Even massive protests wouldn't do anything to stop it because they'd just call the National Guard and have them actually do their job while the media declares it a "neo-Nazi alt-right coup attempt" and they'd ensure every single protestor who is arrested gets the book thrown at them. Not like you even could arrange a protest that big without the support of seriously powerful and wealthy individuals and corporations.

Basically you're fucked. All you can do is speak out against restrictions whenever anyone approaches you about it, repeat the facts about COVID-1984, and do shit like the "magic ADA card" to fuck with people trying to force you to wear a mask (not wearing a mask is pretty much a protest symbol at this point), get a vaccine, or whatever, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. This assumes you have the time, money, and will to fight it, or other factors like if you live with someone who is at high-risk of death (in which case you should wear a mask).

  • Make "pandemic" and play it out exactly like a pandemic movie, also highly suspect
  • Suddenly, the government has everyone's attention
  • Everyone, consciously or not, goes in lockstep with what the government says, even with blatant cognitive dissonance/denial like @Paragon and attacking blatant liberal strawmen instead of what was actually posted.
  • Government "helps" everyone out of the ensuing economic and societal crisis and suddenly everyone's faith in government is restored, having a cover for why the economy and society got completely fucked in the first place.

It's a plausible theory, but the main flaw is that it would take a generational project to rebuild trust in the government. Trust in the government started plummeting in the 60s with Vietnam, then Watergate and the Nixon pardon basically killed it, then Ronald Reagan spent years in office with his platform of small government with famous quotes like "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help." And no matter who's been in office, trust in government has pretty much stayed the same since.

But I'm pretty convinced that if Joe Biden wins, once he's inaugurated we'll start seeing a media campaign about how "oh, we over-reacted" and the media will start publicizing studies about how the disease actually isn't that dangerous for anyone who isn't a senior citizen/200 lbs overweight, how useful HCQ is for treating coronavirus patients. Reopening will occur on an accelerated pace by that point. Even mask laws will vanish because the media will start saying "well, you probably don't need one unless you're sick or near vulnerable people since they don't really work" and we'll be crowding sports arenas and movie theaters by next spring.

They'll blame Trump and Republicans as much as they can for the lockdowns and other failed policies, but they'll throw a few people under the bus in blue states and big cities here and there. No one important like Whitmer, Cuomo, or DiBlasio of course, they'll just come out and say something like "well, the data we received seemed to say this at the time, but that's because our health departments and other scientific agencies are underfunded thanks to Republicans so we couldn't get the best info" and have a few people resign.

And it will be all thanks to Joe Biden, who led the American people out of the crisis created by Donald Trump and his failed administration. The media will make sure they praise him at every corner for his fantastic job resolving the crisis and saving the economy.

I don't 100% stand by it anymore, I just feel I hit a bunch of primary "conspiracy theorist" talking points before they even existed. By "rebuilding trust", I primarily meant that people would better consent to loss of freedoms. And I completely nailed the planned financial crisis as well as them using COVID as a guise. To say the most teenage thing possible, when everyone just saw "stay at home" campaigns and the new "social distancing" term appearing everywhere, all I saw was green code.
 
30 counties in CA, including LA, are requiring closure for any indoor activities at:
-Fitness Centers
-Places of Worship
-Offices for Non-Critical Sectors
-Personal Care Services
-Hair Salons and Barbershops
-Malls

Statewide they also recently closed indoor operations for:
-Restaurants
-Wineries
-Movie theaters, family entertainment
-Zoos, museums
-Cardrooms

And all bars are closed, regardless of indoor/outdoor.

And the LA Unified School District will not be starting school with in-person classes. They're leaving options open as far as transitioning to in-person classes later.

You know, giving how we are finding more effective treatements for Corona and the lower death rates imply that herd immunity is kicking in, I wonder if that will get in the way of them trying to convince the average joe mandatory vaccines are the solution. Nature is starting to do its thing faster than they can manipulate the narrative and almost everyone who used the experimental drugs suffered either full recovery or at least had the severity of symptons reduced. It doesnt help countries who either smaller lockdowns or no lockdown at all had practically the same rate of infection as countries with heavy lockdowns (almost like they dont work or something)...

Im just thinking that, when chips are down, the fear and thus "NEED" for these forced satanic vaccines will go decrease the more its obvious this virus never was(or at least it isnt anymore) dangerous at all.

There is a reason they are hiding death rates, the media is nefarious and all sort of evil but they arent stupid.

Edit: Also its getting harder to hide the fact they keep motivating riots while saying for everyone to stay indoors, almost like its all a fucking narrative they made up. Oh and I forgot to mention how there are cases of people having corona but displaying minor or no symptons at all...again, as if it was all exagerrated.

Like bro, not locking down doesn't increase the chance of globalism increasing. In fact, as many people have said since this was posted, lockdowns and the new normal are a way of sacrificing normal life to keep globalism afloat. This isn't leading to a rise of nationalism, this is just atomization. Fucking retard.

They want to do it under the excuse of the "second wave" (because viruses work like enemy waves in games ya know) but while the number of infected is higher (thanks to higher number of testing and because a lot of similar diseases are being called Corona) but the death numbers are decreasing more and more (something the media is oddly avoiding to mention, I wonder why). So I wouldnt be surprised if they attempt something. Oh yes, they will also try to keep this going to try to justify mail-in elections (which are cartoonishly easily to commit voting fraud, something the democrats are banking on )

Look, something you gotta realize with this whole scam of a year is that our politicians aren't even bothering to hide how much they can get away with. Our governors and mayors are imposing borderline Orwellian methods on us and yet we aren't dragging them out of their homes, we are obeying like good little doggies for the most part and most legal methods to deal with them are far to burocratic and corrupt to have any consequences before it's too late.

They might be serious, they might be bullshitting us, perhaps they realize its better to leave us alone or maybe they didn't have their kicks yet until they are able to cheat the upcoming election. We will see but until normies actually do something about it, they dont care about consequences

I feel like the lockdowns were dragged on and on to smother any "Wait a second, this would have never happened if not for globalism" idea. Now everyone forgot dependency on China is bad and the goalposts have been successfully moved to this being all America's fault.

Maybe thats their plan but is it really working? I think they are trying to make people focus on just how "bad" Trump is and just how "good" Joe "Dangerous around females" Biden is so the elections will turn on their favor...and I dont think its working, at least not long term. Something they really dont count on is that they are the loud minority and a lot of silent majority share those sentiments, they just keep it to themselves to keep social lynching away from them and their loved ones.

2020 has been the left making a complete orwellian ass of itself and they are doubling down everytime. And so many lives and comfort zones are being fucked up by their actions that, as I mentioned before in another thread, it is red pilling the shit out of "blue" Normies. Why you think the left is insisting on mail ballots if they are so "comfortable" that they will win this election? All this censorship and meddling are acts of desperation because they know that the tighter they hold, the more red pilled normies will slip through their fingers. The left LOVES control and they are so terrified to lose it that they are willing to do anything to keep that control...but it is fleeting slowly and they are panicking.

So I honestly believe that once this pandemic is over with, China will return to the center and, depending how the election goes, the left might try to take advantage of the situation and say China helped Trump to win (and that the whole corona virus shit was their doing to win the election...at least some suckers will buy it, Im sure).
