getting flooded with panicked calls from people who are already getting flagged for forged cards, it lends credence to their theory that NY has developed an automated process for finding likely fake cards.
