Arlo's stream of low effort shit is so embarrassing. The unused puppet sits in a corner gathering dust while a thirty year old reads a script fit for a five year old plastered over four year old trailer footage, delivering either the safest or the dumbest takes imaginable with nothing in between.Back in the pre-Switch days, you could at least tell that most Nintentubers or people who covered Nintendo content (I.E. Etika, Cobanermani, Chugga) knew what they were talking about and cared about it. Post-adpocalypse, you saw a new kind of YouTube content pop up where every video had to be 10 minutes or more, be crammed with filler, and pumped out constantly. Even when Alpharad brought back his How To Play 101 series, he padded the videos out to 10 minutes with commentated footage instead of ending the videos where they normally would otherwise.
You saw a lot of news-coverage-slop channels like SwitchForce, BeatEmUps, Blocked Content, and Nin10doland pop up and cover anything and everything, grasping onto every straw and covering every single leak and/or rumor. And to top it all off, a fair bit of them turned into complete drama queens, acting very over-the-top in both the thumbnail and video itself. Like, geez dude, it's just a video game. No need to act like it's the end of the world if [Insert Recent Game Here] dissapointed you.
All it really did in the long-term was further solidify YouTube's collective decent into madness in a post-adpocalypse world, where people became so unbelievably desparate to please their masters at the top, lest they be hit with the Yellow Dollar Sign of Doom. All the while, channels like GameXplain, who covered news but were otherwise grounded in their approach to videos and tone, had no choice but to pivot and become slop themselves.
I used to like Act Man for his CoD/Halo retrospectives, but he adds too many gags into the videos that ruins the flow. One minute it's Spongebob music, then it's a scene from a random game or movie as a joke.I'm reminded of Act Man now that his name is circling the social drain again lately. Theory channels that make 900 gorillion views and infinite dollars for nothing also piss me off.
And that completely fucked him over, that whole drama was built upon lies and bullshit by "lady emily" (powerword: Dalton Bray) and some woman who used to talk to Chugga back in the day.Chugga lusts over tranny feet
Having to play/buy vidya to experience the whole synopsis of the story is a bit of work in it of itself. As long as you don't have fucking obnoxious meme editing, terrible audio or injecting your shitty political opinions no one gives a fuck about, you can at least make for some good background noise while working because like shit is anyone gonna sit there and watch what you're doing on screen the whole way through.Anyone who titles a plot synopsis as "retrospective". Apparently, millions of retards enjoy listening to a guy giving a very surface-level (but 3 hours long) description of a game's events instead of playing it.

He adds nothing useful and retards parrot everything he says.
Justin was, by accident, one of the most important content creators in internet history, if only because he effectively torched an entire genre of online reviewing. He was about as useful to Channel Awesome as a dick pic in church.
Shame the train in Kickassia didn't run him over.
