The end scene is of Bart at the cemetery with the shriveled up fetus in his hands and he digs a small hole and quickly places the Apu-fetus into it. He then turns to the camera and goes, “¡Ay Caramba!”

Typical unfunny modern simpsons plot. Right at the end Homer drops a donut on the controls at work, triggering a nuclear explosion. Fade to credits, then post credits Futurama tie in easter egg.

Apu and black Smithers appears. It is revealed there are two Smithers' one white(or yellow) and one black, twins but different skin colour. They are mad about how the residents are so bigoted and won't accept non-yellow people.

Lisa is on the road complaining about how thin mannequins are while Apu runs her over with a tractor in his rampage.

Bart says Aya Carambara (he forgets his catchphrase because he hasn't actually said it for about 20 years) and moves to Canada to be a rock singer.

Marge has a heart attack and dies.

Homer says mm Duff good and watches TV while drinking Duff with his faithful dog on his lap.

Maggie has been dead in her cot for several days because everyone forgot about her.

Comic book guy is put in prison for having a meltdown and punching Milhouse causing him brain damage.

Ralph is enrolled in special education which help him to achieve his full potential. He starts to achieve reasonable grades and has a promising future.

Krusty retires and becomes a grumpy old man, spending all his time complaining online. He is in poor health.

Moe reveals he is bi and marries black Smithers. Moe becomes the happiest man in Springfield and has the last word before the show ends.

Or the episode where he jumps the canyon but falls into it and suffers multiple injuries could have left him in a coma. Every episode that happens after that is Homer dreaming.

It's a plausible theory given that the storylines of the early seasons seem more realistic compared to the later ones.

When Homer can't stop blaming himself for the loss of Apu, a weird string of events begins to unfold that could shake the very fabric of Springfield as we know it. The evil Psycho, Russell Cargill, under orders from a mysterious bureaucrat, is out for revenge against Homer and convinces the government to arrest him, while Kang is reprogrammed to incapacitate Grandpa Simpson and take his place. Meanwhile, Frink and his friends discover some weird signals emitting from space and Bart seems to be the key to it all. Finally, they discover that this force is Apu, whose spirits inhabits The Plot Hole, in which no life can be sustained...without horrific mishaps. In order to try and right his wrongs and find purpose within his life, Homer summons the denizens of Springfield for help. They steal equipment from Fink and transform the Homer's house into a galactic cruiser, christened the U.S.S. Exit Strategy, and blast off into space, bound for the moon of Rigel VII, where the Plot Hole is located. What follows is a series of hilarious hi-jinx and tear-jerking drama as the Simpsons square off against Russell, his forces, the jaded Kodos and the evil Executor, who kidnaps Lisa and makes her his apprentice. Marge enlists help from Rigellians to learn the ways of the Plot, as the Homer ventures alone into the Plot Hole and comes face to face with...his maker. Will our favorite Springfield denizens live long enough to get another season? Will Kang succeed in assimilating the crew before Grandpa Simpson can stop him? Will Homer give it all up or make the supreme sacrifice?
