I’m old enough to be embarrassed by the angsty “nobody understands me” thing, but I definitely had that problem where a lot of the time it didn’t feel like I was speaking the same language as other people, like, they definitely couldn’t tell when I was being sarcastic, or even worse, being like you just were, sarcastic and sincere at the same time with double meaning.
