Would you ever eat a dog?

If you were in a chinaman country were it was legal and common, would you ever eat dog meat in order to experience local cuisine, or maybe just because you are curious. I think I might, although that depends on whether it tastes good and whether the dogs were slaughtered in a human manner. If you've ever eaten a dog, please tell whether it was any good.

Feel free to share your opinion on eating cat meat as well.

I’m told it tastes fine. Cat is stringy and rats don’t have enough meat to be worth the effort if anything else is available.

No, because the amount of meat on a typical dog is nowhere near as sustainable. And if we're talking about organ meat you can say hello to vitamin A toxicity.

Pit bulls look like they have a decent amount of meat on ‘em, and it’d be a great way to clear out the pit-infested shelters.

I’m open-minded and willing to try anything at least once food-wise (I’ve had kangaroo which was interesting: glad I tried it but won’t go out of my way to get more of it). However, I would like to have assurances that the meat wasn’t from an abducted pet.
