large events like carnivals where cancelled as soon as it hit
all schools unis and other teaching institutions closed for 2 weeks as of 2 days ago
The PM made an announcement yesterday stating:
  • "most people that will get infected will have mild to no symptoms but some might need to be hospitalised [...] our target is simple the most serious cases be more spread out in time".
  • 2000 doctors and nurses are being hired
  • The ministry of education will provide e-learning so that the academic year isn't disturbed
  • He advised kids to avoid crowded places and to stay away from their grandparents especially if they have any symptoms
  • The public sector will continue to faction normally but they are pushing for more people to work from home
  • Vat and insurance payments cancelled for the businesses most affected
  • Emergency leave for parent of 15 years old or younger partially subsidised by the state
  • All restrictions that apply to gatherings apply to the church as well
  • he gave basic advice like wash your hands, don't touch your face, avoid gatherings in closed spaces, stay inside if you have symptoms and to be careful around old people and other sensitive groups
It might be also spreading in the refuge camp of Moria
Corona virus in Greece: two suspicious case in Moria (archive)
Possible cases of corona are two immigrants that were living in the Moria camp, Lesbos.

the two immigrants have fever and cold symptoms, according to the TV station ANT1. they were immediately quarantined and transferred to the hospital of Mytilene where they are hospitalised in isolation, while people suspected to have come in contact with them have also been quarantined.

Samples have been taken from the immigrants and others in the camp to confirm if they are positive for corona. The samples were sent to Athens and results are expected Thursday morning.

If the full blown panic had happened just two weeks earlier, I wonder how it would have affected U.S. Primary voting with heavier weight on mail-ins and people afraid to go vote. Oh god, I touched the same pen as a thousand other people! The same weirdly long folder to keep my votes private! AAAAAAAGH!

This is punishment to the heretics who performed such heinous actions like "having friends" or "going outside". The future belongs to the NEETs.

Honestly, you guys should absolutely have banned UK travellers too.

The management of the outbreak here is abominable, and the primary care doctors are openly at war with the public health doctors. Even the basic protective equipment - I’m talking disposable plastic aprons here - is not available to many GPs.

The medical staff of the NHS are openly stating they have no confidence in the government management of the outbreak. The issue is around when you agree to take the economic hit of social distancing “lockdown” versus the practical/political hit of the NHS being unable to treat all the over 65s with the consequences that may bring.

We have a confirmed case of community transmission here in Scotland. This is not being released to the media at present. That means this patient doesn’t know who they got it from, has been ill for almost a week, and has been to numerous high traffic public places in that time. We are not attempting contact tracing with this patient, because it’s futile.

If you keep letting us in, we are 100% bringing you even more cases of this.

How incompetent the US government is this shit is just going to keep getting worse
"Dont wear masks" the second actors and politicians start dropping we are going to weld people into their houses too
