You are in Yulin, China and get offered this delicacy. Do you eat?

Solution
Anytime I have Chinese takeout, I just assume it's dog. I do the same thing with fast food restaurants, I assume they have spat in my food and eat it anyway. One less thing I have to worry about.
I can't eat our oldest friend without stipulations. If I were starving, and a recently dead dog presented itself, I would eat it, but it would be one of those really sad moments when I lose a bit of humanity. Even if it was a wild dog or wolf or coyote. However, I know my dogs would have no second thought about consuming me in a famine. Because dogs have never eaten, ever, and they also don't know what pets are. Will you please pet them, now?

I think the meat of average dog would be unclean when lots have an appetite for eating their own crap, so no. I might eat one raised like cows in a good ranch though.

I wouldn't go out of my way to, but if I was in some shithole country where all the meat is rats and cats and dogs and mystery meat anyway, and I had no real option, then I guess so. I'd be pretty grossed out by it but you gotta eat.

I'd be willing to eat horse meat, so probably. However, I would not be hunting dogs or harvesting them like a Haitian would (when living in the first world).
