So there is going to be a Wonder Woman game
Trailer debuted at the game awards. Nothing beyond Hyppolita voiceover though.

I don't really care for open-world stealth in general. Good stealth games like Mark of the Ninja or the Deus Ex games have deep level design because it's in enclosed spaces where the developers can think about all the different kinds of approach AND it's hard to escape if caught. Open world stealth allows the cheesing strategy of kill one guy and then run away to safety and wait for them to cool off. If this strategy is done in the Deus Ex prequels, the alarm goes off, everyone starts shooting and the player misses out on experience points.Played both Shadows of Mordor games. I did not like either of them. The gameplay felt like a bad mix of Batman Arkham City and Assassin's creed.
And what can Wonder Woman really do in a modern setting with that open world gameplay? Last I know, she was living as a art curator in Europe based on the DCEU movies. Will she be punching pakis on the face while updating new areas of London?
TBF, she is weak enough to bullets where it can hurt her, so maybe she can only deflect ranged attacks from the front and not from behind.I don't know much about Wonder Woman but feel she would have the Superman problem of being so op it would be tough to make a game around them. Batman and Spider Man still have that human element to them so while they still do extraordinary things they're also vulnerable to a good beating or getting shot in the face. Not sure how you get around that without giving grunts some contrived power boost like the MK/DC game did to explain why Sonya can beat the shit out of Darkseid. All we saw was a teaser trailer though so guess time will tell.
Third-person Skyrim clone with everything that made Skyrim fun taken out. They actually did a good job with her likeness, now the question is will it be an old god of war clone or a new god of war clone.
The lazy fix for that is just to throw in bots or Ares minions, shit like that. She does deal with magic and gods so getting mobs that could hurt her wouldn't be too difficultI don't know much about Wonder Woman but feel she would have the Superman problem of being so op it would be tough to make a game around them. That's also depends on the version they use as well since in modern versions she's almost as tanky as SupermanTBF, she is weak enough to bullets where it can hurt her, so maybe she can only deflect ranged attacks from the front and not from behind.
How old is this Wonder Woman?
Let me rephrase the question: what era is this Wonder Woman from? The bigger question is, will the older era Wonder Woman costumes be available, or will they not be available because they are "too problematic" for a 2020s release game.
>the Superman problem of being so opI don't know much about Wonder Woman but feel she would have the Superman problem of being so op it would be tough to make a game around them.
My money's at this being a fancy greek reskin of Shadow of Mordor/War, they're even using the Nemesis system. I'm also putting my money on them using an ancient greece or a medievel setting so they can repurpose some of the assets from those games. They actually did a good job with her likeness, now the question is will it be an old god of war clone or a new god of war clone.
