Unfortunately this video might be a live example of those "scissor statement" ideas someone was harping about up-thread. Or on another thread. You can guarantee that there are people watching this video, who entirely agree with the premise "florida allows freedom; that is bad", and who will never be able to reconcile their world view with people who believe the exact opposite. Yes, I realise I'm citing old halloween fiction on slate star codex for this. Clown world is forever peaking.

I can see it now. The Ron DeSantis media campaign will kick off with the flight attendant from this this exact video but the music and horror sound effects are removed. The audio of the announcer is quieted down to background noise and the scene focuses on an individual family on a plane. A mother, father and their nine year old daughter share a family hug and just as the announcer says "and you have the absolute right to infect whoever you want, wherever and whenever, with Covid-19." The father says to his family "We've done it. We're free from their tyranny." The family begin to depart and the campaign video makes a dramatic shift to one of hope with upbeat music playing in the background.

The camera flies out from the airport showing bright blue, sun shining skies. The scene shifts to a hospital, a doctor is telling a Covid patient to hold on and the patient says "I'm not going to let this thing beat me." The scene shifts to scenes where some people are taking preventative measures such as a pizza delivery driver putting on a mask before stepping from their car to complete a delivery. Then a scene in a shopping mall where an individual without a mask tries to keep about six feet of distance from others while continuing to live his life. Brief scenes will continue as such and the video will finish with that hospital patient stepping outside, looking up to the sky and smiling, fully recovered.

Australia is the most rabidly pro-vaccine Covidian country on the planet. These numbers represent a vast underestimate of the actual risk profile but in comparison the flu vaccine had a total of 12 associated deaths.

More people have died from the vaccines in 2021 than with Covid.

I personally know of dozens of people who have suffered severe side effects from the vaccines including blood clots, terrible gastro symptoms, prolonged lethargy. lymph oedema, chronic pain, cardiac issues, high fever and so on. I only know of 1 person who's made a report to the the TGA. Most of them have sucked it up, taken sick leave and ridden it out. The few who've gone to their doctor have been told not to worry as it just the vaccine 'working',

There are various websites where you can sign up your email address to receive loads of emails to see if your inbox works. Loads and loads and loads and loads of emails. Be a crying shame if someone decided to try to put that email into the box on one of those websites.

I’ll save the good news for the end — because you need to know there is hope.

The bad news is that the country is on fire, thanks to the brain-dead, feeble, old man with dementia (aka President Joe Biden). If you don’t believe me, just see the 14,000 Haitian migrants hiding under a bridge in Texas, now released into America by Biden. That should help the COVID-19 pandemic.

But the worst is yet to come. I’m referring to Biden’s vaccine mandate. This is the most dangerous threat to our national security in history.

As a nationally syndicated radio host, I get thousands of emails a week. The ones I’m getting right now are downright tragic. I’m getting heartfelt letters of anguish from police officers, firefighters, paramedics, nurses, corrections officers, active-duty military, military fighter jet pilots, even Navy SEALs.

They’re all getting ready to quit or be fired because of vaccine mandates. They do not want the vaccine. Even if they have to give up their pensions. Even if they are one year away from retirement and a six-figure pension.

Japan to lift all coronavirus emergency steps nationwide​

TOKYO (AP) — Japan’s government announced Tuesday that the coronavirus state of emergency will end this week to help rejuvenate the economy as infections slow.

Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said the emergency will end Thursday and virus restrictions will be eased gradually “in order to resume daily lives despite the presence of the virus.” He said the government will create more temporary COVID-19 treatment facilities and continue vaccinations to prepare for any future resurgence.

“Our fight against the coronavirus is now entering a new phase,” Suga said. “Finally, we can see social and economic activities starting to normalize.”

Government officials are also instituting other plans such as vaccine passports and virus tests, Suga said.

With the lifting, Japan will be free of emergency requirements for the first time in more than six months.

Japan is eager to expand social and economic activities while balancing the need to prevent another wave of infections. The government, which is in transition as the governing party chooses a replacement for Suga later this week, is under pressure to maintain an effective virus strategy ahead of parliamentary elections in two months.

Japan’s current state of emergency, declared in April, was repeatedly extended and expanded. Despite public weariness and frustration over the measures, Japan has managed to avoid the more restrictive lockdowns imposed elsewhere while recording about 1.69 million cases and 17,500 deaths from COVID-19.

The emergency has mainly involved requests for restaurants and bars to reduce their hours and not serve alcohol. Governors in Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo and Kyoto have said they plan to keep those requests in place while closely monitoring the virus situation.

Eateries and other commercial establishments currently requested to close early should gradually return to their normal hours while the authorities reinforce health care systems, officials said. Bars and restaurants can start serving alcohol, but they are supposed to close by 9 p.m.

“Lifting of the emergency doesn’t mean we are 100% free,” Dr. Shigeru Omi, top medical adviser for the government, told reporters. “The government should send a clear message to the people that we can only relax gradually.”

He urged the authorities to quickly tighten controls if there are early signs of a resurgence ahead of holiday periods.

Infections started to worsen in July and peaked in mid-August after the Tokyo Olympics, surging above 5,000 daily cases in Tokyo alone and topping 25,000 nationwide. Thousands of patients unable to find hospital beds had to recover from the illness at home.

Olympics and government officials deny the Games directly caused the upsurge, but experts said the festive atmosphere made people more socially active and was indirectly responsible.

Suga decided to step down from party leadership and the premiership after facing criticism over his government’s virus measures and his insistence on holding the Olympics during the pandemic despite public opposition.

Daily reported cases have fallen to around 2,000 nationwide — less than one-tenth of the mid-August peak. Experts attributed the declining numbers to the progress of vaccinations — 58% of the population is fully vaccinated — and to people increasing their social distancing efforts after being alarmed by the collapse of medical systems.

Vaccinations minister Taro Kono recently said Japan is preparing to start administering boosters — a third shot for those who have already received two — to medical personnel by the end of this year and to elderly people early next year.

This dude suffered venous and arterial clotting at the same time which apart from being rare (in this age group as rare as hens teeth) can only be explained by a systemic clotting issue of some kind.


The booster program was being planned as the first mass vaccinations were being rolled out. I can't be arsed linking but Pfizer and Moderna stated in October/November 2020 that a booster would be needed every 6-12 months.

The Australian government has ordered 200 million vaccine doses for administration in 2022-23. These contracts were signed almost a year ago.
My government has also been spending tens of millions on IT infrastructure to support the Covid passport system. This work started more than a year ago.
Legislative changes were made to the Bio-Security law allowing for worker mandates months ago.

There's 2 possible ways this will go depending on what part of the world you live in.

Countries like Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Iceland have all but given up on the vaccines. No passports no mandates. If the vaccines work to reduce hospital admissions great but they understand that everyone is going to catch Covid eventually and natural herd immunity will become a thing with the coof becoming just another circulating cold bug.

Then there's the US model, which most of the west is following. A future of endless boosters and re-vaccinations enforced by mandates and passports.
It should be noted however that the US is particularly insane due to their refusal to recognize natural immunity. Even countries like Israel and Australia will give exemptions for vaccination to those who've recovered from Covid.

The vaccines don't work, they don't stop transmission and replication. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a deluded retard. Which means even in a country like Israel 20% of their population year in and year out will catch Covid-19 and eventually most of their people can give the jabs a pass. This will never be the case in the United States. You will be having your jabs two, four or six times a year and you'll like it.

Looks like Merck just beat Pfizer to the punch.

Merck announced Friday that an experimental COVID pill it has developed reduced hospitalizations and deaths by 50% in people recently infected with COVID.

The company will soon ask health officials in the US and abroad to authorize use of the drug.

The news came as a welcome surprise to the public, although COVID cases are already waning in the US and in hard-hit economies in Asia, the drug could create "a real therapeutic advance" that could dramatically decrease the risk of death from COVID.

If approved (and odds are it will be) the drug would be the first treatment for COVID. Some compared it to tamiflu, in that patients should take it within 5 days of COVID infection (like those infected with the flu are instructed to take tamiflu early).

Former FDA Director Dr. Scott Gottlieb told CNBC that the trial results are clearly "profoundly" positive, even though researchers decided to stop the trial early because the drug showed significant success, meaning it would be unethical to keep giving patients placebos. To test the drug, they needed to test more than 700 unvaccinated people in a global study. The people were all considered in the "high risk" category due to factors like age, and other characteristics from their "health profile".

Per the results, 7% of volunteers in the group that received the drug were hospitalized, and none of them died, compared with a 14% rate of hospitalization and death (include eight who died) in the placebo group.

According to Dr. Gottlieb, "this is a phenomenal result. This is a profound game-changer that we have an oral pill that had this kind of effect on patients who are already symptomatic."

Dr. Gottlieb also pointed out that the team that developed the drug "also invented the first successful antibody against ebola so this is a very good drug-development team."

"And remember we have two other drugs in development one by Pfizer (where Dr. Gottlieb serves on the board) and the other by Roches," he said.

So I wanted to add a comment about the Chinese sprayer trucks moving through Wuhan. I recall when it happened that there were reports about what it was. The reports were that it was some kind of TCM fermented vegetable water mixture. The theory going around (even here IIRC) was that they were trying to spread a weaker virus that would effectively immunize the public.

Merck hold the patents on ivermectin. This new drug is literally just ivermectin with a tweak. For the record, turns out it's not related to ivermectin, but it's also not an unreasonable suspicion to have when pharmaceutical companies have a long track record of re-engineering their expired patents so they can re-patent and make lots of money.
