The Japanese and Thai have been offering large scale donations of masks. The government outright refused to take them. It's already been mentioned that there were people washing them and selling them back at a higher price in China. I have worked with a lot of great Chinese people, but damn, what a fucking culture.

So they barricaded off the city, tore up the roads, and aren't allowing shipping? They didn't stock food and emergency supplies in those cities? They aren't moving food into the cities now?

I hope the bitch who bragged about evading virus screening so she wouldn't have to miss out on her vacation gets strung up and shot when she gets home.
 
Work with a Chinese woman who has been suffering from a fever last few days and started working from home last week to recover. Sends a department wide email "Please rest assured I have no connections to Wuhan and I have not been back to China in over a year. My illness is unrelated to the corona virus".

Should the Kiwis here ever decide to make a pirate radio broadcasting channel after the virus turns everything into Fallout-esque wastelands I request that these tracks be saved to play on the radio while I'm out scavenging and fending off corona zombies or whatever people end up mutating into after the pandemic ruins everything.

Sadly, the chinks are responding to this better than many westerners would. We'd be debating whether the virus is feminist or not, or if it's anti-semitic, and worrying about how it'll effect are freedumbs to watch capeshit and do sodomy. "Uh but what if somebody sexually identifies as the virus? Should we literally genocide them, hmm?"

The chinks are living in 1984 but we're living in Brave New World. Don't act like this wouldn't be a disaster if it emerged in a western country, we are as inept and delusional as them, albeit in different ways.
