Some very interesting numbers in that article. 32% of the entire NYPD force is unvaccinated and refusing to comply so far. DeBlasio is playing a very dangerous game of chicken.

Under an executive order signed by the mayor last month, NYPD officers must either be vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test each week but the new order means about 20,000 unvaccinated officers must get at least one dose by 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 or be placed on unpaid leave, officials said.

USA Covid vaccine mandate legal drama roundup time!

Arizona made the news for a nationwide first -- Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is the first state AG to file for a temporary restraining order against the federal mandate. (Archive) While he is the first, he may not be the last -- two dozen more Republican state AGs have threatened to follow suit, but haven't yet done so. Time will tell if they find their balls. :optimistic:

On Sept. 14, Brnovich became the first U.S. attorney general to file a lawsuit against the mandates, arguing they violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution by allowing unvaccinated migrants to enter the United States.

Brnovich’s Friday amended complaint expanded his lawsuit against the administration by adding claims against the federal contractor and federal employee requirements. He said the mandates violate the constitutional rights of federal employees, contractors, and subcontractors, as well as individuals’ statutory right to refuse vaccines available under Emergency Use Authorizations from the Food and Drug Administration.

Moving a bit to the east in the US desert southwest region, things are getting interesting in San Antonio, Texas. The Texas Supreme Court just forbade the San Antonio Independent School District from requiring Covid vaccination as a condition of employment. (Archive)

No employees can be fired for not receiving the vaccine, and in the event, anyone is fired, the Texas Attorney General’s office says they should call the office and let the AG’s staff know.

The Texas Supreme Court issued a temporary stay, halting enforcement of San Antonio ISD’s mandate requiring that all employees receive both COVID-19 doses by Friday (Oct. 15).
The vaccine mandate lawsuits as well as lawsuits related to the mandating of mask wearing challenge the legality of Gov. Greg Abbott’s executive orders, which use the Texas Disaster Act as a justification for issuing them.

Several lawsuits last year filed against the governor asked the court to address the 1975-era law, arguing that the executive orders fell outside the scope of the law. The law has never been challenged in its history.

The court also said it has “not yet had the opportunity to consider the merits of these challenges. Our role has been to issue orders preserving the status quo. In the case of local governmental entities seeking to impose new mask mandates, we stayed temporary-relief orders permitting those mandates.”

Moving to the federal level, OSHA's pissed off and beginning proceedings to strip Arizona, South Carolina, and Utah of the authority to regulate workplace safety within their own borders. (Archive)

Under federal law, states can assume responsibility for occupational safety if the government approves their plan for doing so and if the plan remains at least as effective as federal enforcement.

Federal officials said Tuesday that the three states had failed to adopt a rule that OSHA issued in June — or to adopt one at least as effective — requiring certain Covid-related safety measures by employers, like providing protective equipment.

“OSHA has worked in good faith to help these three state plans come into compliance,” Jim Frederick, the agency’s acting director, said on a conference call. “But their continued refusal is a failure to maintain their state plan commitment to thousands of workers in their state.”

Finally, an update on autists' favorite subject -- trains. Union Pacific's legal dumpster fire is intensifying as the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers — Transportation Division (SMART-TD) union is joining two other unions (Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way unit of the International Teamsters union and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen) in suing the railroad over its corporate vaccine mandate. (Archive) UP is counter-suing, of course. I'm sure this will do great things for the ongoing supply chain fiasco.

The unions argue that the Omaha, Nebraska-based railroad should have negotiated with them before announcing it would require all employees to get the shots. The railroad contends in its own lawsuit that it believes it has the authority to require the vaccine under its existing contracts because it can set standards for when employees are fit for duty.

From firsthand life experience, I have had my ass personally chapped by Teamsters.

Those yahoos are doing good for once. You magnificent bastards.

Just remember, China still has less than 100k cases, lol.
Does that mean they didn't count the cases from Taiwan and Hong Kong? :story:

Btw, there's one pro-vax mandate guy who wanted to be the new James Alex Fields.

A man was arrested after he allegedly drove his vehicle into a group of people protesting against vaccine mandates in Southern California, officials said over the weekend.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office said that 64-year-old William Aslaksen was arrested about 90 minutes after the incident on Saturday. He was charged with felony assault and is being held in the Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale station.

“A witness stated a man disagreed with the protest, entered his vehicle and intentionally drove toward the protesters,” Deputy Trina Schrader said in a statement Sunday, according to local media reports. “The suspect then drove away westbound and out of view.”

One woman in her 40s, who was not identified, was injured during the incident, officials added. Her injuries were described as non-life-threatening, although she was taken to the hospital, Schrader said.

The protesters were demonstrating against COVID-19 vaccine mandates in Palmdale. Lt. T. Kim of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station told Channel 4 that the demonstration against mandates started at around 10 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 10th St. West and Rancho Vista Boulevard.

Kim said that Aslaksen was discovered and found at his home in Antelope Valley. He is slated to appear at the Antelope Valley Municipal Court in Lancaster on Tuesday.

Hey what's going on with our ally and friend Isreal ? I haven't heard a peep about cases lockdowns and boosters since the last sorry but your vaccine passport isn't valid unless you take the boosters .

As a small anecdote, I've been waiting on a minor (but not insignificant) op that was originally scheduled for early 2020. NHS waiting times being what they were, I should have had it done some time in june. The way things are going, I don't expect I'll see the recovery ward until 2023 at the earliest. Fun times.

You have to wait for surgery? What kind of shithole country do you live in?

If countries go back into full lockdown even with some of them in the 90+ threshold of vaccination and normies still don't wake up, then may God have mercy on them, because I won't, normies I know unironically believe they're now immune to covid when they got injected so another lockdown should be a massive wakeup call even for them...

...should be
Do people here forget ww2 happened? normies are dumb as shit. The other problem is that normies end up in power and get led by evil men too. For all we know Fauci was lying to the current and past administration too. Think about how Eisenhower let his underlings destroy america with their forced de-segregation or LBJ rubber stamping everything the CIA and FBI did because "its for the good of the country" even when he was pretty sure they were bullshitting him, they arguably destroyed his great society and even at the end of his life he still just was apathetic about it, even the presidents of the United States of America were too normie to get mad about what these people did to them.
I know they don't care but if we can't name shit after anyone white anymore could we at least not put people with RE names in charge of our health?

I love this motherfucker

pL but don’t think I am alone. Ive seriously contemplated it a few times the last 2 years. It comes and goes but staying off Twitter and not watching the tv man has helped a bit. It’s a hard thing to reconcile having nothing to live for.
I agree though, I need to take as many of these fuckers as possible with me (in minecraft)
Know that your continued existence causes them pain. Spite is still something to live for.

Let me preface this by saying this is only applicable advice in the event that the US is overrun by Russians.

If anyone else is feeling like this user, make sure you don't vocalize it to friends or reference it anywhere on the internet. There is nothing they fear more than lone wolf attacks. Take up hobbies that will make your Roblox expedition more lethal, you might even discover that it's worth it to live and fight one more day.

>me escaping after years of psychological warfare, demonization in the media, and suffering the abuses of a corrupt political system trying to make me poor.

New York City officials defend the decision to enlist foster children en masse, saying there was a crisis in the early 1990s and research provided the best treatment possibilities.
NYC: Hey fags, stop with the eating shit out of each others asses in public bathrooms and making with the AIDS.
Gays: No, that is asking too much. Still sick and aidsy over here though. You will cure us now.
NYC: Ok, I guess we test experimental drugs on orphans and torture beagles to death then.

I'm not from NZ, but when this woman dies (hopefully at the hands of a a New Zealander who's had enough of this shit) I'm going to drink an entire 12 pack of Yeunglings, smoke a fat blunt, and eat an entire birthday cake, all for myself, to celebrate this fucking slimy cunt's death.
Brenton Tarrant visited the wrong building.
"See if we just did what China did and literally seal people in their homes, we would have beaten covid."

Remember when you had retards saying that? The rabbit remembers.
They still say that, this is a common talking point among literal communists of all stripes from old-school commies to Reddit commies. The current go-to example is Vietnam and their "success". It's very interesting how communists universally support this in the name of "saving lives" despite the biggest benefactors being megacorporations, but I shouldn't try and read too much sense into communists since every single commie group believe in open borders as well because "well we can convince all the immigrants to become communists and then they'll help us overthrow capitalism". Communists are the biggest group of useful idiots on the planet for neoliberalism.

The only countries that could feasibly do this are islands which would have to absolutely ban all travel (not let people like New Zealand or Australia do) and do regular navy patrols to shoot anyone getting nearby or maybe North Korea would would have to ban all travel to China/Russia and put a wall and minefield and army there like their border with South Korea. Yet somehow, we're told that wearing two pieces of cloth on our face and taking two shots will somehow eliminate the disease LMAO

This video is of campaigning staff admitting that they are not going to push for vaccine mandates until after election season.
Because New Jersey has an election in a week and they don't want to increase turnout from the Republicans. It's expensive work to print more ballots and hide the ballot boxes until election night.
