Would future generations be too retarded to do anything? - And be dependent on others who are also too retarded to do anything.

Honestly I think it's easy to fall into assuming future generations are stupid. Every generation seems to have their "kids these days" moments. Bare in mind if you're in your late 20s/early 30s and here you probably watched youtube poops and shouted "ima firin muh lazer" at one point, and your parents thought you had brain damage. If you survived that era and came out alright, They can survive this era. Without a shadow of a doubt in my mind. Humanity seems to do pretty decent in that regard big picture.
I do not think that's true, I think there's a very very big difference between teenagers seeing dumb memes on the internet vs. toddlers having hyperstimulating garbage in their face from the time they're out of the womb.

We did not come out of the "ima firing muh lazer" era alright.

Have you ever seen this shit in action? It's genuinely disturbing to watch. You hand a little kid a phone with youtube playing on it and it's like someone just shot them up with heroin. There's no way that isn't going to have consequences down the line.

I'm aware enough to realize that my parents thought my music was noise, my hobbies were dumb, and that I'm having an old man moment when I think the same. But no, the culture has shifted, and we are totally fucked as a society. (In America anyway) I won't go a long tangent about it, but the way things are going now is not the gradual shift our ancestors experienced.

Yeah I don't think previous generations of adults regularly consumed porn or spent their free time playing children's games, just like their prior generations didn't grow up to spend hours a week watching TV. And they certainly didn't do all their socializing through a gamified skinner box that uses gambling mechanics to encourage conformity to the norm. Parents who said "___ will rot your brain" have literally never been proven wrong, the brainrot just gets normalized.

Bro humanity hasn't changed in thousands of years. We find graffiti in pompei saying "xander has a small penis" or some shit, and viking runes 100 feet up carved in a wall saying "this is very high".

The average person may have had more skills on hand (sewing, cooking, etc) but they're all things you should know anyway. Changing a cart wheel? How bout changing a car tire? I'm sure there were people back then that didn't know how but figured it out. They didn't usually make their own shoes, tan their own hides, etc.
Nah, we'll be fine. Push comes to shove, our first instinct is to survive. If we were thrown in a situation that seemed dire, humans are like cockroaches. It's REALLY hard to kill us off. And anything we don't know, someone will have a desire to learn.

They said fire would rot Ugga's brain. Look where we are now.
