I didn't know hundreds of people bitching about how shitty their good lives are meant they also care about women in more oppressive countries.
 
They don't stone women to death in the US and other first world countries. They don't force genital mutilation on women here. Women here don't have to cover their entire bodies and can walk outside by themselves. The women at those events don't understand how good they really have it here. This whole movement is legit first world problems.
 
I'm having dinner with my sister tomorrow and I just know this is going to be all she wants to talk about. Fuck.
A year later and this video is still relevant.
 
I think Women's March is better when it's started in Middle East and not in a country that already respects women rights. They just started this event only because of Trump being a president, this has nothing to do with actual women's rights.

I hate Trump as much as the next person but their goals are just so vague. Like I think they have plenty of ammo against him (saying that women who have abortions should be "punished") but it's turning into a bunch of infighting instead.
